I went to an interesting class last week called "Lifting to Lose". Their premise was that while overall toning is great in the long run if your purpose is to build muscle to lose weight you should focus your attention on those muscle groups that you personally develop the fastest. It is an interesting concept that makes sense to me. Just thought I would throw it out there since I had never considered it before.

Sorry ladies I have not posted in forever! I need to update my stats and create a new ticker! What sites are best for the tickers?? I weighed in on Tuesday after weighing in last Friday and was up a half pound (probably just water weight) so haven't weighed in yet again this week as the scale at home still seems the same. I may go in tomorrow or Saturday depending on the number.

I am needing some good recipes for a quick breakfast and for a late night treat. Any suggestions?? I am on the green menu.

Need to go pick up the twinkies from preschool - will try and post more later~!!

My center says that you can have even the regular ones, but make sure you only have a 40 Calorie serving, so if you use the 80 calorie ones, you only get half...

BUT, as soon as I got home, I got right back with it. AMAZING what your body does with BAD food, not enough water, too much salt.... I lost 8 pounds the first day, 5.5lbs the second day, and 1.5lbs the 3rd day. Going to WI Thurs or Fri, so unless my body keeps 'venting' the bachelor weekend, will be up about 1lb.

We shall see. Going to try and catch up on the boards last week!

Do I have this right? You ate whatever you wanted, gained 16 lbs in 4 days & pretty much lost it in 3 days. I've thought this for a long time, but now my suspicions are confirmed. SCHOON IS AN ALIEN! One more reason to hate you. :D

You should be proud--those are awesome achievements! :congrat:

I had my first post vacation WI this morning and was down 1.5 lbs :carrot:
I'm really glad that I waited a few days after returning to go in. I think I should have done measurements today but my counselor and I were talking about vacations & eating out and we just forgot so I'll do them next week.

I've tried some different things out of the cookbook, but I just can't bring myself to eat (and if I do eat, I only eat a small amount). This is only at dinner, I'm fine at lunch and breakfast. But with all meals, when I do get hungry I get nauseous.

I went to WI on Saturday and it marked my 1-month anniversary with MRC. So far I've lost 12lbs and 18.5 inches. So I know its working, and I just have to keep going.

I have the same problem at dinner. Nothing seems appetizing. I find if I eat earlier in the day it helps. The later I eat the worse it is. I am fine with breakfast and lunch.

How do you know when they are having classes? My center doesn't advertise them? Does every center have classes?

Rocki - Sounds like you had a tough week. Keep your chin up your look amazing.
Congrats on all the losses.

I "officially" went on stabilization this week. Then had a meltdown the next day. I had a long talk with a counselor yesterday and we decided that I should wait one more week to stabilize. I need to be perfectly on plan this week and then try stabilization. So of course my meal last night was totally off plan. Self -sabotauge sucks. But today is a new day. I have been perfect today. I started taking the new phentatrim and have not felt hungry all day. I need to check in here more often. I think it keeps me accountable. Thanks for all the good advice and support from everyone.

What is the difference between the regular program and the stabilization program? All I know is that you start that when you reach your goal.

Msm?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Can anyone tell me what MSM is and what it does?

Is there an easy way to get to this page? I always have to do a search and look for it?

Hey all! I WI today and am down 2.5lbs!! Every time its been 1.5lbs so the extra pound was a great surprise! I've been walking my dog more often and for a little bit longer and could not believe it made that much of a difference! I go back after work today to get my measurements done b/c I didn't have time when I stopped in during my lunch hour. I really really want to be as close to 170 as possible for Halloween. I will post my measurements after I get them this afternoon!

dla and JSTUCKLY - you guys are doing great and you are huge inspiration!
