So far it is around 300. It could be more for you, but I am really out of shape and going slowly.

I feel horrible that I missed my workout yesterday (Burn Intervals)... to not compromise the rest of the week I had to skip that workout and today I did Push Circuit 3 and TJ's Pump Kick Jam.

Monday I start the LEAN PHASE, which I'm pretty excited about. So, monday is measuring day and photo day.

I'll keep you guys posted on my results.

Hi how is everyone doing?

Ugh, I just couldn't get going again after I got sick and then school got SOOOOO hectic with deadlines and Finals. (I know, excuses! Excuses!)
I really need to get my rear back in gear though!
I go visit my sister in St Simons Georgia in 88 days which isn't going to allow me to finish the WHOLE program but it'll be darn close!
I've gained about 2-3lbs which is surprising because my eating has sucked too but I definitely feel like it should be more....probably because I lost any muscle tone that I may have gotten while on the Burn Phase.
Thats proof to me that it was working though!

So my dilemma...I'm getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled this coming Friday. Should I just get back on the healthy eating wagon now and start my workouts a few days after getting my wisdom teeth or would you just start now and take a few days break?
I've never been put under or taken pain pills so I don't know how I will react. Some people say its no big deal while others I know have been sicker than dogs. YIKES I'm starting to get sooooo scared! lol

Well, I hope everyone is doing well! I hope to join you all again and stick around this time until the end!

Ginny, if I were you, I would start the program after you take your rest days. That you way you can really commit afterward and give 110%. But I would start to eat better right away. I mean, my diet is nothing to be inspired on, but counting my calorie intake has proven to be very much effective and I don't deprive myself from the things that I love to eat on a weekly basis, like a pizza on Sunday night or a big mac.

I've been cutting (and burning) and average of 7000 calories per week with exercise and cutting down the calories... that's enough to lose almost 2 pounds per week (or 1kg). I know that sounds a lot, but to me it's been quite easy. I burn an average of 500 with exercise and I take down my calorie intake by 600 (I eat about 1200 - 1300 calories per day), so I have a daily deficit of 1100 calories. Counting calories is something I can really stick to for a long time, because I can eat anything I like... just not at the amount that I would like...

I have never been this committed to something in my life. My workouts are never an obligation. Of course there are day when I feel too lazy, but I do it anyway. And on the warm up I get my groove on (thanks Chalene) and really start jumping, and dancing and having fun... omg how I love Turbo Jam!! And Chalean Extreme.. oh my... I can lift 15lb on several upper body exercises....

I'm talking too much. Nobody is gonna read a post this long

Oh I read it all!! haha
Thanks for the advice and motivation! I did well with my eating today....I think I need to focus on calories too so that way I don't feel like a failure when I eat that cookie or cheeseburger. (as long as it's in my caloric range!)

Thanks again!

LMS - the general belief is that about 2 lbs per week as a consistent weight loss is what is considered safe. What my understanding is is that if you lose more, your body can't get rid of fat that fast so it's likely muscle. So 90 days = 12 weeks = about 24-25 lbs. I wouldn't count on losing it all during one round of CE.

That said, if you take it seriously, including following the diet, you're definitely likely to lose (resist the temptation to cut calories even further than instructed, or you'll stall out any weight loss), and you'll probably do some pretty major sculpting on your body, which will make you look even thinner. I don't think it's possible to do something like CE in a committed fashion and not see significant results. Will you look like the handful of people they've picked for after videos? Maybe not, but I would be surprised if you don't love how you look after those 3 months!

Good luck!

As for Tosca Reno I eat very basic and don't get fancy with recipes which keeps my diet ie eating style pretty basic and easy lots of people would say boring BUT at this point I don't care I look at it mostly as fuel that taste good some better than others and if it tastes that GOOD I have to AVOID it cause I will over eat it! I mosltly follow her COOLER plan number 2 with a treat here and there.

I suck at taking my measurements. :/ I don't know if I'm doing it right... I get crazy numbers! *sigh*

Anyway, I lost 4 inches (4 less than last month). I think it's because of the muscle toning... I just finished the Push month. But I got into a pair of jeans that I haven't wore since 2007 and a month ago was to tight. I feel thinner and tighter.... so I'm not really taking the measurements too seriously and I'm trusting what I'm feeling on my clothes. I am really watching my calories and I am working out 6x a week, at least 1 hour per day.

I think I'm on the right track.

By the way, I did the Lean Circuit 1 today... holy shiz!! There were some exercises I felt like I was gonna cry! So hard.. working 2 muscle groups at once! I am getting better at the push-ups (still on the knees though)... but at least I'm doing more of them in good form. I'll get on my toes soon enough..

you are completetly on the right track and good job to you. Lean its pretty intense specially when your doing it right ....but it gets easier truts me.
I did the whole circuit back in April 2009 and lost 18 pounds total.
went from a 12 to 8's jeans. awsome results then i joined the gym for about another 5 months and didnt noticed much of a difference so now i am back on C/X but i been starting and getting interrupted w/lifes curb balls (children, family) i gained 7 pounds since november .....back into 10's now but started going strong again ..... lost 4 pounds during Burn and i am in day 2 of Push .....can not wait to do lean for my second time. i should be able to do more then my 1st time arround! I couldnt do a push up and i can now do 9 perfect toes and the rest on my knees. so proud of how far i have come with this program.
