Good job. Its not what you wanted but at least the scale is still moving in the right direction.

Thanks for all the great advice... I haven't tried Spaghetti squash, but its definitely something I would like to try. I'm also not too sure where you can get buffalo at..We have a small meat market here, but I don't recall ever seeing buffalo there.. I'll have to go there and look again...From what I hear its pretty good.

Jeweliek grats on the WI!! I go to mine tomorrow...:dizzy:

I just got back from the grocery store and I actually found some ground buffalo. It shows on my menu that I can have this every day if I want just like chicken or turkey. Ive never had it before and comments before I try it.

Love the buffalo. It does drain a lot of fat/water out so make sure you measure after cooking. Works/tastes just like beef so seasoning it is easy. Like burgers made with garlic/onion powder with mustard on it. Also like to have mini meatloafs. Enjoy!

Tried the buffalo last night for dinner and it was great. I have been so tired of chicken and turkey that it is now my favorite meat...LOL!

I am SO GLAD that I found this thread. My sister and I both started on MRC. My "official" start date was last Monday July 27th. We were on the pre-conditioning for a little over a week. I lost 10 pounds on that. This was on a Friday. Then that Saturday was my daughters birthday party. I had just done the preconditioning, the lady at MRC said we were going to start with "the real thing" on Monday. I thought woo hoo! I can eat a little at the party. That ended up being a hamburger, potato salad, beans. I then threw about 5or 6 potato chips on top of everything. OH, and then I had to have several glasses of that yummy punch, because it was so. hot! The punch was a mixture of 7-up and Hawaiian punch. Then I allowed myself about 2 two square inches of the cake. When I weighed the Monday after that....I had gained a pound! OH I was mad at myself. Was it worth a pound? NO WAY! I will not do that again. I then weighed the following Thursday, and I had lost 3 more pounds...YEA!! I am on level three. I am so excited and ready to lose this dang weight. Im too young to feel this old. I plan to enjoy every step on the journey. Im sure we will all be continually seeing less of each other as the months go by. Love and luck to all my fellow "losers".

I hate that happened to you. I am getting started and doing it on my own. I just really can not afford the joining fee again and all of the supplements. I am buying my drinks online and the other supplements elsewhere. Keep going. You can do it!

Hi, where do you buy the drinks online? Would love to do that eventually.

I love buffalo!!! Its what got me through to my goal! I got so tired of chicken and I don't like fish so I ended up eating bison just about every day. It's awesome!

Congrats on the 10 lbs!!! You're off to a great start! Where are you in NE? I go to the Bellevue center. There's lots of awesome ladies there!

So I went to my class on Friday, having only lost 1/2 lb on preconditioning. There was sooo much information it was a tad owerwhelming. Today is the end of day day 2 and I have followed the menu exactly and drank all of my water (plus some). Last night I went to a huge party where there was TONS of food and the drinks were flowing. I opted to just sit and chat with some friends on the deck, far from the food, and drank my water all night; I actually drank an extra 64 ounces because of it. Which means I was hitting the restroom every 10 minutes! I am curious to see what the scale says on Tuesday when I go back and pick up my next menu. :)

Social eating and drinking is my big problem. I am a MRC repeat. I orgininally signed up in March and should have been on maitenance by now, but I did not completely dedicate my self to the program. I actually have been on and off the program and these boards since March, but I am ready to do it this time. I signed up for a 17 week special this past week and am doing preconditioning now. I go in to WI today and get my menu. I don't know if I lost much but we will see. I am just so ready to do this since I should be done by Thanksgiving. I will need support/ideas from everyone here to keep me motivated and honest. Good luck to us all!
