As I posted above, weight loss was slower. But inthe end I had lost more inches than ever before.
I also found I had way fewer side effects. I think ip helps resolve a lot of the insulin resistance issues.
I am so ready for this. I am also very glad to have found this thread as it has given me the reassurance that this (re boot) is possible to do; I just need to have a bit more patience this time around.
almost the end of day 2, decided to start on Friday. Funny thing when I went in for my weigh in, they were like "oh you have lost 2 more pounds" so I had to tell them that in fact I had gained 10. I stopped going to clinic at 137, and lost the 12 on my own my working out. anyways, its been o.k other than I am very very hungry now so cooking dinner early. Cheers!!
Hello everyone. I've been MIA for a long time, now in need of a reboot. I'm not going to use packets, though... Still deciding what kind of protein I will use to supplement -- need to find something with stevia. I hope to catch up on posts later, but am super busy (work trip tomorrow)...
I'm phasing out of the reboot starting today... so it is a full phase 2 day today. Just happy to be at goal (yup, feels just as good as the first time I hit it) and fitting into my pants. Aching to get back to exercise class... soon enough I guess...
Congratulations!!! I have to remember what it felt like and get my butt in gear.
Hi,
Today marks two weeks into the reboot. The hunger started going away the middle of last week. While I still long for carbs, it isn't as bad. I expect the cravings to go away this week. Looking back, I wish I would have recorded how I was feeling the first couple of weeks the first time around. I kept a food journal, but didn't include any notes as to how my body was reacting. It would have been interesting to compare the first go-round to the reboot.
well day 4 now, no ketosis yet (checked with ketosticks). First time I fell in about day 3 or so. fully brain dead and I am actually getting really bloated by end of the day which didn't happen the first time around; might be because of all the bubbly water I am drinking this time. Haven't weight myself as there is no point yet; thinking if not in ketosis then all the glycogen is still there so any measurement of weight loss is pointless ie: wont be fat.
ONEGUYONIP: are you loosing anything after the first week?
Day 5. Ketosis here. I have not weighed myself, will do on Friday at my weigh in. Feeling pretty good and have been 100% on the program. Did have one vodka/soda water last night but that is zero carb/sugar so I am o.k with it.

I've been weighing daily. Down 2.5 lbs from my highest weight last week. It feels good to be back in control. Not sure I'm in ketosis, but I'm logging food, cooking at home, and drinking all my water.

being an adult this is sounding odd but am scared to weigh myself; have been disappointed so much by scale during my "kill yourself by working out weeks" that can't step on that thing. I do agree that it feels great to be in control though. I did get odd looks from couple of folk at work yesterday when they saw my lunch but these are the same folk that judged me 2 years ago
here is hoping that the scale will give me some love on Friday.
I am rebooting! I have been in maintenance since May 1st and have really screwed up! I am on day 3 of IP since starting again and am so excited to be back on. I feel in control and like I have structure again.
