Morning everyone.. another sunny day here.. the dh surprized me and came home early..daisy is doing much better as i quit giving her those pills..my sl was 105 this am.. have to run errands today and do some grocery shopping ..ttfn and hope u all have agreat dayrosey

Good Morning everybody . . .

Another nice looking day around here. Of course, it is going to be a rainy long-weekend for us. Why does that seem to happen so often? My BGL was 6.1 (110) this morning.

BTW, when I think back to Monday night, I think I just might have double-dosed myself with my bedtime Insulin. I remember, just as I was falling asleep that I kind of came to with a start and thought "gee, I forgot to take my Insulin" . . . so I got up and I shot up. Think the "forgot" was part of a dream but the getting up and shooting up part wasn't. Guess I'd better listen to my own better judgement . . . taking my bedtime Insulin is the last thing I always do at night and I've never forgotten in almost six years.

Glad to hear Daisy is feeling better . . . Rosey . . . It's two weeks for my kittens and they are just about completely over their surgery. Little scars are pretty much all healed and not even looking pink anymore and the fur is starting to grow back on their tummies. Freckle, of course, was hardly even phased by his little nip-tuck. Frack unfortunately still doesn't seem to appreciate the purpose of kitty litter, but at least she does seem to be confining herself to an area fairly close to the litter pans. We must be thankful for small favours, I suppose.

Well, my friend Lou-Lou and I are going to do the lunch and 'shop till you drop' thing this afternoon, so I'd better get a few little constructive things done before it's time to leave. Hope everybody has a great day planned. See you later, gang . . .

Morning everyone..woke up to pouring rain this am ..it is my 38th wedding anniversary today..cant imagine where all the years have gone .. we have never really done anything speacial for our anniversary but my dh always pics me wild flowers and i make a nice dinner..tonite we are having ribs,coleslaw, baked potatoe..meowee have fun shopping.. i did that yesterday.. today im working on some xmas gifts..hope u all have agreat dayroset

Hi, all. Someone turned the thermostat up to boiling here. Ugh! At least I don't live inland where the temps are in the100s. There might be some thunderstorms this afternoon in the East Bay. But not much rain if any. Well, I finally saw the doctor yesterday and had to do some testing. Will find out what's wrong next week, I guess. I'm sure it has to do with my poor eating habits the last few months. Oddly, by BGL and cholesterol are good.

Morning..another cloudy maybe rainy cold day here..i had a really nice anniversary..hard to imagine that we are still togetherafter 38 yrs..we are comfortable with each other like a pair of old slippers was it always happy ,nope it took alot of work and compromise to get where we are now..sooooooooo where is everyone and hows it going for you all ? hope where ever u are its good rosey

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been around much, I've been busy at work, and busy at home too. I seem to be much more active these days, I'm not sure if I'm more active because I'm losing weight or losing weight because I'm active, but either way I fall in to bed at night exhausted.

Tuesday is back to school and my daughter goes on a camping trip with her class for 4 nights. What a stupid time to have a trip, really. Plus I got a big list of things she would need to take so we had to go buy a bunch of stuff (hiking boots, sleeping bag, insect repellent, canteen) stuff we will never use again, I'm sure on top of all the other back to school stuff I've been buying.

Tomorrow night we are invited to a BBQ, I hope I can be good and not eat bad things. Today a customer brought us donuts in the office, it was tough but I didn't have anything.

Tomorrow is my weigh in with the Dietitian, I am hoping to be at the 40lbs lost mark (or close to it!) , will let you know how it goes - wish me luck!

Beautiful weather in Toronto, blue skies and mild, thank goodness the heat is gone.

Does anyone have any plans for the long weekend? my plans involve laundry.

Hi there everybody . . .

So sorry I was missing yesterday. Suffice it to say it did not turn out to be one of my better days -- involved a lot of ooey, gooey pizza and a lot of sweet and yummy date squares -- -- and did I ever pay for it last night.
