My consultant today made me realize that I am down 35 lbs and am only 16 away from goal. After this week I am ready for a beer. At least I should be at goal before my hubby gets home. What a great surpise to show him my new body!!
Sorry to hear about your son...but WAY TO GO staying OP! For real! That was a feat to stay OP away from home and under stress. I am proud of you girl! And keep it up and show your hubby your hot new bod when he comes home! Jealous you are so close to goal! I can't wait to be there.

I am on Day 5 and I am excited. I haven't weighed, because I don't want to obsess. I'm just staying OP. I may go ahead and weigh, I may not. I MUST have your support, though. I can't do this alone.

Thank you!

Joy, I don't know where you read that we discourage exercise? I think every post I've read, everyone is getting it in! I know that I am starting off slow, only because I haven't exercised in quite a while! I normally do sand volleyball in the Spring, Summer, and Fall - even at 280lbs. But this year I am thinking more of things I can do at home & with my family. We were planing on picking up walking, but overnight we got 2 inches of ice and snow, so we'll have to pick it up on Sunday provided it doesn't rain.

Additionally - that is what this forum is for - SUPPORT!! It's a change of life, not a diet.. so I'm behind you 100%!!!!

Excellent suggestion! I will give it a try on Saturday! Thanks!

Hi..
I weighed in and lost .7 pounds. 1 1/2 pounds to go towards goal.

Struggling Nicole.. So sorry to hear about your child. Be proud of yourself staying OP.. Good for you.

As for exercise, my center does encourage it. Always asks how much and what kind each time we go.. They are having a boot camp next month, that involves exercises for an hour at the main center. They also have yoga.

Congratulations to all of you that have lost weight.

Dear born2b, exercise is great, but overdoing will undo you!

I've been totally frustrated this week because the scale actually went up 2 pounds on Monday (even though I've been OP), but now it's back down to where it was at the end of last week, which means absolutely ZERO pounds lost this week. Boo! So, I was getting really down on myself. At today's weigh-in, I got measured and had a body composition run. Even though I've only lost 6 pounds since the beginning of February, I've gained 2 pounds of muscle, dropped my body fat by over 2% and lost 14.5 inches - just since the beginning of the month! Woohoo! That totally turned my frown upside-down. So, if you'll excuse me, I'd like to put all of those silly dancing critters at the end of this message.

Any challenges for you guys this weekend? How are you planning ahead and working it out?
Yes a have a big challenge. I am throwing a baby shower for my friend w/a guest list of 100 people. It was a huge undertaking and there will be lots of yummy food, but I plan on taking a mrs & hns with me to hold me over. I will be so relived once this baby shower is over. I love my friend, but 100 people was CRAZY planning & she turned into baby-showerzilla in the process.

This is an area where I really have challenges, because I am such a social drinker.

7 1/2 pounds lost at WI on Thursday - I hope to sign the 10lb board by next Thursday, so I decided to set some goals for myself at every 5 lbs lost... hopefully this will keep me on track for many more weekends to come!
You can do it! Have fun at the beach party. Maybe always having a drink (water) in your hand will help. I am making sangria for 100 people tomorrow and am that I can't drink any. A girl could only dream haha.

I drink whey protein shakes with skim milk or "1/2 of a pure protein bar" for my HNS. I take Lipo6X for my fatburner, and GNC Women's Multi's.
