UGH! I SHOULDN'T HAVE GOTTEN ON THE SCALE!!! I am on day 6 of strict phase 1 and I was positive I would be down at least a lb or two. NOPE.
I am so discouraged. I know if I stick to it eventually I will lose weight, but not losing any weight after 5 difficult days makes me question everything. BOO!

Sara, that's awesome that you've made it six strict P1 days! Now that you've made it that long, what's another few days right? Get through this weekend and I'm sure the scale will start moving for you!

Thanks for the encouragement!! I managed to make it through the day without cheating despite all the Easter candy by husband has been eating....
Not going to get back on the scale until next week. Just going to focus on continuing to stay 100% phase 1.
Anyhoo, HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Good morning Rebooters, Well, I'm back in the saddle to join you today. Day 1 and need to lose about 20, well really 25 but that # seems so HIGH! LOL
I was in Ireland from 03/06 - 03/23. I ate 50% good...when I got back I stayed off plan as I knew Easter was right around the corner and figured I'd start the day after Easter...And here it is!
Stay strong ladies! (Advice I need)!

Thanks Lexi! I did have a great trip. The weather was unusually cold for Ireland. We had hail, lots of rain and snow. There was even a snow squall one day..brrrrrrrrrrrrr...The pubs were warms!
It's good to be back and I'm happy to see some familiar folks on here! <3

I took a big step. I updated my weight to show where I am. When I've done reboots in the past I've always been to embarrassed to admit how much I've gained. I also updated my goal from 160 - 165. I think I was too skinny at 160 and was super happy at 165. But maybe as I get closer I'll switch to 160. For now I'm content with 165.

Welcome back New Englander!!! Always nice to see an old familiar face!
I took that "big step" too lol! It was a sad moment to see that number move in the wrong direction (gained 30 back)! Grrr! . But no worries, we all know what to do!!!
You will have those extra pounds off in no time!! My goal is 165, but now I'm worried I won't even get there!! Those last ten are such a b$&@)!!!!!
Oh well, one day at a time is all I can think about!!!
Just got back from my WI. Down one. Ok, a loss is a loss. I'm up from yesterday.....hoping it was sodium from the ham and that tmr I will be lighter lol!
Welcome back NE!! And Happy April to ALL!!!!

Morning! Hope everyone had a good Easter!
I can't say my weekend went according to plan. I never had a strict P1 day, BUT I can proudly say that when I did cheat they weren't full out binges which is an improvement from the previous week! And although I'm still up 4 lbs from my lowest (thinking that's, at least partly, the glycogen regain since my clothes all feel normal), that's no more than a week ago, so I suppose I should be happy the phase off seemed to work, because I'm sure in the past I would have been up 10 lbs by now!
I decided yesterday that I'm going to stick to P1 until the 12th of April and then phase off until the fall. I was planning on sticking to it until I reached 120, but I think if I have an end date set and know that I only have 12 days to stick to it, it'll be easier to stay on plan. If after 12 days I'm back on track maybe I'll continue for another week. I'm not unhappy with where I'm at now, although not completely satisfied, but I know myself and I've come to that point where I just need to get back to normal life, where I can enjoy social situations.
Advice? Comments? Anyone else experience/experiencing this?

NewEngland and Disgal- I am going to do what you two ladies did and adjust my weight too. It is definitely important to stay accountable Plus it will give me motivation to stay OP!!!!
Knm-- do what feels right for you. You are only a few lbs away from you goal and I bet if you stick with P1 you will be below it! I totally hear what you are saying about getting back to a normal life.... if you phase off and stick pretty close with how to eat in maintenance I bet it will feel like normal!!

I'm glad I'm not alone about being uncomfortable with changing my current weight. I feel it will keep me more honest about how far I really have to go... Like all of you we will get there again. We did it once, (maybe twice or more) and we can do it again!
It feels good to be back! One day at a time! I'm actually looking forward to my rutabago fries for dinner. Will likely have tofu with them...just have to figure out a good way to bake them.

KNM,
I plan on staying on P1 until April 12th as well. I currently dont have a plan for phasing off. Whats your plan if you dont mind sharing? What worked last time you phased off. I think you have a good plan and I agree that I need to get off IP for the summer as well
