Awesome job! You and I are almost exactly in line - I started at 227 and dropped 10# as of my first weigh in yesterday! Keep with it, the hungries do eventually go away - don't forget to make the most of that unlimited lettuce!

"I live, eat and breathe IP". I find this program is nearly 'all-consuming' as well. Between planning my meals, prepping veggies, weighing and packaging meats for the freezer, looking for new recipes, and reading numerous threads on 3fc, it's a wonder anything else gets done! LOL But it is sooooo worth it!

Ahh, well then... You and I can just motivate each other Scorbett!

So today I'm debating between an Actifry (I read abut it on other threads) and a countertop convection oven (CCO). I used to have a CCO and used it regularly for years until it broke. It's so hot in St Louis in the summer, it would be nice to be able to bake (or roast veggies) without turning on the whole oven and heating up several rooms!

I'm thinking a CCO will do for me what an Actifry will do but will be more versatile.

I have have tons of kitchen gadgets which make this new lifestyle easier. I lusted after a Vitamix for years until I finally took the plunge (literally about 25 years). Really glad I did. It liquifies the spinach in my smoothies in seconds. Other helpful items include my food processor, stick blender, and George Foreman grill.

If I get the CCO, I'll probably get rid of the rotisserie. I just can't keep it all! My hubby already commented about counter space for another gadget, although they aren't All on the counters!

I've been debating on the vitamix for awhile now. Do you recommend them? I'm currently using a ~40 year old Lady Kenmore blender. I'm sure there is something better, but I've been afraid I'll regret spending the $$$.

I can always use support! Now off to bed since I gave up my free off day! I'm so crazy!

Thank you everyone for all encouragement.

My magic bullet went kaput so I bought a Ninja at Walmart and LOVE it! It does a great job with my smoothies and it is so easy to clean. I wasn't sure about the big investment in Vitamix so I went cheaper and no regrets.

Prepped some new cooking/dipping oil. Black truffle, fresh basil hearts, sea salt and garlic. I have to wait a week or two before I get to use it. I am excited.
