I was told no soy cheese by my coach, but cheese is what I miss the absolute most. Are there certain brands that are more acceptable than others?

Great Job Mom22! I am just a bit jealous because your start and end numbers are like mine and you started after me........Here I am feeling like if I had just done what you did I would be close to goal too WAAAAAAA

Well I get my 'gut check' (colonoscopy & EGD) next week so hopefully I can coincide a "re-boot" of my program and get back on track!!

Thanks for the inspiration!!

Man, I wish it wasnt so late...I would go get a rootbeer right now. that would be truly amazing.

I do want to mention - I have done 2 days w/the EAS drink, plus moved my final drink to the evening...and the pounds are dropping again. yeehah. Do you think maybe just changing products could actually boost the metabolism?

Kinda ironic - I tried it to save some $...and it's supercharged the weightloss again...I haven't had the official weighin and YES I am a scaleaholic.

newsiemom: If I remember correctly JoshB has been having small amounts of soy cheese while he has been on IP and has been losing the whole time but I do not remember if he started that after being on IP for a few months? I think he was adding some to his morning eggs/omelet? Maybe some of the other "oldies" can remember when he started to add some.

Personally I think that if adding a small bit of soy cheese keeps you on track it would be better than not having some and ending up cheating on a larger scale? I would take a look at the calories and fat, carbs etc in the various brands and see if you can stay within/close to the daily limits allowed on IP or maybe consider looking at the alternative diet to see if it fits you better, keeping in mind the weight loss might be slower on the alternative but better than falling off and blowing things on a regular basis? Either way best of luck!!!

Mirazon: I know it is hard to get back into the swing of things and even more so when travelling but keep up the good work!! You have come so far...and we all know you have it in you to keep going to your goal!!!!!

Josh started using soy cheese when his coach told him it counts as a vegetable! He's been using it ever since for a while now.

Torchlaker....Ogdog posted that Matol.com and aimtobehealthy.com both carry Butterscotch pudding. Thank goodness. I have been out for awhile and have been craving it.

Echobaby...thanks for the info on the choco puffs on newlifestyle.com. Count Chocula. That brings back early morning sugar memories.

Speaking of sugar memories...I completely fell apart yesterday. I hit my low weight so far then went crazy. I ate nachos and then stopped at the drug store and purchased Easter candy. My absolute favorite addiction happens once a year with Cadburry mini eggs. If I start, I do not have an off button. I need to work on my self talk to stay out of the stores and believe I can succeed.

It was great seeing Mom22 results!! That may get me back on the wagon today. It can be done It can be done. Today is a fresh day.

Sparkles123, you've lost 35 lbs. That's a heck of a lot! So yes, you have what it takes to lose weight. No question about that.

Regarding the Cadbury mini eggs, if you love them and they are only available once a year, I can see why you wouldn't want to miss them. Is there some way you can be sure you don't miss them, but still stick to your diet? Like, can you buy some, take them to a friend's house, and say "Give me 3 when I hit 200 lbs, 3 more when I hit 190 lbs..." or something like that?

If we all made it through Halloween candy you can make it through Easter candy. LOL.

But seriously, just don't buy it! Or if you have to buy it for your kids or someone, then buy something you don't like (a tip from someone during Halloween.)

Oh, and get ready for the Easter candy leftovers that people bring to work.
Don't even look at them!

I had another thought: buy Easter decorations instead of Easter candy. Some of them are so darned cute but they're not edible......bwwwwahhhhhhhhaaaaaa

hey how about if we use the veggie cheese with the cauliflower in the crust instead of the mozza?
