Peppers make you SMELL????????????????? I've never heard of that before. Green ones make me burp but red, yellow and orange are okay and a lot easier to eat.

I don't really much like stir frys - too much preparation and they all end up tasting the same.

It depends on how you plan being weighed in the future. It will be interesting to find out the difference a day's food and drink makes, though.

If you're going to regularly go to the evening weigh in class you need to show the alteration in your diet diary for what it is - the change over from being weighed empty to being weighed full (so it doesn't look like you pigged out this week). But if you are just going to the class on a one-off basis then I'd stick with your normal weigh in.

Have a nice time!

Yes, I've tried the ready-prepared stir fry veggies (expensive!) but I still don't much like it - DH loves massive veggie stir fries with noodles so I do have to eat them occasionally but no matter what I put in they always seem to taste the same. If I'm cooking for me on my own (for lunch) and I want something hot I do occasionally stir fry broccoli with orange and black beans or mushrooms with garlic and butterbeans - so I can taste the individual flavours.

Hello! I have been able to sneak on at work!

I'm feeling ok, my eating and exercise is pretty on form, haven't resorted to eating full bars of chocolate or anything, and life is a lot better now I am not stressed about Col all the time and waiting for the next aggressive episode.

I am still theoretically homeless, and bouncing around from place to place. I'm just taking each day at a time for now, wouldn't like to predict where I'll be in a month from now!

I miss talking to you all regularly!

Well in that case I think that (if I were you) I'd weigh myself this morning so I could see if I've lost anything in direct comparison to last week.... then again this evening so you get a comparison when you go back to get weighed next week - but make a note against it in your diet diary so you can see what happened in a few weeks time. Theres nothing worse than being good for a week and not being able to see a loss in your diet diary. (JMHO)

Sarah Ann - i know what you mean about stir fries and they always seem watery to me. I rarely have them now.

Thanks sarah ann i weighted myself first thing and i was 19st 7lbs which is a loss of 5lbs from 19st 12lbs so i will make a note of that and i will see how it differs from later , i hope its not too bad later i think i am gonna discuss with her about howit affects the loss anyway.

Morning .

I'm feeling a bit better today, certainly not as exhausted as I was Monday and yesterday. I could get used to this sleeping in until 6am stuff too . Oh well, it'll be back to normal next week so I better not get too used to it.

Sarah Ann sounds like your DH really tries. Mine used to pitch in and help with the cooking every now and again but he's seemingly forgotten about those days.

Frus and YP are you both excited? Silly question I bet you are. What's the shopping like in Amsterdam? Be careful about buying special brownies though .

The new season of Lost started over here last week so I'll be watching that tonight. I think Sawyer got cuter since the last season or maybe I'm just concentrating too hard on his dimples . No OK or Hello mags yesterday so I was deprived of my home grown trash, I did however manage to pick up a US Weekly (US trash mag) so will read that over dinner tonight.

Kykaree to you. I'm glad that you are doing well.

Sorry Kylie - you and I must have posted about the same time! I hope everything gets sorted for you - breaking up is always miserable even if you now its the right thing to do. I can't imagine waiting for DH to be aggressive - it must be totally exhausting to be on edge the whole time. I hope you find somewhere a bit more permanent to live soon.

Lynne - hmmmm, not so sure that DH is pitching in to be helpful - I think is more like he REALLY loves cooking, shame he's not so keen on the clearing up afterwards. When DH was in his teens he wanted to be a chef but his dad thought it was a 'nancy' thing to do so he got pushed in to the career he's in now which he doesn't like very much. (Funny, really, cos MY Dad was a chef!)

Crikey, Treezuk, well done on that 5lbs! I wouldn't have thought that a change in weighing times would make any difference to your weight loss - it doesn't really matter what time of the day you weigh yourself so long as you are consistent - its just that you get to see what YOU weigh if you a nekkid after a visit to the loo in the morning rather than fully clothed with a day's food inside you in the evening.

Gotta go look for the new smilies... *2 minutes later* found 'em - nice ones!
