For those on stabilization and maintenance.. They are running a special of $59.00 for one year of maintenance.. I bought it.. Mine expires March , 2012, so this will take me thru March 2013. That is the least expensive I have ever seen maintenance.

For those on the program to lose weight.. This is just a suggestion, you should not substitute or add to what is on program, as the program is set up to eat what is there for a purpose.. If you want to substitute something, bring it up to the center, and they will help you work around it.. Same thing if you want to add something, ask their advise on it. I hope I did not hurt anyone's feelings by posting this, but you succeed if you stay OP, unfortunately.. I saw two of my friends fail by altering the program to fit what they wanted to do& cheating, etc.. But again, this is a personal choice to everyone, and I am not judging, just telling you what I know from experience. Hope this can help someone.

Today at center, lady lost 50 pounds and 64". She is 5'2. She is in a size 6 dress now from a 16.. Seems odd to see before and after pictures, as people look like a new person. s he is so tiny and slim now, and looks fantastic.. I notice people that have lost the weight have new hairdos, use more makeup and are so happy.

Wishing all a great weigh in and congrats to all those that have lost weight and inches.

Patzi
I agree with you all the way. No judging anyone. Just from own experience. I have been there also. I still need more weight to come off, but am still going and trying. Good luck to all.

for the soup, i stir it with a fork to mix then microwave.

i haven't tried the hot Chocolate truffle but i know with my Protidiet Hot Cocoa that i add to hot coffee, i have to stir w/ a fork and sometimes keep stirring. if you are doing the Chocolate Truffle hot, maybe blend in blender first and then microwave. it makes a huge difference using a fork instead of a spoon. hope that helps!

i have the GE Single Serve blender that is perfect for the shakes :-)

Hey, everyone! I am back from my parents' house where I ate too much food! My goal for last week was maintenance but I was realistic and knew there was a great chance I'd gain a pound or two...and I was going to be okay with that. However, I ate so freaking much that I was sure I gained 5-6 pounds! Well, I didn't, thankfully, but I was up a pound. I asked on here what Metaquick was but haven't gotten any responses...from what I gather on different threads it's a 7 day diet (though does not have to be consecutive days) where you do the shakes??? So I am doing that today to get myself back on track starting tomorrow! My goal here on out is to lose 2-2.5 pounds per week.

Something I thought of--do you guys wear the same outfit at WIs? I do not but wondering if I should. When I went to a Weight Watchers WI, a lot of the women wore their "WI" outfit under their regular clothes and stripped down at the scale every week.

Just catching up on posts...sounds like people did great over Thanksgiving...and even if you intentionally (or unintentionally) went off plan, you are jumping right back on. So glad I found this forum.

Do individual consultants make commission on HNS sales? The reason I ask is because I do an at home program and always talk to the same consultant...but this weekend I happened to be in the town where my center is and stocked up on what I will need until the end of the year but it wasn't my consultant that helped me. I feel bad if she didn't get the commission as she is really awesome to work with...

I lost 2 lbs over Thanksgiving. Woot woot.

yes and it makes a big difference. i just started keeping shorts and tshirt in my car (since i wear suits to work, i walk in and change in their bathroom) then weigh in and change back. sounds crazy but i've been disappointed too many times having heavier clothes on that didn't reflect my true weight loss.

I wear the same clothes (or very similar), usually very light shorts and a t-shirt.

Yes, the consultants make a commission on product sales.

Metaquick is a nutra bar for breakfast and a nutra shake for lunch...although you can switch them around...but only one of each I believe, as the shakes are very high in protein. Then an OP dinner. Add all of your HNS during the day, too...and one of them can be creamy! After a splurge, I also add some fiber HNS to the regimen!!

I currently don't and probably should....I do try to do WI around the same time each week, though.

I always wear the same clothes to weigh in and go at the same time. My preference would be to weigh in first thing in the morning before I have eaten anything but the center doesn't open until 9, so I eat the same meal for breakfast on weigh in days as well.

It's really not that bad mixed with HNS-I've only mixed it with Mixed Berry, but have heard orange is good with it too. One consultant at my center mixes it with the hot chocolate-I thought "gross!" but she says it's like chocolate strawberries! That might require too much imagination for me!!!

Morning all! Geared up for a great day! Been on the MRC plan for 4 weeks. Have lost 9 lbs (for me that is huge...I was lucky to ever lose 1 or 2 pounds in a month previously and had been stuck at the same 5 lb weight range for a year and a half despite all other efforts). I need to take my measurements yet this morning...but my size 16's are all falling off or hanging low...so I'm going to take stock of what I have and maybe order a couple pairs of 14's online. I don't plan on staying there...10 or 12 is where I want to end up, but I also need to look professional for my job in the process...and there is a great sale today on the pants that I love.
