  • Hey Heather! Welcome to the challenge. Where are you going on your trip?
  • So excited! Just started day 2 of TO and already down 2 pounds!!! Can't argue with results like that! I have heard people say there is an alternative to the LA TO juice that is cheaper? What is it and where can I get it? Seeing the weight come off so fast keeps me so motivated!! Makes it easier to say no to my fiancee when he asks if we can go eat Mexican!!

  • ok...day two of take off! Doing well so far! I had a steak last night and some grilled shrimp. I eat lunch at 1030 so by dinner 730 I was starved! I usually have a snack but didn't yesterday. Gearing up for tomorrow! I am trying to decide when to drink my shake...not sure if breakfast or lunch would be better! I am off to plan a few menus for the rest of the week!

    Went to WI and was down 2.8 pounds!!! Doing TO yesterday and today...
    Now, tell me, do you guys usually stay down if you go to POP right after TO?
    I am nervous because this is the lowest I have been in three weeks of stalling!!
    Now..if I can figur out how to "fix" loss graph!

    Can you tell me exactly what I have to do for the challenge & what days to give up what thanks!

    It's two days of Take off and then 10 days you give up one protein and one starch and you have a meal replacement shake. Some of us are using Slim fast high protein or la weight loss meal replacements. Then you have two days regular on plan eating and then start the process over again!
  • 2nd day of TO ladies is going pretty good.I had tuna on slices of cucumber(pretend crackers,lol) very good!! FYI, I add a little onion and mayo to my 3 oz of tuna when I eat tuna on my TO days and it has never hurt my weight loss. I do the limited TO.It makes the tuna better than eating it plain.

    Great idea for pretend crackers...i bought some laughing cow cheese stuff and didn't want to use it until take off was over because I didn't have crackers! Next time I will know!

    Congrats on your 2.8 pounds -- that is great. I usually flatten out after TO and don't lose much more for a few days after I finish it, then it kicks in and I start losing again, even if I am POP. It's frustrating, but I think it's my body's way of readjusting the metabolism after TO. Good luck!

    I usually count it as a Dairy -- but I think you can count cheese as a Veg Protein --
  • ok a few questins about this challenge before i decide to join in...do you still use 2 of the bars a day?? and what are you using for take off the juice or oranges??What flavors are the best in the shakes??

  • Hey Jamie- If you usually do the bars, then yes, 2 bars. I am using cantaloupe for TO, but you could use juice or oranges too. The best shake to use is the Slim Fast Optima High Protein. I have bought the chocolate and coffee flavored ones, and they are both really good. The shake is used in place of 1 starch and 1 protein.
