So I had the funniest experience last night, I was so happy about it. At my college, there is this really cute security guard that before last night, didn't even know I existed. He's cute, but he's also really shallow, and although his purpose at the school is to walk the women out to their cars at night because it's dark, he only offers to walk the pretty ones. So last night he was at the front desk as I was signing out, and he goes "You work here?" So I looked at him all confused and said "Yea", and then the receptionist goes "She's here all day everyday", and he was like "What department do you work in?" And then I said "financial aid", and he goes, "Oh! You're the one in the back! You look DIFFERENT...Something has changed, you look at least 10 years younger, what did you do?" And I was like "Really? I lost weight!" And then he said "Wow, you're very pretty! Let me get the door for you..Can I walk you to your car?"

Just him saying that to me gave me one of the best feelings in the world, that he actually noticed a difference. I was on cloud nine all last night and this morning still lol. Just goes to show you what a difference losing weight can make on your overall confidence and appearance

Congratulations on everyone's weight loss this week so far!

I finally broke out of the 190s today!!! I've been trying to do that on my own for months. I lost .2 pounds last night, for a new weight of 189.8. I'm in the 180s! I seriously can't stop smiling.

Have a great day everybody!
Congratulations! Your hard work is paying off and definitely worth it!

It's sad, but true! I was practically invisible when I was overweight. Now that I'm a fit fighting machine, I have offers of help all the time. Are you kidding me? Why didn't you offer to carry my bags when I actually needed the help? I could carry YOU in one arm and my bags in the other, you pig! It's a great feeling to be flirted with, even when I want to punch them in the face.

LMAO! That is how I feel! Like it's nice to flirt with me, but you're still a shallow jerk lol

I've been struggling with chocolate lately, too. My boss bought a bunch of Dove dark chocolate hearts and has them on her desk--and I have to go into her office frequently to help plan some inservice training that's coming up. I had some yesterday (and the day before), and I'm determined to resist them today!
I DID resist! I felt proud of myself. I was actually afraid to go downstairs to throw them out because I thought if I got my hands on them, I might eat them...so I stayed snug in my bed on the computer until hubby got home and I made HIM throw them out! Yay for small victories.

I just posted a lunch alfredo recipe on the recipe post up top. It was gooooood. Used cottage cheese (and I HATE plain cottage cheese...but this was good). A yummy, healthy lunch!

Default Soup recipes from Center

Hi..
I am about to post some soup recipes on the Recipe Section. I was given these from the center that I go to.I missed the cooking class, and they were kind enough to make me copies,so thought I would share.

It was confirmed at my center today that the prices of supplements are going up on the first. Hope everyone gets this news and stocks up.

I asked the consultants numerous times and every time they told me nope not going up. Guess they just didn't want me to find out until after it already went up.

My center still hasn't said anything about the price change. I talked to the manager this morning and she said she really hasn't heard anything. I dunno.

I DID lose 1.5 pounds today...taking me to 174...over halfway there! Woohoo! I met with a new consultant...she just started Monday...and she did not celebrate with me about being halfway there. I was kinda bummed. Don't they pay these people to pretend to be excited with us? :-) Its ok because I am excited, and I called my mom and she was excited...and I called hubs and he was excited (or at least they pretended. The new counselor could take a lesson!).

Here is to an OP day!

The Cary NC center notified clients of the HNS increase in March. They are also running re-enrollment special next week .. $74 for 10 weeks and $104 for 17 weeks. Since my contract is up the first week of March and I still need 20 lbs to lose, I will be taking advantage of the special and purchasing HNS @ $9 per box.

Razorbackbritt..

Congrats on weight loss and thanks for the Alfredo recipe. I love to try new
recipes.. I have had my problems with my center, but when I lose they do the woohoo. I am sorry they did not give you the same, as it means so much, but everyone here is cheering you on, for sure. Good for you.

So shallow. But so cool to get a compliment like that. Take 'em when you can. Congrats on the hard work too.
