Thanks!! Yes, too much fun! I decided to only precondition 1 day and got back on the green menu yesterday. It went well and made it through the day with no headache or hunger. Still haven't weighed myself. I'm thinking maybe Friday or Saturday will be safe :0)

I plan on trying the B6 & B12 vitamins as well. My consultant today said he has heard it works. So I will try it and report back here :)

I am going in for my first meeting on Friday. The preconditioning has gone well. I had to wait a couple weeks before I could get back for the meeting as I live an hour from the center, so I lost 6 pounds so far which is a nice start. They mentioned in the first consultation you can bring family to your meeting, she suggested if my husband wanted to come to know what the plan I was starting was to bring him along. So he said he'd go with me...everyone who has already been through their first class do you think it would be anything that would help him understand the plan? We work opposite shifts, so he's going with me during his sleeping time :) But I don't know what kind of info they really give the first visit.

Thanks for your support!!! I went to WI today and I am down 10 lbs in 4 weeks! so I have 5.5 to go befoer the reunion. I haven't been working out much so I'm gonna try and really step it up.

Where are you in N-CO? My mom lives in Grover. Not many people know where that is... LOL!

Has anyone delt with their goal weight changing?

I was told that the weight has to do with the magic body fat range and my first tanita said my goal was 133 and the sedond said 125! Thats a big difference.

YES that is what drove me nuts the first time I did this plan. I was told 165 and when I hit 161 I still wasn't in Stabilization because my body fat % wasn't right. It is so much better that it changed now instead of then. Just remember that that # is a guideline and you can quit any time you want to.

Just hit 10 lbs today!!! Center said to do something for me, just ME so I just scheduled a 1 hour massage this evening!!! Can't wait!!!

Its smack dab between Ft Collins, Greeley and Sterling... about 40 miles east from I25 on Hwy 14 then north at Briggsdale, 14 miles to the turn and 6 more miles east to Grover... BFE!!! :)

Thanks for the help with the goal numbers... My muscle weight is pretty high so hopefully that helps!

Mindy,

I think it will be very helpful for him to go with you. I assume this is your food instruction class. They will give you ALL the information you need to know for this program. You will also better understand why you are instructed to eat the foods on your menu. If you think it will help you to have your husband's full support, I say he should go.

Congratulations on your quick 6 lb loss.

If it's the food instruction class then I would say yes unless he is really not excited about going and doesn't mind you coming home and telling him all about it. That's what I did and my hubby has helped me out alot. I also posted my menu on the inside of a cabinet door so we could reference it quickly while cooking. Good Luck! :0)

Interesting.... I'm 5'6" and my Tanita goal is around 155 (this is the # listed at the bottom of the print out as recommended wt goal). My personal goal is 150. I'm going to have to do some research on the Tanita and how it measures body fat/muscle mass/water weight/bone mass etc. I'll get back to you on this one.

I think it's pretty awesome that he is willing to go. It is very important that he goes and understands what you are doing. I think the people around us make it either easier or very difficult to stay OP.

Thelish> I know exactly how you feel. I have stuck to plan and lost the weight was only 13 lbs from goal. Started at 259 and down to 183 then work got really stressful and family issues you know. Well we know it takes three days to get back into ketosis and right now I have not been able to stick to three days without something I shouldn't doesn't help that I ran out of drinks. Just remember how it felt when we saw the weight loss and how we felt. I will let you know how I do being accountable always helps Take Care.

So mad at myself!
 
Well I don't know what has gotten into me but I totally had a huge cheat day today. I ate panera bread and a cookie and for dinner I had chicken nuggets. I feel so bad! But I am sick right now with a cold and the foods are just not appealing to me at all. I hope this doesn't hurt me too much. I will be back on track tomorrow. It is kinda like I am rebelling but the only person I am rebelling against is myself! So Stupid! AAAHH!:mad:
