If I can find $8 pants a size or two too small, I buy them because I'll make it there sooner or later. I don't mind wearing loose-fitting shirts, so even though I can wear a L or an XL now, I still wear my 2X & 3X shirts.

I hear you on the shirt sizing. I won't wear baggy pants, but I still have a few shirts in 2x and 3x and every time I wear them they are practically falling off of my shoulders. After wearing one yesterday and feeling like I was swimming in it, I decided it's time to pack them all up and donate.

Today I'm going in to be measured for a bra. Mine are all getting way too big and I really have no clue what size now. I hate to spend the money on bras at this point, but if I can get properly measured and even buy just one or two it will be worth it.

Mine are too big too. I guess I should buy some new ones. I had to get new panties. Mine were falling off! LOL. I don't regret spending money to buy things that look good or fit well. It feels good to shop for smaller sizes!!

I have had a few food challenges at work this week too. I was brought a warm apple fritter (my favorite), which I quickly passed on. Then shortly after I was offered a meal coupon to use at one of the gourmet food trucks set outside this week. Wasn't tempted, ate my packed lunch resolutely!

Way to go MaMaZu! Doesn't it feel just wonderful and delicious to give yourself a pat on the back for food-challenges overcome? I know it does for me

I think that's an awesome retro-style, and we should bring it back! :dancer: That'll help with holding on to that too-big wardrobe for a while longer, and save all of us a ton of money.

Way to go on the WI wuv...keep your shirt, it's the 80's again!

Reference the bra, I totally WISH I had invested in a bra half way through. I've mentioned on another thread that I really screwed up my shoulder and I think that the improper bra (one that would just 'do for now') really was at least 75% of the problem. I highly recommend a good one!!

Sewingmomma, excellent ticker you got there! Checkin' it out! :)

Well this morning, I really noticed how much my palate and taste buds have changed! When I first started IP, the RTD shakes I thought were tolerable but barely. It sure wasn't delish! But this morning, as I was sipping my RTD shake, I realized how much I love the taste now!!! I don't think I'm used to them, but rather that my tastes have completely changed - heck, I'm eating cabbage salad now for lunch and look forward to it! Have a great day!

Kim was ok but this week she kinda turned int a "B". I hope the younger guys start dropping better numbers in the next few weeks. For being guys you would think they would have some BIG numbers but it is just not happening for them as much as they are in that gym!

Momto2cs 02-01-2012 02:32 PM

Clearly the gym is not really a solution! I know for me, I often work out 2 or 3 hours a day and it does little for weight loss...I am very toned though!

Think about it this way, even if you burn 300 extra calories an hour, it will take 12 hours a week in the gym to lose 1 pound.

A friend just came back from a weekend away in the States and she was able to find the MIO. I just tried the Peach/Mango, it's so good! I was really expecting it to taste sweet and artificial, but was pleasantly surprised. Now we just have to hope they'll bring it to Canada for us.......

My husband found the 3 bottles I brought back from Florida and really enjoys it, now he is trying to find out how we can get more. I tried it once but I'm satisfied with a large glass of ice water and a spritz of realemon so haven't bothered telling him it isn't for him :)
