Blessings to you all. Have a great OP day...

Don't even bother going to the doctor- this is totally common on the diet. As you lose fat, estrogen is also released from the fat cell. Your hormone levels will fluctuate. Some post-menopausal women even see some spotting. It's fine... no worries! :)

However, make sure you are using a back-up contraceptive method if you are on the pill because these hormone changes can render the pill less effective.

Your cheesecake thought made me think of this. My coach has these little papers with sayings in a basket to take one says:
"Eating everything you want is not that much fun, when you live a life with no boundaries, there's less joy. If you can eat anything you want, what's the fun in it?" Tom Hanks
Got me really thinking about overindulgence and special treats. I want to live a life with control and boundaries so that when special occasions come up they truly feel special. This saying can be applied not only to food but life in general. Going to a movie, buying a really nice pair of shoes etc...should be once in a whiles and then they feel more special.
Hope that makes sense.

I like that! Makes perfect sense!

I have read a few comments regarding cooking vegetables but haven't been able to pinpoint whether we can cook mushrooms or not. I love mushrooms sauted, but does this change their sugars like onions?

I would have to say it is okay tos saute them since the IP sheet doesn't list them as raw only, like the onions. I have been sauteing mine and I am averaging 3lbs a week with my losses.

It's fine to saute them- just make sure you don't fry them at a high temperature.

Hi everyone! Cannot imagine cheating. Since my Dec 1 start I promised myself that I was in. I agree that I tired of reading others that were cheating and beating up on themselves. A vicious cycle. Hang tough all!

I am so glad that y'all are enjoying this thread, I was just reading some late post from last night where there are people upset about it. They are saying its a Us vs You thread....That is not at all what I meant for this to be. I just wanted this to be a POSITIVE thread which it has been with a sign of relieve. Thanks to everyone for keeping it that way :)

I am sooooooo hungry today and I have no idea why! I have been drinking the water, had some tea, ate my lunch but nothing is satifying! I can't wait to get home and have my snack while waiting for supper to cook. I'm in my third week and I don't think I was ever this hungry in my first week!

I've had that too every few weeks and those weeks that I feel hungry all the time are the weeks that I have the biggest losses. Hoping thats whats happening to you too. Keep chugging the water and drinking tea and keep yourself busy!

In my eyes, it is totally not an US vs YOU. I find this thread great because on the diet we already deal with so many temptations daily it is hard to read about cheating and especially all the 'cheating' foods. Nobody is perfect, I may stay 100% OP for the whole diet but I can assure you that I made a million other mistakes somewhere else in my life! Thank you for this thread and for "standing up" for what you believe in, you really are such an inspiration!!
