I also have my weigh in tomorrow - that will be 28 days since I began this journey - fingers crossed for a good loss this week -- will share results tomorrow!

Default Starting week 6 on Ideal Protein

I'm very happy on the IP diet but I have been experiencing excessive hair loss. It started about a week into diet and is not slowing down. My blood work shows no health reason for hair loss. If it does not stop I'm worried I. At have to stop diet

Has anyone experienced this problem? Any help you can give me?

You might try adding some biotin to your supplements, my clinic recommended that to avoid hair loss. I am not an expert by any means, but I was told it has less to do with the diet and more to do with changes to your metabolism that would happen on any diet. I do know some people had hair loss on the boards a while a go- searching through might turn up a better explanation .

Tomorrow is my 1st official weigh in. Having a lot of nausea & not sleeping well these past few days so not sure how that will affect #s. Good luck everyone!

Just got done with my week 4 weigh in. I'm down another 4lbs, for a total of 15lbs lost in 4 weeks. My coach said that I'm doing great. She was really impressed with this week's loss.

Also, what I'm actually excited about - I had my first NSV! Put on a coat that I love but which has been too tight around my rib cage for a couple years now (been wearing it anyway cause it's a great coat), and it fits again! So pleased, as this is the first thing I've noticed any difference in. I was staring to think the scale was lying!

terrific! Nothing like those NSV's - they do make the whole thing seem real, don't they?

I had meant to reboot last week, but a migraine derailed that plan. Day 1 for me today and I am looking forward to detoxing from my sugar addiction and feeling great again! Have a great OP day everyone

Hello!

I am new to this forum. I am going into my 4th week & I have only lost 9 pounds. I am following the diet & have not cheated. I was hoping to see faster results, although 9 lbs is great, can someone assure me that I am heading on the right path.

Successfully made it through Day 1!!!

MeSoHungry, we always want faster losses. I even joked to my DH yesterday evening asking if I looked slimmer after one day! Everyone loses at different rates, and averaging between 2-2.5 over your entire weight loss journey is generally what you will see. Some weeks will be more than others and some will show nothing on the scale but lots in inches lost. I'm rebooting and only in day 2, but when I originally lost 50lbs I think my overall weight loss was about 2.2 a week and every third week showed zero loss on the scale but down in inches. I think I lost 15lbs the first 4 weeks. You are doing great, just stick to the plan and you'll get there.
