Hi! I just started IP (day 7 today, first weigh in tomorrow). I have about 100 lbs to lose so I'm so glad to have found this forum for ideas and support. My biggest problem so far is hunger! My coach told me not to eat outside of planned meals or to stretch my meals, but as a result I'm having to add extra packets...anyone have any experiences or wisdom?

Hunger is only an issue for the first week or two. Just muscle through, have an extra packet or egg whites if you need it. Lots of warm herbal tea, and just picture yourself in a relatively short period of time losing lots and lots of weight! This forum is a huge, huge part of many of ours success, so read, read, read and continue to post! Hang in there and you will beat the weight!

Thanks MaMaZu! Just knowing that it's normal to be hungry (because all the IP literature says "you will not be hungry on this plan) and that it passes helps...already I can feel the cravings for carbs diminishing so knowing the hunger will eventually pass too is very motivating!
