Thanks. At 45, I expected to lose slowly, but I'm happy that things are going so quickly. My said that I have one of the highest rates of loss at the clinic. I've tried to have a positive attitude through out this process, and I don't let a low-loss week get me down.

why?

Can you tell why you lose big one week, a little the next and then lose big again?? Have you tried looking back to see? Is it exercise, amount of meat, when you have your snack, restricteds? Just curious...how can we all have those 5 plus loses every week! Wouldn't that be exciting!

I just stick to the program 100 percent and trust in the IP protocol. I eat a restricted every day, usually for breakfast. I have my snack in the afternoon. I stick to the protocol that my clinic gave me. (My clinic says to measure veggies raw and protein cooked.) I don't skimp on my olive oil, salt, water, or lettuce. I don't have a set exercise program, but I'm very active and do a lot of walking and not a lot of sitting in my daily life.

Finally, everybody is different, and we all lose weight at different rates. Just stick with the program, and it will work.

Congratulations is too feeble but I have a head cold and that's about as strong as I can think right now. :D The only thing I'd add to your outfit is a warm lap dog or a wrap around cat. If it's any consolation, I was cold on this diet while I lived in Hawai'i. And sat in the sun. ;)

I just turned 55 and I'm post menopausal. I thought for sure this would be a very slow process, but my average weight loss is 3lbs per week. My coach did tell me before I started that she really didn't see much of a difference in women's average weight loss per week based on their age. I thought she was just trying to push the program, but it turns out she really was telling the truth.

Weigh in number 4 (or is it 3? Does the starting weight count as a weigh in?) tomorrow afternoon. Plan to spend the morning catching up on reading on the posts. Have a great day everyone

Wuv - what kind of talk is that from you? No "maybe one day i will see that number"....YOU KNOW you will see that number!!!!!!

I know you will see that number.

WOO HOO down -2.8 today!! Even with TOM for the last week and a half. I have something that I would like to vent about so please bare with me...

Dear TOM, I realize you are just part of being a woman but I really don't like that you are around so often. You have been here 3 out of 4 weeks this month and I am very frustrated with you. Although you no longer cause me the pain you did in the past you are still very annoying. You have not been sure if you wanted to stay or go for the last week and then all of a sudden you decided to make yourself at home. Even tho it does not look like you are going to leave any time soon, I want you to know that I will deal with you and your indecisiveness because in the end I will be much healthier and happier.

Nikki.

I just posted on the daily chat about my WI today, but had to come to my favorite thread and post here. Today I lost 4 pounds and 3 1/2 inches. That brings me to 60 pounds. So excited for lots of reasons of course, but that's also the most I have ever lost on any diet and course always 100% on plan.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Congrats on the great WI :)

Ok. The last two weeks, I have been really hungry throughout the day. I haven't been doing anything different. I still drink tons of water (roughly 120 oz). Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Congrats! that must be an awesome feeling:carrot::carrot:

A friend just came back from a weekend away in the States and she was able to find the MIO. I just tried the Peach/Mango, it's so good! I was really expecting it to taste sweet and artificial, but was pleasantly surprised. Now we just have to hope they'll bring it to Canada for us.......
