official weigh in today -5 Woo Hoo!!
This time around I am noticing that I need more fat than last time. I am going to do red meat every other day and rotate the off ones with Fish or chicken. I am also going to try to add a restricted on the fish/chicken days to see if that helps. I am going to do my higher carb veggies on the meat days as I will not be getting the restricted. I have not been doing restricted because last time I was very carb sensitive.
I had to get rid of a LOT of clothes in my closet this weekend so that is a good feeling too. About a month and I will have to go to Good Will shopping I think :)
Good luck on all the weigh in's and victories today :)

Congratulations on needing to move down to smaller clothes! I look forward to starting to thin out my closet. My husband said the other day--you are going to have to buy some new clothes the way you are losing. I told him--don't worry I have at least three sizes in my closet, it will be a while before I GET to buy new clothes!! Can't wait!

I am on my 4th week--100%. Loving the results.

So glad to hear you are loving the program so far, I am only on DAY 2 but so far so good!! How have you done each week?

Busymomx4 02-07-2012 01:20 PM

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well!

Work is pretty quiet and i'm totally bored out of my mind and i hate not being busy!

Dh is still doing IP for diabetics using alternatives and he's lost 10.4lbs in 2 weeks (5.4 and 5). He's really happy and only has 12lbs left to go. He called his dr. yesterday cause his sugar now goes down too much so i told him to always have a bar with him at work and in his car so that if he ever doesn't feel well he can have that. But so far he's loving it!

Having a really hard time with the big C these days...was able to get a bit of relief this morning but that was after taking 5 floralax and 2 novilax yesterday... Don't know what else i can do. Should I stop the cal/mal for a few days?

Have a great day!

On a happier note, I went out and bought WF peanut butter today. All by itself, YUCK :p, but on some celery - not too bad. At least it gives me a new taste of something in my diet.

I wasn't a keen WF fan (when I could get the products) but I really liked celery dipped in the blue cheese dressing. If you like celery and want a treat, you might like it.

Kelly, since you asked.
The first week was a short week and I lost 4 pounds. Week 2--5 lbs. and Week 3--6 lbs. For a total of 15 pounds. Friday is my weigh in day. I am not weighing myself at home. I know how that can really start playing tricks when you weigh everyday and the scale doesn't always go straight down. I figure once a week at the coach's office makes it more accurate and makes me excited for weigh in day!!

Good luck. I think this program really does work. From reading the board, I can see that the weight will come right back on if you don't complete the phase out and learn a new way of eating for life.

wuv2bloved: Great job! I am here with you on the next year's journey. We are fairly close in weight and I am committed, as I can see you are also. It it great to have a leader like you on the board to inspire the rest of us!

Thank you so much for that. Sometimes I feel people think I am a know it all or try to be and that is not at all what I am trying to do. So thank you very much
