I was told that the weight has to do with the magic body fat range and my first tanita said my goal was 133 and the sedond said 125! Thats a big difference.

I actually talked to my center today about this. I was looking at BMI/weight tables last week and realized I would still be considered overweight when I hit my goal. And, I've seen people at my height with a goal 10 pounds less than mine. I figured out that with my FFM (fat free mass) of 102 (it's on the Tanita print-out and they adjust for water somehow), at my goal of 145, my body fat percentage would still be 29.6%. So now I'm really confused. Didn't I read that they won't let you start stabilization until you're at 28%? I'm thinking I'll end up at a goal closer to 135? Since I haven't weighed that since college, it's a little hard to get my head around!! Or, maybe I need to start lifting weights to get my FFM higher!! I have been focusing almost entirely on cardio workouts, so maybe it's time to add the weight training.

Anyway, it's an interesting concept to consider.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking along the lines of what you did with the boxes. I didn't realize you could take food, so that helps as well. I'll be gone for 7 days, so hopefully I will have a flight with no issues as you did. Thanks again.

I just wanted to share with you all that after being on the program for 4 weeks (including preconditioning) I have had a very slow weightloss but yesterday morning my scale read 179! Mind you it was first thing in the morning before all the supplements and mass amounts of water, but I haven't seen that number in over a year and a half. So even though I am not losing the 3#s per week that I was told I would, seeing that number gave me the motivation to keep trying.

Good for you hopeful, that's a tough lesson to learn :0) We've all noticed there are some real ups and downs on this program, some weeks are better than others but the best thing to do is to just stick with it... it will take you where you want to be eventually and it sounds to me like you're on your way.. Keep up the great work!

Thelish... was it you that posted the recipe about grilling a peach cut side down on the foreman grill and topping with cinn and vanilla supplement? Well I finally got the chance to try it today and I loved it! I really did feel like I was having a peaches and cream baked type dessert, it was delicious. Even my 12 yo very picky daughter tried it and thought it was pretty good :0) Thanks for the recipe idea!

For Others in case you missed it:
Cut a peach in half, remove seed
Sprinkle cut sides with Cinnamon and Splenda
Place cut side down on Foreman grill, cook 3 min
Mix up Vanilla pudding supplement (you may add in a small amt cinnamon and nutmeg if you so desire)
Remove cooked peaches from grill. Turn over onto a plate.
Top with Vanilla pudding supplement and enjoy

OK....went into wi today and no loss/no gain. I did have that bad honey graham cracker on Monday but I really thought I would have lost at least a bit. So.....camping this weekend and I am really prepared with my food. I think anyway. Monday I will have to see how I did.

Hi
I was making the cinnamon cookies and put lemon drink in by mistake. It was a good mistake. I liked them better. I used 1 40 calorie bread, 1 egg and a powder drink. It makes a thinner batter. Bake 350 for 8-10 minutes.
I went to W/I today. 1 1/2 lbs. more and they did my measurment, 25 inches gone. This diet is working for me.

WI in this morning at 174.5. That's a 13.5 pound lost in 1 month and 3 days. I am so excited that I am pushing through this plateau that had me stuck at 176 but the b6 tablets have really help me to release that extra water weight. Well have a good OP weekend and can't wait to read more about the weight loss.

I must say thank you to thelish. I tried the peach dessert at lunch today and it was AMAZING!! I was .5 lb away from signing the 40 board but I'll hit it next week I know! I've lost 6 more inches this month so that felt pretty good. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I am also 5'2" and my Tanita said my goal should be 146. I personally made my goal to be 130. I felt I would be healthier and happier at that. If I am going to suffer and go through this weight loss program, I am going to be not just thinner and healthier, I wanted to look hot! :D
Ask them at you next WI to explain why the goal weight changed.

Hi everyone! I just joined MRC on Thursday and am excited to lose the pounds, hopefully they won't find me gain though, maybe I should leave a "no forwarding address" or go into a weight "witness protection plan" :)

Ladies I have been going through my closet and have quite a few size 2X clothing that no longer fits. Mostly tops from Coldwater Creek. I have a few pants but have not gotten to them yet. Most of the items are in excellent condition. If you are in the Omaha/Bellevue Ne. area and think you may be interested you can email me at [email protected]. If anyone out the the area would be interested I would be willing to ship if you pay the shipping charges.

I went to my food instruction class on Friday, so starting my first menu tomorrow. I've been following it over the weekend for the most part hoping it will help my Monday go smooth. I am so motivated about the program.
