I had a very busy weekend. We took our oldest son out for his 20th b-day. We had a great time ad dinner. I hope I stay the same this week. I didn't get to work out as much last week. Today I am back on track.
Ellen- Insurance companies can be something else. I hope everything works out for you.
Toni- Don't let one week of bad eating discourage you. Just keep on going remember there are 52 weeks in a year.
Happy- Glad you a getting better and welcome back.
The rain woke me about 4:30 this morning and it was still raining when I finally drug up about 7:30. Robert and I had some t.v. and talk time this morning so I didn't get moving as soon as I should have but I'm up now..LOL I made the guys some breakfast. I'm still debating on what to eat. The dishes need to be done so I'll probably do that first. May just wait and eat an early lunch. We'll see.
Eating was not stellar this weekend but it wasn't Rambo crazy either. The scales are not moving down regardless of what I do so it is what it is for now.
Email tip:
Fill Up On Omega-3 Fatty Acids
Many people are unaware of the awesome powers of omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3 fatty acids are largely found in coldwater fish such as salmon, herring, mackerel and sardines. Flax and flax oil are the most popular botanical sources of omega-3. There are other sources of omega-3. However, it's important to understand why omega-3 fatty acids are so important to your heath. These polyunsaturated fatty acids found in oily fish and vegetable sources are only available through food. In other words, they can't be processed by the body. Consuming the recommended amount of omega-3 fatty acids is important to maintaining heart health, preventing cancer and other health-enhancing properties.
I love the days the computer won't let me change colors or fonts. ERRR
Toni..Hang in there. I bet you'll be alright come weigh in. Are you loving your new applicances?
Mercee..WTG getting back on track. When we take those moments to enjoy ourselves the key is back to what we know we should be doing.
Ellen...Hubby's are good at getting us moving aren't they. Garlic chicken sounds good. I LOVE garlic.
Still no word on whether my equipment needs have been approved by insurance. I guess I should be on the phone fighting, but I just don't have any fight in me today.
Water aerobics had been canceled this morning because the teacher was sick. I stood at the counter, and considered paying and going in and swimming on my own, but laziness won and I came home instead. I am about to head up to Hobby Lobby to look for a few things I need for my class tomorrow night. I have a 40% off one item coupon....
A friend came over to get some art supplies from me and brought lunch. It was nice- she brought a salad from chick-fil-et. I think the corn and black bean salsa may have had mayo in it, and therefore some eggs, but I ate it anyway.
Well I am back to work today, but not feeling well at all. I actually felt better yesterday than today. I probably overdid it yesterday. We went to church and then DH & I cleaned some. I am really tired of feeling like this.
Ellen, I am so sorry about your machine. Not only for insurance and money purposes, but for your health in general. I hope you can get it soon. Maybe next time only use 20 cloves of garlic!
Mercee, that is wonderful about your meds getting changed. You are walking your way to a healthy you. Keep up the good work. We were supposed to get our treadmill tonight, but I am not sure I am up to going out there.
Crystle, no my GS still does not have any teeth. He has been cutting them since he was 3 months old. The dr can see them but we can't. My DD's friend's son (who was born the same day as ours) has had 2 teeth since 3 months. But believe me, he is eating like a pig. I hadn't seen him in over a week and I couldn't beleive how he had changed. He is getting a belly and his little cheeks are getting fuller. My new favorite snack is the Mr. Salty chocolate covered pretzels in the 100 calorie packs. Satisfies your need for chocolate and I like the sweet/salty combo.
Happy, Good job on getting into those new jeans. That is one great feeling. I know what you mean about the SF cough drops. I eat them like candy. Glad you are feeling better.
Toni, I bet you will be fine on WIW. Most importantly, jump back on track.
Guess I will jump off here. Surely tomorrow will be a better day. I keep saying that. Have a great day
Good evening. We just had dinner. I made pork chops, spinach and slaw. I'm thawing a turkey breast out to cook about Wed. I've been resting today from all our running around yesterday so tomorrow I'd better get off my duff and get to work.
Solly- Sorry you're not feeling well. Hope you get a good rest tonight.
Ellen- I sure wish you'd get your sleep stuff. Maybe you'll here something in the next couple of days. I sure hope so.
Crystle- Hope by Wed. your scales are moving down. Sounds like you had a busy week end. They had to take my new dryer back because they forgot to change it over to propane gas instead of natural gas. Boo hoo. Hope we have it soon.
Busy day at work just a drop by. All is well with me I had a great workout on my treadmill last night. I wasn't really hungry so I ate cereal for dinner. I am weird like that sometimes. Have a great day everyone.
Just finished breakfast. Ate a little more than I planned on but will make it up with a lighter lunch.
Yesterday my hubby started a little workout routine before work and include my youngest and myself. We'll see how that works out. So far so good. I even played a little on my step dad's total fitness gym. It was actually kinda neat. Hoping to find time to walk later as it is beautiful outside. It is going to be in the 70's this weekend. I can hardly wait.
Email Tip: Less Fat = More Pounds
Beware of the fat-free trap. Just because a food is low-fat or fat-free doesn't mean that you can adopt the all-you-can-eat mentality. Although a product may be low in fat, it is also supplemented with excess sugar and calories to maintain that satisfying taste. Therefore, you're doing your diet more harm than good by bingeing on those fat-free cakes, candies and cookies. If you want a true fat-free or low-fat snack, opt for fresh fruits and vegetables.
Okay ladies its hot tea and hummus with triscuits time. LOL Thats my afternoon snack. I'm thawing out some polish sausage to have with sauerkraut tonight. Have to have something quick for dinner so I can watch Biggest Loser tonight. WOOPIE. Looks like the board is a little slow today.
Crystle- How fun to have a workout time together. I think thats so neat. Hope you did okay on your eating today.
Mercee- Good going on that treadmill.....
Solly- Hope you're feeling better today. But worried you are sick.
Where is every body today? Hope ya'll are having a good day. I didn't get out and walk like I should but I did have a small workout with my guys. In the process of making dinner so I thought what a perfect time to pop in. Then I'll be thinking of ya'll if I want to eat too much..LOL Eating has been okay today.
Toni..I can't wait for biggest loser either. I missed it during the Olympics. Sorry you had to send the dryer back.
Good evening
Just relaxing after dinner. Felt better todaythen around noon I started feeling sick and dizzy again. i feel a little better now. Hope tomorrow I feel lots better.
Crystle, how nice you and your guys are working out together. Doing it early helps get it out of the way. 70 sounds wonderful. We are going to get up to 60 soi I am looking forward to that.
Toni, I'm glad you mentioned the BL. I had forgot all about it. Hope you don't have to wait too long for your dryer.
Mercee, I don't think I have ever eaten cereal for dinner but I know many who do. Good job on the We should get ours tomorrow or Thursday.
May be late tomorrow before I can get on. We have a proposal due at 1:30. Bl is starting so I am out of here.
