    I started on Aug 27th. Getting through Labor Day weekend without cheating was a nightmare!

    Starting Weight 323 Lost 5/6/3.

    I have been cheating with Fat Free Half and Half. I am huge coffee lover and Fat Free milk in my coffee just does not work for me. I feel like I am giving up so many of my favorite foods that my coffee habit needs to stay.

    Any suggestions?

    My coach told me to use the Vanilla RTD - it seems to keep ok in the fridge for the week or so it takes to use a whole box.
    It does seem to settle to the bottom of the cup more so than a creamer so you may want to keep stirring/swirling your coffee as you drink.
    It works for me and keeps me 100% OP.

    My 4th WI is tomorrow so I am excited to see the results. I know I am due for a disappointing week one of these days -- or maybe not since I've been 100% . . . I'm still having trouble accepting how well IP works!

    I'm selling at the Austin Bead Society Bead Bazaar this weekend so that will also be a challenge, although not too bad. It's just going to a couple of long stretches without anywhere to prep food so I'll have to get by with pre-mixed items for lunch. The concessions never have anything healthy . . . hopefully they will at least have ice so I can keep my water cold!

    Guess I should put in a plug -- if you are in the Austin area, come see us at the Travis County Expo Center this weekend!

  • Hi everyone, day 4, starving, wanted to eat the wallpaper yesterday! I split a bag of the SW curls -1/2 between breakfast and lunch, and 1/2 between lunch and dinner. had dinner at 7 and them a packet at 9:30 but went to bed at 11:30 with a grumbly stomach! Is this normal?

    Good morning everyone. I love to use my cappuccino drink with my morning coffee. Really look forward to my coffee during the week.

    For a coffee treat ... what I do is I use a heaping teaspoon (I bet you could even go 2) of IP Chocolate Drink in my morning coffee. It gives the coffee a rich taste and gives a kick of protein. I also put in about a half teaspoon of Saigon Cinnamon (which is very kicky and hot and actually gives a sweet after taste). I also use 2 stevia packets and a 1/4 cup of fat free milk. With all that my coffee is almost like a mini meal! Very rich tasting ... wonderful!
  • Going in for weigh I. Tomorrow. I derailed a bit this weekend with alcohol so I'm not expecting a loss. How's everyone esle doing?
  • Well, I made it through my first restaurant outing with no problems. But I didn't get in all my water during the day today so I'm busy drinking up now!

  • Had an amazing week last week. Saturday was the end of week 5 for me and my weigh in I was down 23.5 pounds and 18 inches. Feeling great too. Monday rolled around and I was still at the same weight... tuesday I actually went up almost a pound and 1/2 . Today im 1/2 a pound below my weigh on Saturday. Ive been 100% op and weigh myself at the same time everyday right after I wake up and use the bathroom. Im wondering if the stall in loss this week is from the monthly curse... my energy ive been enjoying is gone :/ has anyone else had similar issues?

  • Morning all - wk 4 weigh in for me today and had a 3.2 loss (with alternatives) for a total loss of 14 lbs.. so I am happy.. now 50 more to go.. 1 week at a time is how I am taking it

    This can definitely be an effect of TOM. This is water weight gain as its impossible to put on a pound and a half of fat overnight. I'm a weigh myself every day person myself but mostly because I'm fascinated by how the scale moves while I am on IP, which I'm doing myself using alternatives. I expect the weight fluctuations especially while on TOM, and it doesn't bother me. Don't let it bother you and if it does stay off the scale!!!!

    Good Luck!! I don't weigh at home either, so the weigh ins are a surprise. I FEEL like I've lost a good amount this week, but we'll have to see what the scale shows tomorrow. For sure my clothes are looser!

    I have had the same issue all this week and I am just standing TOUGH! We all know deep down that the scale does NOT really represent what we may have done the day before. Sometimes, I bet it even goes DOWN big time when there is no explanation, so one must accept that the reverse of that is true.

    So, if you know in your heart of hearts that you have been completely on the program, hang in there because this is TOO important to give up. No cheats, no slides, no little 'oops', no just little bites - stay on the program and the weight will come off, just not necessarily in the pattern we expect.

    We can do this together, so when these strange ups or stalls happen, march on resolutely.
