Interesting, and is still gets jelloey?

Knock on wood I've never had a problem with the jello getting jelloey....I just mix it with the prescribed amount of hot water until not lump and then pour in just under half a can of pop and put it in the fridge.

Ah, Mom22, I should have known you're still taking the other supplements. I've noticed that you're a pretty smart cookie.

Regarding the rules, I'm all for keeping rules. For example, I want to keep the official rules of the 3FC messageboard. Just not sure how a small handful of participants in a thread think they can set rules for the rest of the thread participants is all.

Jordanna, do you use sticks to test? If so, what kind of sticks do you think are good?

just went for my weigh in and had to rush back and share my excitement - I lost over 5 lbs this week and am within 90% of my goal weight. I'm onto Phase 2. this is one of the biggest weekly loses for me and I'm really happy. I guess my adjustments to the IP plan (egg beaters and bulk protein powder) aren't hurting my weight loss. woohoo!!

Ya know, I think that is a very powerful thing. I think of it as recalibrating.

Back in the 70's the Doobie Brothers had an album called What Were Once Vices are Now Habits. Well that vice-becoming-habit thing certainly is true for me! Nothing wrong with going to Taco Bell once in a while. But when it becomes a regular thing, that's a problem. (I admit to having once gone twice in a day! )

This is actually part of the reason I do the IP diet every now and then -- so that I get back to thinking of cheese as a treat instead of a stable. After IP, going back to a regular diet (like the Suzanne Somers diet) seems like heaven on earth.

Default I am on my way to losing an elephant.....

Bahhaaaa, thank you Mama for posting the 'what you have lost' really puts things into perspective.
Just want to say great job I finially got some time to go thru the posts I notice some of you are getting very close to your goals, that is very encouraging, you all are doing so wonderfully.
SOme really good meal ideas, I like the diet pop and Jello, I misssssssss pop, I am gonna try that for a treat.
About the sticks... I have never gotten a blip of color on those stupid things so I dont even bother anymore, I am losing so I guess that is all I need to worry about.
I weigh myself daily (cant remember - this post or the other) sometimes at different times of the day, cant help myself, I am a junkie. I have been off the rails alittle this last little while but I am back and gonna go hard or go home so to speak, summer is coming and I have closets full of cloths.
I think everyone's opionions matter, you dont have to agree or disagree with what is said. I read everything, take from it what interests me and disregard what is not relevant to me and move along. The thing that matters is that we do what is right for us and support each other as much as possible, well thats what I like to take from the forum. So if that counts for anything theres my 2 cents worth!!!!!! Wishing everyone a great day and happy losing!!!
I need a Julia...

Thanks

Hi Want2run. I started Sept. 14, 2009. Took a break at Christmas, and have had problems getting back on the strict program. For the last 6 weeks, I've been losing and gaining in a 5 lb range. Part of this is due to the fact that I was this weight for several years before going up the scale. The bigger part has been the nuts, dairy, and high fat meats I've been eating! I'm now committed to getting back on Phase 1 and getting all non-IP approved foods out of the house.

I have been sooo sick this past week. I am pretty sure I had the Swine Flu...
I really don't know how Valkyrie did it! I read on the boards that her wedding was is soon, so she hasn't been posting. She was one of the original IPers

I'm glad you're feeling better. Sounds like it was rough. Also seems as though your grandson has a very kind heart!!! I wish you all the best on that first shift back.
