I think that the shakes we should use are the Slim Fast Optima High Protein shakes...does anyone know for sure? They come in a 4-pack and are $4 something at Walmart. I bought the Optima 6-pack and when I got home I realized that they have 10g of protein and I remembered reading that the Slim Fast that someone (Deets?) found comparable were 15g of protein. So I took mine back and bought the High protein.

I just found the thread that asked about the shake replacement....it's on page 6 of the LAWL threads...called "Replacement for the Shakes". It is the high protein that you should get and it comes in a 4-pack. Just want to make sure we aren't skimping on our protein!

Yes, but the box is a little confusing because I think it is considered Optima High Protein, but it's just called High Protein...no Optima...and comes in a 4-pack.

Question. Is this something that LAWL does, or is it something that you all are doing? No one at my center has said anything. I've been doing pretty well just by staying OP, and I don't want to jeopardize my weight loss. Any input?

My center is doing it but it is $$$$. It seems when she told me about it you got your TO juice, slimdowns and and supplements for $280-$290--CRAZY when you can use knudsens and slimfast. Hope everyone does well.

my center thought it was a good challenge and they totally supported the way it was being done. Pixie girl #1 said it sounded like something LAWL was doing across the country.

They haven't said anything about it at my center either but then again that doesnt mean anything lol. Thanks for the info Tina I am gonna go ahead and keep these they are already in my fridge and i will just add a litte protein during the day but will get the correct shakes when i go back to get more lol. I also have some of the slimdowns to use also. Holly if you are doing fine and are happy with your progress then by all means keep doing what your doing. I think some of us are just trying to get a little extra push before summer gets here. Some of us are also getting back OP after taking a little "vacation" from the program and its just a good jumpstart. Any suggestions on what i should use as extra protein when I have the optima shakes that are not high protein?

Britt--how much more protein do you think you need? egg, peanut butter (my personal favorite but I have been restricted )--I guess just depends on what you need. I really was no help--haha.

No clue right off the top of my head. I just realized I never pay attention to the numbers--just the portion allowed. HUH. Better get that ticker right!
