Is that possible? She has just never seen a reaction like this. I AM FRUSTRATED AND CORPSE LIKE EXHAUSTED,I am finally losing weight after my child, but i can't go on feeling like this. Does anyone have any thoughts?
Ok, I am sure your coach has asked but are you taking your supplements and eating your salt? How much water are you drinking? Did you cut out the caffeine? Withdrawal from that can give you a headache but usually only the first 3-4 days. I had pretty bad headaches for awhile to the point I would eat the salt off my hand and drink a glass of water. I was eating more salt than the teaspoon allowed but it seemed to help. If I push myself too hard on the treadmill I get a severe headache a few hours later.

I have a friend that used to get migraines quite often. Once we started working together I helped her recognize that chocolate was the culprit. Have you started eating onions and mabye didn't before? I have read they can cause migraines. I hope the migraines are not caused by the IP foods, this diet really does work but I feel really bad that you are having migraines.

I too seem to need to eat more when I start my period. I think I have this alter personality that eats everything that it can get it's hands on. Have you tried adding a 4th protein to see if that helps?

I hope you feel better soon! Keep us posted.

I'm east river...way east. Sioux Falls is about 20 miles from the Minnesota and Iowa borders, at the intersection of I-29 and I-90. My sister lives in Gillette though, so I go by Sundance once in awhile. I graduated from Casper. Did you grow up there?

No, I am a born and bred "buckeye". Moved here in 1982, tho. Love it here. No humidity, very few people and lots of sunshine. I go through Sioux Falls a lot. I drive back to Ohio to see family because I am addicted to antiques and have to bring back lots of goodies. I have a booth in an antique mall in Spearfish and one in Rapid City.
Forget the inversion boots....go for the spike heels with pointy toes!!!!

Just tried this, absolutely awesome, the only thing I'm changing is making two giant pancakes next time so the nachos are thinner and even crispier, I also made them as pancakes in my day's olive oil instead of just olive oil spray, gives that nice bit of greasiness I love with nachos!!!

Goddess, I feel so bad for you. Hopefully some of the posts here with suggestions will help you. I find that I don't miss sweets on this diet, but I do crave salt. When that happens I put salt on some celery sticks for a snack. That seems to help. I also like the WF peanut butter on celery. It is pretty much free since there isn't anything in it. I do eat extra celery in these two ways if I feel I need more food. I don't know whether that causes me to have too many veggies, but there is nothing in celery and it works for me.

Babs.....do you eat any salsa with the chips? Maybe once a week? I was thinking of trying salsa on fish kinda like fish vera cruz....it will make me think I am on vacation in Mexico. The salsa in my fridge has 2 carbs per 2 Tbls. So cut out 1/2 cup veggies?

Try taking an extra potassium supplement. If you are used to working out a lot I think your muscles need that extra support.

I didn't this time as I sometimes like chips with nothing. It's probably ok if you make your own as tomatoes are allowed once a week, a little onion, a few spices, parsley or something. I'd be scared of using store bought because I don't want to have to try and count out carbs or sugars or anything else in there, and besides, fresh salsa is absolutely awesome!!

I had a realization about how much weight I have lost. My niece and nephew were over the other day and they each stepped on my scale. My niece weighs 36lbs and my nephew 56lbs. I picked each of them up and was suprised how heavy they were. I had to pick up each since I have lost 48lbs which is about the middle between them. WOW.

I love homemade salsa....Didn't really think about that. How about cilantro? Does anyone know if that is allowed? I haven't started eating the restricted IP foods yet. I am on my third week. I want to try without them for at least 4 weeks. Does anyone just stay away from them completely for the whole diet?

Welcome Harlee Girl!!

I am only on day 4 and I think the hardest is behind me. If your feeling cruddy right now just give it a few days. I'm not even hungry anymore. Just make sure you get all your packets and veggies in.

I'm on week 7..and I've only lost 19lbs. To be honest, a part of me is super frustrated because I feel like everyone on this site is shedding the weight so much faster. Any tips or words of advice?
SWP-
I think you are doing fine. Everyone's bodies are different. I'm on week 7 and have lost 21.2 pounds. Your weight loss is comparable to mine. Not everyone loses 3-5 pounds a week - I only had 2 weeks (first 2) where I lost 3 pounds or more.

My advice is to just follow that phase 1 sheet exactly. Eat the lettuce, have your 1-2 tsp olive oil every day. Also, are you getting enough sleep? Are you stressed? Both will slow weight loss in general. Maybe try taking the digestive enzymes and stool softener. I think Blue Mermaid said that an IP rep told her we should all be on those.

And about your cardio- that's probably contributing to the lack of loss. Try walking instead for 45 minutes of your 90. I walk and my coach said it doesn't interfere with the weight loss.

Also- who knows about the cheats? They probably do add up because we're not supposed to have fruit. But you know that. Plan ahead so you have something better to eat- talk to your coach about it too. Maybe the coach will allow you to have string cheese or some kind of protein so you don't end up eating a banana at work!

I hadn't heard of that album. Just checked it out, and liked the clips. So I ordered it!

BlueMermaid asked me that a week or so ago and I didn't respond because I didn't know the answer. But I guess now I'll have to stick around. Otherwise, how will I hear about good albums?

for some reason I think I was knocked out of ketosis. I am starving today and my pee stick is showing up negative. I have my weigh in tomorrow, I am hoping and praying for a good week or someone will have to scrape me up off the floor!
