Catahoulas are neat dogs, I have some friends who have an 8 month old puppy. We have two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and they really are our children.

As far as the bell peppers go... I don't know why it says "cooked," but that's something that I ignore. Completely. I generally eat bell peppers (green and/or colored) at least once a day, mostly raw. I have done many things that can be counted as slip-ups, but I don't consider eating raw, red bell peppers frequently one of them.

Question newlifestylediet.com

newlifestylediet.com

I just went to the website to check things out and their pre-made shakes are identical ....same box....same ingredients.....but about 50 % less then I've been paying... $67.00 for 24 ($2.83 per shake) vs $28.00 for 6 ($4.66 a shake) . Thats a freaking bargin....!

Has anyone ordered from this site ????

elisatamar, I'm with ya on the catahoula's! My bro just bought a ridgeback puppy. What a hoot she is! Talk about a ball of energy. She is only 4 1/2 mos old and can scale a 4 ft fence already!! Any tips on keeping them inside a lower fence?

I'm also with you on peppers. Raw peppers can't be bad for you...can they? I wonder if there is a certain acidity to them, like soda (which is why we can't drink soda...or at least aren't supposed to. )

I was going to order a "free" sample but it's the shipping that kills you - $15 + for just three samples. Should be able to ship that for less than $5.

So I am soaring through day 2. I feel much better than yesterday. I had such a bad headache I went to bed and 8:30. I had fish and broccoli for dinner last night which was actually really delish.. I am really hoping that day 3 is even better! Just wanted to give a little update of progress. I hope everyone is doing well!

Default Lettuce celebrate

I was wondering what kind of lettuce people are eating? My consultant recommends the giant packages of Romaine from Costco, but that's because she works there. I really prefer green leaf lettuce and just wondered if it really mattered. Any thoughts? Thanks!

It does not matter at all on the type of lettuce you eat...it is a free food(unlimited).

Romaine does have a higher nutritional value than iceberg. Green Leaf would be just fine!!!!!

Heh, yeah, we got our second one, Jasmine, back in September when she was 3 1/2 months, and we picked her out because she was one of the most outgoing female left. We got our first in June, Ginger, when she a year old. She had been living in a kennel on a farm for that year, though, so she's pretty reserved... and had really awful separation anxiety before we got Jasmine. There really isn't a way to keep a ridgeback from doing what she really wants to do, all you can do is train them to want to obey you more than whatever else they might be thinking. We're still trying to figure out how to keep them from chasing our two cats all over the house...

Hey Byrdie,

I'm on day three today and I'm feeling awesome, much better than the past two days. I had a headache yesterday but today am feeling super!

I just thought I'd say hi since we're starting around the same time

Ordered the free sample of 3 things. It will be here tomorrow. It was 10.53 for the shipping, though. But still, that's less than we pay now per serving, so i figured, why not if it's really identical and I like the taste.

Speaking of shakes, I took someone here's advice, and last night for the first time made my chocolate pudding into a shake with extra water, crushed ice, vanilla extract, and splenda. It was awesome and VERY filling. I may have slipped off the wagon for a few weeks, but one thing is for sure, my stomach can under no circumstances hold near the same volume of food it used to. A few bites of anything, and I'm full. Pretty cool.

Ok, I finally got the Lindora/Lean for Life carb chart to compare to I.P. The I.P. one is in the F.A.Q. section at the top of the Other Reduced Carb Diets Page. I can't figure out how to post them side by side, so, if anyone wants to do the honors? Then we can print them out and compare.

Although the Lindora on only lists carbs and not other nutritional info, I have looked at almost all the labels on the site, and the fat and protien contents are roughly the same. Be careful, though. Some products may say they have low carbs, but use fructose or sugar in small amounts. Also some have nutrasweet. But there are a few that are VERY comparable to I.P., if some of us want to try to save money on some stuff.

OK, You computer literate types, I can't post this!!!!! It's an adobe PDF file.
