TGIF!!!! I am super happy Friday has arrived! It has been another long week of trainings and work and classes started up again. We are having my 4 year old's birthday party tomorrow at Home Depot. This is the first birthday party my husband is excited for. Funny funny man. I am making Rainbow's spice cake for myself to take. Eventhough I am currently in maintenance, I cannot justify eatting the junk.

Liz - Thanks! I was at Bodypump last night and there was a lady sporting a baby bump, which made me think of you! She was totally rocking the class! And I noticed that so many people dropped their weight for the bicep track. I thought maybe it was just me that thought it was hard. I stuck with my usual weight, but my biceps have never burned like that before!

KitKat - thanks for the recipe! I will have to try it in the morning.

Hope everyone has a wonderful 100% OP day!

Waiting at the airport to board my plane. This is always a trigger time for me and trying to break the cycle. I have an extra large apple cinnamon tea and checking in here for a distraction.

You got this! Every time you stay strong you are flexing your "willpower muscle" and nothing feels better than that.

It is what will keep you going in maintenance.

PS. Maybe now is a good opportunity to try your new technique and touch your hip bone to remind yourself of how far you've come?

Maybe that is why I keep lurking here when I should be working. Work is stressful and avoiding work is better than eating my stress. I probably should just deal with it and get it over with. I wish I had someone else to do the work but then I would probably not give it to them because it is too complicated and easily done wrong. Yes, avoidance does seem easier.

Have a great trip!

It's a miracle! I have PC time during the day! I have been feeling like the IP vampire lately - only jumping on in early wee morning and late night hours!!!

There is a woman who is due in 5 weeks in my Bodypump class that I am eyeing and seeing how she's made adjustments (incline bench for chest & tri). I use dumbbells for biceps and do the hammer curl/half curl+twist option - definitely worked different muscles than just doing the bar for lifts.

I had been mixing in a bootcamp style class that I am dropping for exclusive Bodypump now, it's more stable and a class I can keep up with throughout the pregnancy. There is no way I could have maintained the jumping around, burpees, instability moves.

OMG - had to flex that muscle today, it was maybe 20 minutes before I was leaving to pick up my son and I started nibbling on a baby Butterfinger in the lab (thought "just one" wouldn't hurt - I was starting to 'feel it'). I decided I could wait for something healthy at home so I spit it out & threw out the rest!

Love me some zucchini shreds! I use a box grater and squeeze out excess water in paper towels. I've also mixed/sauteed them with chocolate spread & WF apple butter before adding to whatever item (muffin, pancake, etc).

That sounds SO good - I've been eyeing the jar of WF apple butter at the nutrition store, now I have to go get it!

The best part about having his party at Home Depot is IT IS FREE!!! I was super excited about that! My son is a very perceptual thinker and can build anything out of legos. I heard they do parties there and the kids get to put together kits. I am excited for it! I hope your kiddo has a great party! 6 years old right?
