Teresa - Well done on that 5lbs!
Kalijack -

for your exam results. I've only ever had a normal coil and it was pretty awful. It was after having it 'installed' that I seemed to start a whole series of problems in that region but I didn't put two and two together for a number of years, by that time it was too late.
Well.... I'm doing okay so far on my re-start. Three days with 2 to 3 hour walks and I've stuck to my planned meals and snacks. *All* I've got to do is carry on like this....!

Tonight I'm making one of DH's favourites - we call it Mexican pie (I haven't got a clue what its really called). Its like a Mexican lasagne but with wholemeal tortillas instead of pasta and I'm making it with minced turkey instead of beef. I'm having loads of green salad with mine but I expect DH will have mounds of grated cheese and sour cream on his.
While I'm still feeling all enthusiastic I'm going to plan out my meals for next week and then do my Sainsbury-online order.
I've decided I'm going to be brave and get on the scales on Saturday morning (my normal weigh in day) to see what damage I did on holiday and while staying with MIL.
Talking about MIL, I must have worried her because she went and had a cholesterol test - just waiting for the results - but her doctor says he can tell by her eyes that there might be a problem - whatever that means! He also thinks she might have an OVER active thyroid which would account for why she keeps losing weight all the time.
