stepped on the scale...same weight as a week ago (down .2)...okay...plan to step on again next Saturday. Heading out of town for 2 days..that is why I stepped on today.
I think I will stick to the weekly thing...I can't let go more than that for now.

Just checking in and thanks everyone for your support and I'm lovin' this thread. I think lots of us will be passing thru here while we live real lives post IP and need to constantly tweak and adjust our daily behavior. I'd still rather be here everyday talkin' and obsessing about everything I do and eat, rather than be looking at 40lbs up again and having to do this all again. That's a whole other kind of feeling like total crap. That thought alone will be all I need to keep fighting and creating new cellular memories for my mind and body that are now wrapped around being thin and fit.
I think obsessing over 10 lbs is what normally thin people do anyway. That's why they're thin!!!! They have a boundary that they stick to...we're just learning to do what they do more naturally.
We all have qualities that others can learn from and emulate...so...I didn't have those qualities naturally and I'm learning from people who do and from all of you who are learning with me!
Have a great rest of the day and weekend!
Sunnymae

Yes. Very well said. Most thin people I know are always complaining about 5-10 pounds. This makes total sense. And I agree, we are just learning what they do naturally.

Yes! I agree too... it actually used to bother me that 'thin' people would obsess over their weight but now I understand why

Lol! Right!?!?! I would think "pul-leaze". But I totally get it. Also, the smaller you are the more the pounds show. Now if I gained 5-8 pounds, I would be in the next size up, but 5-10 pounds when I was bigger, it was hardly noticeable.

Agreed here as well. So true that an extra five- ten pounds at a lower weight makes a huge difference. And fighting with those said five- ten is way better than fighting with 40 over and over. But I gotta say after this reboot is done I really want to make sure that I stay within three. That three pound window works very well... when it's adhered to
Figure maintenance is just doing what needs to be done to stay where you want to be. Hopefully with enough time of being at a stable weight our bodies will accept it as 'normal' and not fight so hard for us to put weight on. Probably wishful thinking but a girl can dream right...

Hey everyone just wanted to check in. Looks like everyone is moving right along. This is my busy work time - so traveling ALOT! Home for the weekend then out on the road again for a week. Staying about the same weight, but I can tell that I haven't been to the gym in a week, and won't get to one for another week! Just walking every afternoon after I get done with conventions. Can't wait to get back to normal routine! This living out of a suitcase for 3 weeks is getting old! I've been eating normal food, except for snacks which, I've used chocolate soy puffs - my favorite! Have a great weekend everyone, check back with you all when I get home from this trip!

Still plugging along. Doing P1 today after a weekend of over eating What else is new?!?!? It actually wasn't too bad, but enough to show a 3# gain on the scale, so doing my best to flush my body with water and rid it of all this sodium. I also ate some wheat, so that will bloat me for a few days.
Cap- you said it perfect. Maintenance is doing whatever it takes to stay where we want to be. Come **** or high water, I will not gain back my weight and I will make sure I do whatever I have to do to make it happen. Does that mean that 90% of the time I eat generally low carb, avoid pastries that come into the office, pass when high cal/high carb Starbucks drinks are offered? You bet it does. But you know what, I would rather that than see my pants sizes going back up.

Good morning!
I had my 2 week weigh in since the start of my re-boot and I am down 3.2 lbs for a total of 10.2 lbs.... I will take it!
I guess being 100% committed really does the trick as I haven't had any trouble staying on Phase 1 this time... not sure why I'm an 'all in' or 'all out' kind of gal but I need to work on that. :/

10 pounds a month is a pretty realistic expectation of IP if it is strictly adhered to (which obviously you're doing!)... So, I would fully expect that your 'dream' will be a reality if you do another month... Are you aiming for 135?
