I HATED them at first, blegh! Because they had such a thick, gritty texture. Finally a couple days ago I added a little more water than it called for, just to see if that would help (not sure why I didn't the first several times!!). And it made all the difference in the world!!

I also mix things. Like I mix the chocolate pudding with the cappucino mix, 150mL cold water, mmmmmmmm I could eat that all day.

I do like chocolate, vanilla and butterscotch puddings, just not blueberry. Or banana. Maybe strawberry will be ok.

What a great idea!!! Thanks for sharing! I'm totally going to do that.

For your non-IP products - are those still satisfying all the amino acids you need to not lose muscle? If you have more info on that it would be great. Prior to this diet I've used nutrapro protein but I'm not sure how complete it is- still 80 servings for 35 bucks is a heck of a lot better than 9 LOL.

Also - I had what I hope will be an epiphone on my way back to work from lunch. I'm always looking for ways to make it easier to say no to bad foods and I think I may have figured out a way to do it easily. Juice - do you not buy any IP products at all - and does your coach still let you come to their "meetings".
I believe they are still satisfying the amino acid requirements. They are GNC 100% Whey Protein, and Isopure zero carb powders. I occassionally have a pure protein bars, maybe once a week.

I no longer go to my clinic or coach, they are part of the reason I stopped the IP products. My coaches were horrible and just wanted the money. They could never answer a question, always measuring inconsistantly. I finally just left. I still follow the same protocol and just use GNC products. Seems to be working and my muscle tone is still good, I do not feel weak, still feel the same strength wise.

I think it is inevitable that we all will lose some muscle mass on any diet. Preserving it is key, but I think no matter how hard we try, we will lose some.

I never even thought of packet hacking until i read threads here about it. So far I've tried mixing the chocolate/banana pudding - not bad, and last night did a chocolate/vanilla mix and it was pretty good.

The chocolate pudding by itself doesn't taste great to me - not chocolatey enough and is fake tasting. The vanilla is the same way - but mixing the 2 confused my mouth enough where it kinda tasted cookies and creamy - ish lol. I'm gonna keep experimenting now.

I've been looking at the grams on the packets and weighing half amounts to still get my protein meal in the right quantity - does anyone else use a different method?

also - this may sound stupid but is there a way to save a signature so I don't have to hunt down and copy/paste my weight tracker?

I must say I love this forum, to see so many people really supporting each other through life time changes, really really opens my eyes. I wish there was a forum like this to help people when someone one we love passes away.

Sometimes when we read words from another person, they stay in the back of our minds and later on we remember them. Many nights I read here to help make me stronger to become a better healthier person. Never have I seen more support from other humans in such a non selfish way.

Lifts her pina colada packet, and toasts all the wonderfull helpful people here, and also all the people in the process of changing their lives for the better !!

Good for you for staying strong...I cried some in the beginning too, and I PROMISE, while this isn't easy, it does get EASIER!

I'm back from weigh in #7 this morning and was a little bummed to see only a 0.8 loss. BUT, I am NOT discouraged, I had a big week last week and I'm still averaging at 4.42 lbs. a week which is INCREDIBLE. I honestly could not have imagined losing 31 lbs. in 49 days so off I go, to tackle this upcoming week of craziness in my life, and I'll hope for a better loss next week

I wanted to mention as well that for all those who have a$$hole coaches who berate you and don't give you the time of day, my coach gave me a BIG HUG when she saw my result, told me next week will be better and gave me some advice on how to get there. We quickly figured out that my issue this week was most likely that I wasn't eating ENOUGH as I had let myself only have 3 packets a day instead of the recommended 4 for my current weight....so I'm going to try going back to the 4 this week and see what happens. My point is though, THIS is how a real IP coach reacts and supports and if you're getting anything less than this, your coach needs to be reported.

I also talked to her about my upcoming trip to Florida with the family, we went over some options although truthfully, I'm still not sure which way to go with it so I have some thinking to do but have a month to do it.

Anyway, I wanted to ask a quick favour before I go. I met an incredible family this morning who has a very sick little girl. I photographed them as part of my affiliation with the Now I Lay me Down to Sleep Foundation and would like to ask, if you'd all be willing to keep sweet Olivia in your prayers? She needs a heart transplant, among other things, and really is just the sweetest little thing. I and her family would really appreciate your good thoughts and prayers for her

Thanking you in advance
So glad you're not discouraged! We need to keep the big picture in view, and YOU are doing awesome!

Praying for sweet Olivia.

Loving the reports of great WI's & all the love and encouragement flying around here today. Just so thankful for all of you, and for this program.

Had WI#7 today & 4 lbs gone. Yay! Had a nice NSV today, too. Still trying to figure it out. I was moving some fall jackets to a spare closet, and looked lovingly on one I bought a couple of years ago. It's very fitted, and I only wore it for a month or so, and it got too tight. I put it on, buttoned it up, and it fits PERFECTLY! The amazing thing is, I KNOW I weighed 10 lbs less when bought it than I do now, but it fits the same or better than it did then! IP has SO exceeded my expectations. Love it!

OMG! She's so tiny! And he needs a heart transplant? Of course, I will pray for her and her family. It is just unimaginable that people have to go through something like this.

Well I was making stuffed peppers for dinner (which turned out awesome with my IP friendly changes) and realized the peppers I bought were much smaller than the ones I normally use and I ran out of pepper to stuff. In addition due to a problem this afternoon I was unable to eat my salad (cat knocked it off the desk and all over the floor). So I need more veggies and decided on tomatos because I haven't had any and the store had some really nice grape ones.

So there I am walking through the store extremely hungry. My husband wanted more waffles so I had to get them and then check out. The Waffles are in the breakfast/ice cream/pizza/snack section so I had to walk through that extremely tempting section and didn't stop for anything.

Now I am quite happy, just finished my peppers and am enjoying my grape tomatos halved with real salt and pepper on them-without a trace of guilt

I was so excited today to buy some size 12 pants and size Large shirts. I have zero memory of ever wearing a 12. I wonder if I skipped it all together?! This diet is expensive (not only the food but the clothes) but SO WORTH IT. Have a great weekend...
