Well day 4 of Alli and the second week of my "new lifestyle":) This is weigh in day for me and I have lost 6 pounds!!!!
I thought last weeks 4 pounds was good, but this makes me think the Alli is working. Like I said before, it keeps me honest!

I'm sure the weight loss will slow down (it always does). But for now I am excited!!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

pjbeau 06-28-2007 11:02 AM

Yeah for everybody! :carrot::carrot:

I'm still not losing, but I'm not giving up. I really think I may not be eating enough, so my body won't let go of anything. I managed to eat 1500 calories yesterday, but felt like I cheated or something.

Have a great day! ;)

preppieblonde 06-28-2007 11:16 AM

I started Monday. My boyfriend is doing it with me, so that's great support. i haven't experienced any "treatment effects" yet, but I've been keepig it very low-fat. Breakfast for me was a vanilla slimfast, snack a bag of lowfat popcorn. I'll have another slimfast for lunch and I haven't figured out what my snack is yet. Dinner tonight is grilled chicken, french green beans (frozen, sodium in the canned is awful for me!) and another veggie (prob squash). I've lost 8lbs, but I know the majority of that is because of water weight (I retain water like crazy!!). I also work out 45 min. a day, mainly jogging on the treadmill. I'm glad I found this board, it's much more vivacious and "real" compared to the alli one. Thanks guys!

Umagurl 06-28-2007 12:59 PM

I really like this forum. Everyone seems so lovely. So Day 2 of Alli. Going well. No Treatment Effects except feeling the need to go more, but I had ALOT of fibre yesterday! lol

It is keeping me honest. I am excited again. I gained a pound this morning, but my trainer thought it was probably the fibre. I went over my 1800 calories a bit but was way under on fat grams. Is that bad? I am very nervous of meats, like beef, chicken. They all have so much fat. Maybe I shouldn't even have that, Im scared to have anything that has high fat.

All in all I like it. It is stopping me from going next door for a chocolate bar!

jburress 06-28-2007 02:08 PM

My husband and I have been taking Alli since Monday. He was the one who wanted to try the Alli and we're sharing the starter pack. We have both taken Xenical and it worked for us. We haven't weighed, but I know we've lost weight because I've been cooking lowfat meals. We don't want any side effects. Been there, done that, not pleasant. My youngest niece called me Tuesday and asked me if I had heard of Alli. She wanted my advice about whether or not to buy it. She said her husband really wanted to try it. I told her to go for it, but watch out for high fat meals. She called me about an hour ago (to wish me Happy Anniversary - 21 years!) and said she had just bought her Alli at Sam's. That's were I got mine, but I had to drive 85 miles to get it.

balloonlady 06-28-2007 02:49 PM

I finished my first week and I'm down 3lbs! Not much in the grand scheme of things, but considering I didn't exercise at all, I"m thrilled. All I did do was moniter every bit of food that came near my mouth for fat content. No TEs either. I was worried a couple of times, but the worst I got was gas - which I tend to get anyway, so I don't consider it a TE.

We all understand this is a tool and not a miracle drug. It certainly makes me stop and think before I eat something.

I told EVERYONE. I'm not the best secret keeper in the world.:dizzy: When friend invited me for ice cream I said "no thanks, I'm taking alli and I don't want to embarrass myself in public." When lady trashed it at the store I said "Works for me since I didn't come with will power pre-installed."

Day 4

Well today, Thursday, is day 4 for me. I am doing pretty good. I know I can easily manage my daytime fat intake. My breakfast is usually around 5 grams, then lunch is around 8 grams, 2 snacks at 1-2 grams each. But man it is harder for me at dinner time. I am working on it, I am really trying to stay between 10-20 grams. I am down 2lbs for this week so far so that is good. I also have been drinking 70+ ounces of water per day.
I know that for me personally I think that this pill has helped remind me more than anything else that I need to pay attention to what I am eating! I mean I know it is helping in the way it is supposed to work, but it is helping me remember to choose foods that are low in fat/calories also. So, for me, it is both the medicine doing its job and remembering to make better choices.

I posted back in my introduction that sadly I am back here, but it is good and bad. I personally get to goal and think "finally, I can eat what I want to again since I am at goal weight". But then the weight starts to sneak on. I need to make a mental commitment that 90% of the time I eat extremely sensibly and then allow the 10% to have special foods. If I can keep that in the front of my mind rather than pushing it to the back (like I always do!) I will be super.

galengail 06-28-2007 05:48 PM

I'm really happy to hear about all of you who have lost weight during your first few days or week of Alli! Congratulations to everyone! I'm only on my second day, but I haven't had any TEs. I log everything into the Alli website (exercise and food), and that makes me more likely to stick to my plan. If I'm not accountable to anyone or anything (even if it is just a computer screen), then I'm less likely to stick to it. I've avoided the scale thus far so I can be surprised when I weigh in on the 4th. I desperately want to be under 230, so hopefully the accountability that comes with the pills will help me accomplish that.

prinny 06-28-2007 06:12 PM

I got so frustrated with it I decided to test it. I was very bad and had a fatty meal while taking it... no treatment effects AT ALL. I think I'm just immune to it or something. Bleh.

I'm going to keep using it till I run out, I paid for them might as well. Maybe I'll get some results if I am patient.

ThinGirl in FatBody 06-28-2007 06:28 PM

Hi prinny, how much fat was in your meal?

tkt117 06-28-2007 06:49 PM

LOL... Baloonlady... I am going to use that one next time! :)

PJbeau... it may just take a while for your body to kick in. I remember when I did sb with a friend, she lost 5 pounds the first week. I was faithful and lost nothing... the next week I lost 7 pounds. Sometimes it just takes a while.

So I got on the scale this morning... and my jaw dropped to the floor. In eleven days I have lost 8 pounds. I was so excited, I went running out of the bathroom and told dh and ds... anyone who listen got an earful!

Good Luck ladies! Keep your heads up, your loss will come soon! :)

Umagurl 06-28-2007 09:57 PM

Bummed

So I have a weight loss blog and some girl today commented this:

It blocks fat absorption, right? But only if you are eating fatty stuff? So if you are eating the diet they recommend, what does the Alli do and why do you need it? Is it just like “oh, I have to eat this way so that I don’t crap my pants?”

Seems like a big unhealthy marketing scam to me, and a way to either prevent yourself from eating bad foods, or to be able to “cheat” and still eat it without absorbing the calories.

So really it bummed me out, cause thats exactly why i like it, cause if I eat something, I will have a TE. She just made it sound so bad.

But whatever works right???

Phoenix32203 06-28-2007 10:16 PM

It is SO nice to see this thread!!!!

Hi everyone,
I started alli Thursday the 21st. My first check in is Sunday, but I have been sneaking on to the scale and it looks pretty good so far! No te's or headaches, but I did start my period day 3 (many people have been starting day 3 or 4--there's a whole thread on the alli boards). I have felt really good and have suddenly developed stellar willpower. I even walked away from a chocolate cake with the other day without even sampling the frosting. I'd just taken my pill so I knew it would've gotten ugly.

The message boards on the alli site are just horrible--I wish there was some way to let eveyone know about the thread here. It is so frustrating and disheartening to post and have to wait for 2-3 days for any support or encouragement--esp. if you are having a crisis. It's enough to make a person WANT to binge. :(

It sounds like many of you are having good experiences so far. I really like the menus that they offer and have had fun planning things out and shopping. I've even started trying new recipes. It's like my whole lifestyle is changing for the better.

What eating plans are most of you following? Is anyone else using the alli menu plans?
Julie
I love the dancing carrot! Go baby go!:carrot:

Sakai 06-28-2007 10:19 PM

Umagurl- I tend to think of Alli as not only a way to keep us honest, but it sort of like training. Suddenly we are thinking twice about what we eat, looking at fat grams and such. I brought my Alli when it first came out (like the very first day @_@ ) but I didn't take it for a week and half. Why? because if all you have to do is eat low fat (under 15 grams per meal) then I was like... heck.. I can do that. So I did. I lost 3 pounds in 1 week without the alli.

But now I'm on Alli and I know that I will lose even more.
Don't let what someone said make you feel bad. If it works... then why not take it eh?

I haven't had any treatment effects so far (I'm on my third day) But I'm being very careful whis that I eat. Also, I don't take the pill unless what I'm eating has more than 5 grams of fat.
I'm thinking I should take it no matter how little fat is has.

Phoenix32203 06-28-2007 10:29 PM

Why are the IGNORANT always so verbal?

No wonder no one wants to tell other people they are taking alli. People, negative, ignorant, rhymes-with-witchy people are just being so horrible. If she's not interested in taking it, she doesn't have to. But why bash you or make you feel bad for a using something that is working for you? On the Alli site, people are all talking about the beatings they have taken on the Weight Watchers board. They don't even feel welcome there, and many are saying they are experiencing the same thing in meetings.
I guess the best defense and the best revenge is results. People aren't just taking alli because it "enhances" your willpower through fear. It's also a great program because it will help you lose weight faster by trapping the fat while it FORCES you to eat a low fat diet. So while that "sweetheart" is spending all her energy spewing her ugliness on other people's blogs, you will be losing 50% faster than her. (insert evil laugh here)

alli & headache

Hello,

I just began taking alli on Monday 6/25. Since then I have had a headache after I eat and take alli :p. I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing a headache and if so what they have done about it.

Think of it this way. If you and that blog girl are both on a diet eating 20 grams of fat a day, at the end of the week you have both had 140grams of fat. But you on Alli, have not absorbed anywhere near as much as blog girl. Even though you both ate low fat all week, the person on Alli would have a lower overall intake and that produces better results. :)

cygnss 06-28-2007 11:19 PM

Hi Umagirl - I too agree with you about the alli board. I had never been to this site before & just typed in alli and weight watchers with this site coming up! Hopefully others will do the same.

Off the subject - where did you get your phoenix symbol? I like that - makes me think of Harry Potter!

About Me: St. Louis, Missouri age 51 surgical menopause & I stopped hormones a couple of months ago. Started alli 6/26, so it's only been a few days. I had a headache the first two days and a slight one today - but it's gone now. And it's NOT due to lack of caffeine or water.

I am very determined this time to lose the weight I've gained the past 7 years due to my taking care of my elderly father. He's not overweight - just a tall, 6'4/220man. Anyway, he has parkinson's disease & was in an accident in April where it left him unable to walk or move on his own. IT WAS SO HARD to lift him into a wheel chair, get him into bed, help him to the bathroom - that I started thinking what will my kids do when I'm old and I need help moving around. I don't want to be so overweight that they end up putting me in a nursing home because they can't lift or care for me. And I honestly think that my husband would attempt to help for awhile but not long term. I think women tend to be more of a caregiver. Hopefully, I will lose my weight, be healthier, look good (lol), and be that young feeling person that I know is begging to come out. Bright side - the doctor did put my dad in a convalescent home, he's home & is now able to walk with a walker. My Mom can assist with his daily needs unless he falls. BUT I am still very determined & will lose my weight to make me feel better all around. ~~ethel

tkt117 06-28-2007 11:26 PM

Umagirl... when I was posting on an alli thread on a different category I got the SAME reaction. In fact, what you read back to us sounded exactly like one girl that was really negative and almost belligerent about it... Blow her off... it is working for so many people! :D

I consider myself a "professional" dieter. I could be a dietician I have so much info and stats in my head, but I have never been able to successfully lose weight. Alli is just another tool in my arsenal... if she can do it the old fashioned way with will power... good for her. But some of us need a little help and there is nothing wrong with that.

Personally, I think the alli folks are brilliant. While their message boards are awful... the rest of their website is actually helpfull. They are HONESTLY trying to help people lose weight and instill good eating habits. KUDOS to them and KUDOS to you for taking some action! :carrot:

Beecar... unfortunatly the headache does seem to be a side effect for the first few days while your body adjusts. Many of us here had headaches, but they have since disappeared. According to the alli people, it is because you have changed your eating habits. (I don't really buy that... I think it is our body getting used to the drug.) But I started taking my multi vitamin and it helped!

Good Luck!

cygnss 06-28-2007 11:31 PM

OK, so I completely replied back to the wrong person. I was responding to PHOENIX32203. Sorry, UMAGIRL! And I signed ethel instead of sheila because I thought I signed up under Ethel (as in Lucy & Ethel)!

boo77 06-29-2007 12:25 AM

Have you cut down on caffeine since you started? That could cause headaches as well (withdrawal).

Steelslady 06-29-2007 12:27 AM

I'm on day three myself. I'll let you know if I lost any weight on day seven. :carrot:

I'm VERY shocked at my lack of appetite or need for sweets. I follow a calorie diet, and always make sure they're added in before my daily calories are used up. However, the last two days, I've had to force myself to eat the other half of my calories. This is bizarre in itself, with my love of eating.

I feel great, though! I exercised on my recumbrant bike for 35 minutes and swam around the lake in my backyard for 50 minutes tonight. I didn't want to get out of the lake, as I was having so much fun, but it was getting dark out and I was by myself. :o

Steelslady 06-29-2007 12:43 AM

I must say to some of you- you need to keep your chins UP and stop worrying about what others think! Don't drive yourself crazy over this- so long as it helps, and is healthy, who cares?

I couldn't give a rat's monkey arse if anyone sees me buy it and disapproves. At least I am trying to do something to improve my health. To be honest with you, when I am shopping, I am pretty oblivious to what other people are doing anyway because I have too much on my mind on what I have to buy and what I'm going to prepare for dinner so I don't get the orange hershey squirts in my undies. :D

Let em balk, I say. So long as this has no negative side effects or does nothing to harm our health, buy away!

Then again, I am still a 12 year old girl in a 43 year old woman's body. I ordered online weighted hoola hoops for my daughters and I last night, can't wait to get them. I'm also getting a jumprope for us to play outside, like we did last year. I have to get a few more bouncy balls, as my Yorkie bit our last ball last night, and it obviously deflated. My son, the dog (no word of lie, he thinks he's human!), and I played volleyball in the lake last night, it was a blast! Unfortunately, I didn't get the ball fast enough when we came out of the water for the night, and the doggie killed the ball.

Just have fun with the weight loss, no matter how you do it!

YummyMummy77 06-29-2007 01:12 AM

Some of you ladies mention that you have to go more frequently. I'm starting a new job on Monday and afraid I'll have to be in the bathroom all the time. I don't want to be known as the new girl who's pooping all the time. :)

How frequent is freqent? Is it a gotta go NOW kind of frequent? I've read some reviews of users who've had no control over the oil leaking from their behind but it doesn't seem as though any of you ladies are experiencing any of those effects. I'm sure it's because some people aren't following the low-fat plan that is required.

Thanks for your feedback.

Ethereal 06-29-2007 03:18 AM

I haven't tried alli yet, YummyMummy, but I want to! I just wanted to wish you welcome and luck with the new job. :)

In regards to alli, these are my thoughts and questions:

So alli blocks about a quarter of the fat (and therefore a quarter of the calories FROM fat) consumed from being absorbed; doesn't that mean you will need to eat more calories to compensate, so your body won't go into "starvation mode?" Is that why the calorie counts on alli's diet plans seem so high? If so, is there any point to taking alli if you're already cutting your calories by a "sensible" amount - not so low as to starve your body, and to allow gradual calorie reduction as your weight comes off? I'm seeing some sensational results from those kindly posting their experiences in this thread, but I'm wondering if it's any more effective than cutting a few hundred calories from your diet by your own means, and if the results are any different?

I think I must be missing something, here, and I've gone over all of the information on the site a couple of times.

If what I'm thinking is true, some folks who are continuing with very low-cal diets while taking alli may either experience a ton of weightloss (you're cutting even more calories than before!) or none at all, because your body is getting too few calories and is desperately conserving.

I'd also be very interested in hearing if the weight continues to come off at a turbo rate for those who are losing 3+ pounds per week. Why? Because I'm wondering if the first few days - or even weeks - aren't shedding some extra water and "whatnot" due to alli almost being a mild diuretic/laxative.

It sounds like it's working surprisingly well when coupled with sensible eating and exercise, and I very much want to try alli, but I just need to be convinced! Thoughts?

MelissaR 06-29-2007 04:06 AM

Buying Alli Tomorrow

I'm going to start this tomorrow. I am going to combine it with the WW that I am currently doing. I am trying to lost at least 10lbs before my husband comes home from his 6 month TDY (which is in about 1 1/2 months) Ill let you all know how it goes... Im going to read some more of all of your experinces.

Phoenix32203 06-29-2007 09:05 AM

It is really working!

Yummymummy: I am down 10 pounds in a week and I haven't been hungry at all. I really don't think the calorie limits are all that low--I've been doing 1600-1800 a day. I feel really satisfied and have so far had great results--can't beat that with a stick. On top of it all, no side effects. I guess I have to say another reason it really has worked for me so far is that, right or wrong, it completely removes (for me) that chance I will slip because it there is no way that binge will go unnoticed. I even passed up pepperoni pizza last nite, and I am DA QUEEN of pepperoni pizza. Hope this helps.

Cygnss: (Ethel--HA!) I found it at google.com images by typing in phoenix. There are pages and pages of anything you are looking for there. Good luck!

ttk117: I saw the posts on the other thread. I just wonder what the point is of those kinds of comments, other than to embarrass people and put them down. This is something that is working, it's a choice we've made. It's ok to voice your opinion I guess, but I don't understand the vicious nature of the posts. I agree with you, though, the alli people are great, and the rest of the site is awesome. I just wish they'd fix those boards. AAAARGH!

Steelslady--Nice to meet you! I too am a 12 year-old girl in an older body! Love that sidewalk chalk.

Have a great day!
Julie

katallan 06-29-2007 09:49 AM

"Works for me since I didn't come with will power pre-installed." I loved this one ballon lady! I will definitely have to remember that one!

It seems all of us are having to deal with the "nay-sayers".:?: And the questions of "why take it if you are doing the low fat diet".

Well the reason I am taking this is because I cannot do this by myself. I need some help! As I said before, it keeps me honest. I am conscious of what I put in my mouth instead of eating handfuls of potato chips and then going "I can't believe I ate the whole bag!". Plus it is re-enforcing all of those healthy habits I need to have to maintain a healthy lifestyle once I shed some of this weight! If I do it enough, it should become habit:carrot:

Anyway, it is working for me, and I had more weight loss with it than without it. And I think that is all that matters.

cygnss 06-29-2007 09:49 AM

Hi YummyMummy77 - I have been taking alli for 4 days. I have had no treatment effects. I stay within my calories and fat limits & there have been no problems. Just remember according to the alli site that your treatment effects come out 24-48 hours after you eat over your designated fat/cal allowance. I eat anything I want, just smaller portions or not together. Last night I had spaghetti & meatsauce and a salad with all the trimmings (FF cheddar cheese & FF Italian dressing). I measured & made sure I was within my limits. I follow weight watchers guidelines. I do drink a lot of water - which is normal for me - and run to the bathroom for that reason. But if you're younger you can probably hold it longer than me:) A lot of people have no treatment effects unless they go over & I'm not planning on that!
I have been told by alli that if you know you are going to a special occasion such as a wedding watch your diet very carefully 2 days BEFORE you go. Hope that helps. ~~sheila

ThinGirl in FatBody 06-29-2007 10:23 AM

Hi everyone :)

I told you I ordered Alli from the States (I am in Canada) because we don't have it here yet. Well, according to the tracking # - my shipment has been stuck in Canada Customs for 2 days :(

I hope they release it soon - and not confiscate it or something :o

StillTryin 06-29-2007 10:55 AM

Well I noticed last night that after 4 days on Alli that one I finally go more regularly (which is nice) but when I do, there is oil spots in the toilet. I have not had any spotting or anything, it is just when I use the toilet. I am VERY good all day, but then maybe not as good in the evening. So that is my goal to work on for this next week.

tkt117 06-29-2007 11:01 AM

Ethereal... if you can follow a low fat diet and have success, then you probably don't need to take alli. I take it because I am really good at following a plan and then I cheat... I can't cheat on alli. And the CRAZY thing is, I have no desire to cheat. For some reason talking about "oily gas" has a real effect on my appetite! I look at a cheeseburger in a whole different light. ;)

Good Luck!

pjbeau 06-29-2007 12:46 PM

Good morning, losers! ;)

This board is really picking up, yeah, more support for each of us.

As for my status, well, it hasn’t changed…still no loss. Sorry, if I offend anyone, but WTF??? :dunno:

Preppieblonde & jburress – I think it’s great you have your DB and DH doing the plan with you. My DH isn’t taking the pills, but he has been on the diet with me. Of course, as is typical, he has lost 28lbs to my 8. It does make meal planning a lot easier, as well as making good choices when you go out.

Balloonlady – I like your attitude!! :dancer:

Prinny – I am starting to feel the same as you, and am thinking of “testing” my boundries this weekend. I actually think I would get excited if I had a TE…am I crazy!

Umagurl – Don’t listen to that blog girl. It’s just another opinion from someone who really doesn’t have any experience or knowledge. This is a personal choice for each of us, other people’s opinions don’t really factor in.

Sheila – :welcome2: I understand your worry about being taken care of as seniors. My mom is overweight and I really worry that I won’t be able to take care of her, and she is very opposed of going to a nursing home. When the time comes, I will probably have to bring help in.

Steelslady – :welcome: :rofl: Hershey squirts!!! I just scared my cubemates because I busted out laughing. Thanks for the grins.

YummyMummy – Don’t worry about your new coworkers, they don’t know what you are doing in there…you could just be obsessively checking your make-up for all they know. ;)

Ethereal – :welcome3: You may have something with needing to eat more calories, I’m not sure. I started Alli 7 days ago, but I continue following my LAWL food plan. My plan has me eating 1200 cals a day, where Alli says I need 1600. So far, I haven’t lost any weight, so maybe I need to up my calories and see if it works.

:welcome2: to Julie, Beecar, and MelissaR.

 Shout outs to StillTryin, Galengirl, Tkt117, Sakai, Katallan, and Thingirl (hope you get your pills)!

Have a great day everyone!! :dust:

Steelslady 06-29-2007 01:14 PM

pjbeau and Phoenix32203- nice to meet you both and thanks for the welcome. :) Glad I could make you smile, we need to have a sense of humor to get through some not so pleasant times. :D I'll always be young at heart- I live on a dirt road, so I can't draw on the pavement with the sidewalk chalk, but I do have a paved driveway- maybe I'll make a hop scotch and play with my youngest daughter.

I started Alli at 276 pounds. I was 274 pounds before I went to another state for a wedding, and ended up gaining back two pounds. I believe those were water pounds, but I can't say for sure, as they did not come off the first two days with Alli, and this is now my fourth day.

I've changed my weight loss progress on the side of my profile to reflect my Alli starting weight. I started Alli on Tuesday, June 26th.

I couldn't wait until Tuesday to weigh myself. I've lost 6 pounds since taking Alli. Like I said above, two of those pounds could be water weight I gained from my trip, but four more pounds on top of that- yippee!!!!!! :carrot:

My presentation

The presentation went well and so did the food. I ate a fruit bar as I was driving to curb the hunger and I had fruit and water when i was done with the presentation. I passed on the cakes and coffee. I didn't want to be in the bathroom. :D It didn't even bother me to pass them up and I'm a junk food junkie - bit not now. My mindset is totally different. For lunch we went to the steak house and I go the buffet. I filled myself up on the salad bar and had one small piece of salsbury steak and gravy, sweet potatos and like a tsp of mac and cheese. I did have some soy ice cream with m&m's for dessert. Dinner was a small steak and rice a roni, with peaches and 2 plops of whipped cream. After all that - I LOST 1 POUND! In one week on Alli, I've lost 3 pounds! :carrot:

I ***LOVE*** this stuff! And I haven't exercised - just doing stuff around the house. Tonight I'm going to take the wall paper in the kitchen down and prep the room for painting this weekend. Hot dog! I'm moving my butt and not on the sofa watching TV stuffing my face!

I have already budgeted (nice word, huh?) for my refill of Alli on July 15. Anyone know where I can buy the refills????? :?:

Ethereal... if you can follow a low fat diet and have success, then you probably don't need to take alli. I take it because I am really good at following a plan and then I cheat... I can't cheat on alli. And the CRAZY thing is, I have no desire to cheat. For some reason talking about "oily gas" has a real effect on my appetite! I look at a cheeseburger in a whole different light. ;)

That part I absolutely understand. It's great hearing what willpower this plan has been imparting on the participants so far, and I agree it's almost worthwhile for that alone! Thanks for the reponse. :D

Thank you also, Paula, for the warm welcome. Can't wait to hear if alli starts working for you, as I'm pretty sure I'd be a slow loser, too!

Great post; so far it sounds like alli is really exciting for everyone. Keep us updated!

Weird! so what are you eating every day? give us a sample day? I am inclined to think if you didn't lose anything, then Alli prevented you from gaining. Maybe without Alli you would be up a pound or two? :?:

Okay, Thingirl, here is my last three days. Let me preface this by saying that I am an extremely picky eater, so variety is not my strong point. I'm trying to work on that.

Tell me what you think--
Tue
B – Slimfast Optima shake
S – small banana
L – Hamburger patty (extra-lean); ½ cucumber; Luna Nutrition Bar; 6oz light yogurt
S – 15 seedless white grapes
D – 2 eggs; 1 sausage link; 2 toast w/light marg.
S – 2 cups watermelon

Wed
B – Slimfast Optima shake
S – Luna Nutrition Bar
L – 2 cups lettuce w/FF dressing; ½ cucumber; 15 seedless white grapes; 6oz light yogurt
S – 6 baby carrots
D – 2 soft tacos (made with extra-lean meat & used FF tortillas); ½ cup Mexican rice; 1 cup mandarin orange slices

Thu
B – Slimfast Optima shake
S – ½ cup unsweetened applesauce; 3 pieces Melba toast
L – 2 cups lettuce w/FF dressing; Lean Pocket; 2 Laughing Cow light swiss wedges; Luna Nutrition Bar
S – 1 cup mandarin orange slices
D – Baked boneless skinless chicken breast; 1.5 cups steamed green beans; 6oz light yogurt

To me it seems that even if I hadn't taken Alli, I should have lost something, unless I'm actually not eating enough. Maybe the fact that I am still not "regular" is affecting my progress too.
