Yes, they taste very much like bran flakes. But remember they're restricted so if you have that for breakfast you can't have a bar, wafer, puffs, etc. later in the day.
4th weigh in and another 3 pounds down for a grand total of 17 pounds in 4 weeks. That's the best I have ever done on a diet!! It keeps getting easier for me too. I know what I like now and I get so much support and guidance from these boards! Thanks all!
Thanks for your reply.. like you I am a creature of habit too, I just find it easier and when I find something I like I stick with it.. my meals are similiar to yours except that i now make the omelet in the morning and take to work for lunch, shake for breakfast..
Hi Clarington ... you mention you make the omelette in the morning and take for lunch ... does this mean it turns out ok re-heating in a microwave at lunch?
I am doing the same things every day and also need a shake up so this is an idea I'd like to try. Trying to add some "savory".

Im totally ok with then being restricted as long as I can have cereal again, I hated the "rice cereal" so I shall give these a try!
So I have been on IP for 5 weeks, and am down ~23 pounds. I have been spinning, and feel ready to lift weights, even though my coach frowns at me. I feel like my skin is really loose! Anyone else goig through this?

Your coach frowns at you b/c weight lifting will probably slow down the scale. It won't slow down the FAT LOSS tho so it is completely up to you. Just keep it no more than moderate intensity.
As soon as I can heal my back pain, I'll be spinning with you! I love the endorphin rush from that!
Thanks, Lisa, I have totally enjoyed my 3x weekly spins. i tried Body Pump with very light weights and loved it. I have always been very strong, and am feeling kind of weak on this program, but I do like how my body is shrinking almost daily!
Yes, it seems to reheat just fine and when I pour walden farm syrup on it I am not sure it would matter lol it tastes good...

Avalon I have to go back about 30 years to find a picture of myself at my goal weight!
It's amazing how fast the years fly by, huh. And it's definitely harder to keep ones weight down as you get older. I was pretty skinny until I hit age 35 or so. I have been the classic yo-yo dieter for the past 20 years. Hopefully the IP diet will be my last one!
Good morning! I have my first restaurant challenge tonight. I looked at the menu on line and texted my coach for advice so I feel ready! I have WF salad dressing in my purse and a few packets of Crystal Light lemonaide so I can pretend my iced tea is something more!
My 4th WI is tomorrow so I am excited to see the results. I know I am due for a disappointing week one of these days -- or maybe not since I've been 100% . . . I'm still having trouble accepting how well IP works!
I'm selling at the Austin Bead Society Bead Bazaar this weekend so that will also be a challenge, although not too bad. It's just going to a couple of long stretches without anywhere to prep food so I'll have to get by with pre-mixed items for lunch. The concessions never have anything healthy . . . hopefully they will at least have ice so I can keep my water cold!
Guess I should put in a plug -- if you are in the Austin area, come see us at the Travis County Expo Center this weekend!
