Stay strong and OP! We can do it!

Way to go! I had a day like that last week when my office ordered pizza for lunch. Feels awesome to just say no!

Wow you truly are an inspiration to so many of us here. Thank you for all that you do and especially for who you are. I know I can come here any time and I just feel great afterwards. I have learned so much that I don't even need a coach. I use to have one and I was telling here all that I learned here. LOL
Well I can honestly say and am truly proud to say since I began this January 4th I have NOT put not one crumb in this mouth that does NOT belong. I have never been this faithful on any diet. But I also believe it's because this diet is very easy, the proteins are exceptional and I feel so full every single time I eat. Sure I wish I could lose 5 lbs every week, but that is not realistic. My trainer keeps telling me losing 2 lbs a week is the best way to do it. Oh and actually my bra is now hooked up on the middle clasp after only three weeks. HAHAHAHAHAHA Good luck to you all.

You should be VERY VERY proud of yourself for keeping that commitment to yourself. It takes a strong person to be able to do that. You have proven that you are stronger than you think!. Keep up the excellent job and you will be at your goal sooner than you think. You are correct this diet is very easy, you head is in the right place to succeed. Your trainer is awesome to say that 2lbs is week is the right way to go...I totally agree with her. It gives your body time to adjust to your losses correctly :)

I am very proud to come here and know that I have helped so many on their journey along with everyone else. Its always nice to hear ....Thank you

SO! Yesterday I met a minigoal...I'm no longer considered OBESE! WOOT WOOT...I'm only overweight now. :D

It makes me laugh to cheer for being overweight. I've never put much stock into the BMI's, I don't follow them. I made a realistic goal for my body type and weight that had nothing to do with the BMI's and my Doctor is very happy with my goal. I still think it's funny that I can say "WOOHOO I'm only overweight now!"

...I'm definately slowing down in my weight loss...I did take a page out of one of patns posts and reconfirmed a lot of my measurements. I was concerned that perhaps I had allowed some things to creep up on me (veggie measurements and meat measurements) as it's been just over 9 months. HOWEVER, after last weeks excersise in confirmation (my measurements were good!) it is definately my body slowing down. This made me feel better...my coach suggested I 'shock' my body and had some interesting recommendations. However I think going to Mexico with a miniphase off will be just as good....and way more fun lol :D

Hi everyone,

Stayed home yesterday due to back pain, i think its my sciatic nerve acting up. A bit better today.

ishbel - Congrats on being overweight :) can you believe you have less than 20lbs to go! I used to laugh at people who said they wanted to lose 20lbs and think..what! that's nothing! lol. Have fun trying on swimsuits :)

Congrats to all the great WI!

Hey Kelly - WOOT WOOT only 6 lbs and you can be happy for being overweight (still makes me smile...cause it sounds so odd!) lol

Ok, so before anyone gets excited (I freaked out months ago when I saw that a coach recommended this to a dieter (who posted on here))....this recommendation came from my coach's coach who has years of experience with IP and has done all the training that has been offered to her. So she has experience with jump starting someone's metabolism who has lost a lot of weight.

This is what she said:

There are 4 or 5 ways to do it. First, pull the restricted (bootcamp) for a week or two....second is to change lunch and dinners for at least 3 days, then alternate the switch every other day for a week. Fourth thing is to pull yourself off the program for 2 days and eat normally. And the fifth way which one of our clinics finds success with, is to have your eat only restricted (3 per day) for a couple of days.

I've had a lot of time to think about it (ok just this last week, but I thought a lot so that counts!). I've done boot camp (only once so far), I think I would be willing to change up the dinners/lunches, I'm sure I won't do the 'normal' for 2 days...but she's had dieters do it sucessfully and IF the others options didn't make anything show (and I got desperate) I might do the restricted as you'd still be eating their products so it wouldn't be completely "normal". JUST MY OPINION THOUGH! (anyone reading this...pls...don't jump on me if you disagree!)

I think just going to Mexico will work with a mini phase off and jump back on (she agreed) so I won't take any of the options. It will extend my 'mission' / 'journey' a bit...but hey that's life. And I'll be neurotic about my eating habits for the rest of my life.

Busymomx4 02-02-2012 02:13 PM

Ishbel - My coach told me that she has a client that will only eat restricted. She doesn't necessarily agrees with it but it works for her. When she stalls she has her do 2 weeks of bootcamp. I think i would do 3 restricted over eating normal. And i really wouldn't want to switch up..i really enjoy eating real food for dinner, lol.

I'm sure your mini-phase off will jump start things but hey, you're still losing, its not like you've stalled or anything!

.

Hi I think it was me you may be referring to - I started a thread "do you think my coach is crazy" or something like that. My coach also suggested to go off plan for a couple days or do the 3 restrictives - I didn't try either. But I do know when I increased my protein size it made a difference. Let us know what you do and how it works
