Not too tasty in its own but I make a Snickers Bar shake with it. I put a chocolate or vanilla RTD in the blender with ice and add dollops of WF chocolate and caramel sauces plus a dollop of the PB spread. Blend it up,and I swear it tastes like a Snickers bar! I add 2 cups of spinich which can't be tasted at all and get half my veggies in this delicious shake at the same time. So yummy!!!

Happy to report WI 4. Down 4 lbs! Yay! Even better than what I was expecting! AND that put me (barely) below the 200 mark!! My pessimism (or maybe realism!) is waiting for a slowdown anytime, but I was very happy today!

Oops sorry for incomplete info.. For hot drink, yes mix up cappuccino in shaker .. Add k-cup coffee then transfer into microwave latte sized mug.. Add instant coffee to more hot water (I use a few tsps to about 2-3 more oz.) and add that and stir... Then heat slowly stirring at least twice. The protein will coagulate if it gets too hot too fast. (You don't want that!)

If I'm blending it with ice.. I have been known to put it all straight into the waring.. And flip the switch! No issues in doing the cold variety that way.

Welcome to onderland
One of the gals I lost the bulk of my weight with lost pretty steadily most of the time and hardly had any slowdowns. Each body works differently. (She is fabulous so I couldn't hate her )

I wasn't expecting it, either! And since we use the old standing "balance" type scale at my clinic, I got the experience of my coach having to move the balance from the '200' slot to the '150' slot to get my weight! NOW I have the fear that next time she'll have to move it BACK to the '200' slot! Oh the dirty tricks our minds play! Again, old habits (and self-sabotaging thoughts) die hard! But thanks for the congrats! And you'll be there before you know it -- then NO LOOKING BACK!

I noticed this morning we already have 450+ posts on our Auguster's thread! I feel like a proud mother (I only take credit for 'birthing' the original thread, but everyone on here has kept it going and kept it dynamic and interesting!!). Since I think I've read where there is a risk of it shutting down at 500 posts, I will plan to start a new Auguster thread tomorrow.

Have a ONEDERFUL weekend everyone!! We are all doing GREAT!!

Great visual with that standing scale, I can just imagine how you felt, well done!

I'm down 2.5 this week, and it was TOM so I am very pleased. Would really like a 3 or 4 pound loss on every non TOM week, so we'll see. My cycle is every 25 days so I have to deal with the bloat and cramping more often than my friends who go every 30 days or more, but I'm happy with my losses thus far!

Love this August thread, thanks for "birthing" it!

My first WI this morning, 3.6 lbs, and gained a % of fat! I'm crushed, especially since according to my scales, I've lost 5.1. I know, I know, I ate this morning before WI w/coach, I started the diet day after my WI with the coach - and had a lot to eat the day before, but still I'm really upset. I wanted to do this program because other weight loss programs - Weight Watchers, Atkins, etc - have always been soooo SLOW for me and I thought with IP it would be different. But if week one is the week you lose the most, and I've only lost 3.6 lbs, I just feel like this is going to be like every other diet - excruciatingly slow to the point where I crawl to a stop. And I don't know if I can bear it guys, really. Any words please?

Hi, I'm still here. Was MIA the last two weeks dealing with unexpected death of my father. It's been an emotional few weeks but I managed to stay OP and lost 3 lbs in both 3rd&4th weeks for a total of 17lbs in first month on IP! This week has been a little less energy and I need to focus on getting all my veggies in a day. I'll be looking thru the recipe posts a bit later.

I see so many are doing well after the first month - congrats!

Oh Kalii
I'm so sorry
I lost my dad 3 years ago unexpectedly after a tragic accident.
I know that pain well. Recovery from it helped to get me to my top weight

Remember:if hunger isn't the problem, food isn't the answer, no matter how soothing the temporary fix might sound

I KNOW our dads would want us to be healthy and happy!
