I have noticed some of the comments about the coaches. I am a little disillusioned with my situation.
When I joined IP, The initial meeting was with the Dr of the clinic and a coach. They were really motivational and full of you can do it attitude.
Now all I get is a cattle drive weigh in once a week and a pick out your product and I will meet you at the register.
Last week I asked the person that did my weight and measurements if we got any coaching or additional information during my visits and she told me that they are just so busy that I would have to make an appointment.
Believe me, I do not need my hand held, but what are they there for???
Also, we have another IP clinic in the town that I live in, can we change clinics? Thanks for letting my vent.

YEAH!! So proud of myself. This really works.. I still cannot believe it!

Also I see a lot of Newbie : WELCOME!! and this diet is the best thing you can do for yourself. We all must be proud of our victories, small or big!

NSV: Today I wore my spring jacket, WOW I will need to get an other one I'm floating in it!

I know I will have a wonderful day today!

well I know my spring jacket will be to big to but I just wish we had the weather for it still lots of snow on the ground and minus 20 tonight. Not even thinking spring yet.

Why not make your own milkshakes out of the puddings in the blender with ice. Or make a frozen pin a colada. Make sure not to use a straw!

Why are you can't you use a straw to drink the drinks or shakes?

This is what I've planned with my coach so that I don't get overwhelmed and defeated with the big goal--20 lb chunks seem more attainable.
But I'm worried how long will this prolong my whole process? I tend to be a run/walk kind of person rather than a long slow jog. How hard is it mentally to "keep in the game" for (maybe) a year?

Hello! I am no expert but have been on the diet since mid November and have lost 50lbs. The last few lbs have been a struggle want to lose about 10 more lbs. But to be honest don't really want to be on it much longer but then that is just me. Everyone has to do what they are comfortable with and if you want, you can play it by how you feel. You don't have to decide immediately how long to be on it, or your goal can also change when you get where you want to be.

The no straw part was because she just had wisdom teeth removed. Straws can cause dry sockets. Everyone else gets straws. :-)

you are doing great! I think you may as well stick with the coach for accountability. Mine can be the same way, but I loose more when I see her regularly.

I figured a loss is a loss, I have lost 10% of my initial starting weight (29lbs) in six weeks. I don`t see how that is problematic. Sure I would like it to be more, but it`s better than none! I am starting to consider going with Ideal2Go because of the frustrations I am having with my coach. I expected her to be more encouraging given the things I Have been through the last couple weeks.

get a couple pairs of black pants, and stick with them. the shirts and sweaters can be a little big. I go to tjmax, marshals, ross, loehmans, type stores. I find the prices I pay are similar to the consignment shop but new.

This has been a pretty good week for me, IP-wise, and I have done a major clean up in my closet!!! Everything that is now too big is out of there! Never to be seen again! I've never had the courage to do such a "clean up" before, cause I always kept clothes "in case I'd need it again" :dizzy:

But... NO MORE! Every pound shed is never going to return again! I have decided and that is it!

Problem now is... that I'm losing weight pretty quickly... I can't imagine buying new clothes every few weeks, to wear for just a small amount of time. That's silly! So if anyone out there who is also changing rapidly, please share what you are doing! I'd really appreciate it, & I'm sure everyone will find these tips/suggestions helpful.

Down 20 lbs! yay me! & YAY EVERYONE ELSE on here!!

take a few minutes and check out some IP recipes that are posted, get something figured out that is safe for dinner that you look forward to eating. In the beginning I did the tuna in the package before for convience- it was horrible , now I just prepare something that I can eat for a couple days that I enjoy saves time and keeps me OP.

I tried having some with stevia but it wasn't the same. I had to choke down my tuna for supper. OMG, I really don't like tuna, I forgot how much. I feel good and I'm off to bed. I work night shifts a lot. If anyone has any advice on shift workers, let me know please? I work 12 hour shifts and half of them are nights. Tough going into a day from a night because you either lose or gain a day. Sleep is very disrupted too.
Well, goodnight all. Reading all these posts has really inspired me. After taking my pictures yesterday I just wanted to cry! You guys are all so determined!

You are doing so well!!! I have 37 left to loose and have lost 37 so far so or weights are quite similar. I have been on and off this plan for a long time now and recommend anyone to try it your way if possible. You save so much money and time. I have had back surgery, breaks, and I am afraid of skin hanging. We all have things in our lives that create excuses, but if possible get it done. Keep up the good work Laura. If we both stick to the plan we should be where we want by summer. ;-)

(about 3 months of phase 1, 3 months in the other 3 phases, repeat). you might be really surprised at how quickly you lose that 80-100 lbs if you stay on plan straight through. like i said, i've been on plan for only 9 weeks and i have lost almost 40 lbs. my goal is 75 lbs and i'm already half way there! i estimate that i should be done by june. it's really not that bad if you think about how long it actually took you to put the weight on. for me it took 29 years to get as heavy as i was, but only 6 months to get thin. not a bad trade-off.

I use the bullet type blender and wouldn't eat/drink the packets with out it. There are generic ones for 20 or so. plus you can blend your breakfast and drink. then blend your lunch and leave the blender lid on.and bring it with you to work. It screws on so it wont leak I love it. def worth the money.

What a handy little tool! So much easier than a big blender.

all I know of is the ketosis sticks. you can by them at the pharamcy counter. Kinda expensive and some like-some think unreliable. Anyhow the sticks check you urine to see if your in ketosis or not. You have to find out what color the stick is for you when you are in ketosis. tends to be different for some. also there are side effects when in ketosis- bad breath and stuff.

I only lost 3/4" on my waist and 3/4" on my hips. I got some of the laxative supplements from IP and dropped another pound or two this morning. Do we have to have IP supplements? A good quality supplement is much the same as any other and $23 for a laxative (made from Senna) is a bit expensive. I think in my intial visit my IP supplements came to over $70. I can get the same from the health food store for less than 1/2 the cost.

Anyway, I picked up the tomato soup for the first time. I would like to make a vegetable casserole. Has anyone used the tomato soup for cooking other things? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Have a good weekend.

Hi Everyone:

I just came back from WI and I am down another -3 lbs this week and 3 inch loss this week. Hey I will take it. I found out some interesting news today. I am not the only one on this cleanse at my clinic that is complaining about it. It seems everyone that is on this cleanse at my coach's office is complaining how their weight loss slowed since they were put on it. It makes you wonder??? My coach was not in but his receptionist is going to ask him about it and when I am in next week I am going to ask him to check the Corporate office about their findings. It def makes me curious and also relieved that I am not the only one going through this. I do not want to bad mouth the cleanse since IP has done a lot for me so far it is just in my personal findings I am not very fond of it and I will leave it at that. I am not a quitter like I said a few days ago so I am going to ride it out for my last week.

I hope everyone has a great night. Off to the "out laws" for dinner. They are great they keep it IP friendly for me. Gotta love them.

That is awesome keep up the great job you are doing. :bravo:

I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time with your coach. Telling you to make an appointment is unacceptable! You need to tell them that you have questions and that they deserve to be acknowledged and given time during the time you come in for your weigh in. They're making money off of selling you the product, you at the very least deserve to have your questions answered.
If I was in your position, I would check out the other clinic. Before you decide to switch, you may not want to tell them what is going on with your current coach, but ask them how they work with clients. How long are their appointments? Does the time allow the opportunity to have questions answered? Along with any other concerns you might want to express...

I hope it works out either way!
