I did so well this summer and have lost 30lbs so far, but since going back to teaching I have had a hard time following plan. Basically I do fine for breakfast, fine at lunch and then totally lose it by dinner (having a desire to eat everything in sight which I generally don't) I know part of the problem is the 1hour plus commute I have, and part of it is emotional eating, this year has been really stressful. My grandmother passed away two weekends ago and that was the end.

I'm trying to get back on track, but I need some help. Anyone have suggestions on the commute issue?? Also, I know part of my problem is that I am in a 10/12 right now and feel pretty good about myself therefore I don't have the "self-lothing" that motivated me in the beginning.

Thanks for reading and any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Have you considered having a hns drink while you commute? You could keep the concentrate in the car with you and mix it in a water bottle that you could fill up on your way out the door at work. They don't taste that bad and the protien might just be enough to tide you over until dinner.

I went to WI and I am down 1.5 pounds put I was up 1 pound Tuesday so really I am only down .5 this week. Don't know what it is I am so close to my goal weight and cant get it...lol... it is almost funny when you think about. I will go on stabilization on 11/11/08. I have no clue what is going to happen and the food changes any help here?

I went to the doctor yesterday and he congratulated me on my weight loss. That felt pretty good. I am not sure he believed me when I said that on my next visit six months from now I will have lost another 50 pounds.

I went to WI this morning and was down another pound. Not enough for the 30 pound board. I should be able to get there next week.

This week I am getting rid of the last of the off plan food that is in my freezer. It will feel great to have it all gone. My sister is going to take it. I haven't seen her since I started the program so it will be interesting to see if she notices a difference.

Congrats to everyone on their recent successes.

I have been thinking about it and I have added me a min goal of 12 more pounds to lose before going on stabilization on 11/11/08. My center says 135 is fine for a goal but with my body type it would be ok to go down to 125.5 so that would be 12 more pound. Maybe with a bigger target to go for I'll get back on the big loss wagon.

Just back from WI and was down 1 lb. Today was tanita & measuring day. For the first time I hit a healty BMI :carrot: I was more excited about that than the pound :D I have lost a total of 96 1/4 inches. My stab class is Nov 17 so I've got a little over 5 weeks to keep losing.

Congrats on the loss and for being so close to that 30lb board. It will be yours to sign next time! I bet your doctor is going to be amazed when he sees you in 6 months.

We'll be starting stabilization around the same time :D

Hello everyone! I'm back after falling off the wagon for about 2 months. I've managed to maintain where I was weight wise & lost a few more inches, but I gotta finish this and lose as much of this last 20 pounds as possible! I only have until November 7 before my contract is up!

I'm finding it really hard to be as motivated as I was in the beginning. I knew coming back here and being accountable to all of you would surely help me stay on track better. I've just gotten too comfortable I think once people started noticing the changes, I was too content... (which makes no sense - I SHOULD wanna try harder! What's wrong with me?)

So, here I am! I need you all! Help me help myself get skinny!!

Girl I know what you mean about getting to that place where it is like do I really want to keep going??? It is so much easier not to. But what have we learned from this program is that yes it easier to stay off program but do we really want to settle for the easy way anymore?
Are we not stronger then the food and temptations? 30 something pounds ago easier was ok but girl your almost there and you can do and I believe you will do it and be a better person for it... U turn!!!!!!!:hug:

Crystal!!! It's great to see you back. I was wondering what had happened to you. It's so good to have you back on here :D
It IS easy to get complacent when you have a lost enough to look better and have people notice. But you're right, you should try to finish what you've started and then be able to have maintenance to keep you accountable for the next year. You can do this!

BTW - I know the names but don't recognize the pics!!! (wink) YOU TWO LOOK SOOOOO DIFFERENT! Congrats on the good work! OK - now I really wanna be like you! Thanks for the kick in the seat! Been OP all day today!

That is fantastic about the BMI!! I know that I would be ecstatic.

96-1/4 inches...WOW...That's over 8'-0"!! How many weeks have you been doing this?

You are really an inspiration!!

Crystal ---- welcome back! My center had a remotivation class last night and it was helpful. The director taught it and gave us all sorts of options -- the 2-meal a day plan, metaquick (which I learned some things about -- like you could do it M, W and F -- doesn't have to be consecutive days), vegetarian, etc.

Finz -- WOW! A healthy BMI, that has to feel great! That's where I got caught up before .... I was within 8 pounds of my goal and then they reset my goal 25 pounds less because of BMI ..... uugghhhhhhhhhhh!

I have my annual girls weekend (this year it's in Denver, so it's close) but it's soooooooo food-oriented. I made all sorts of things that everyone likes but that I don't! That's my strategy...... hoping it works.

I just got back from WI-- down 3 lbs. since Monday, and my BMI was 30-- just another couple of pounds, and I'll be overweight instead of obese, lol.

I also got measured, and I've lost 53 inches overall-- yea! :)

Awww..thank you! This board has been so helpful through the entire process. It's been a fantastic place to get support and motivation. I started Jan. 15th. One of my closest friends started a month after me and that has also been a wonderful help. We keep each other honest!

That sounds like a plan--and don't let yourself get hungry so you grab something without thinking about it. You'll be fine! Have a great time :D

Okay...I purchased the Fat/Carb Blocker today. I bought them for "emergency use only". To those of you that have used them how well do they work in your honest opinion?
