Good morning ladies,

Whew I am exhausted today. I got home around 11:00 from bunco but could not fall asleep I guess all that chatter and food keeps your mind going for awhile. Then I had to get up at 5:30 to get to my RA dr appt at 7:00. So I am dragging low today. Will be early to be tonight for sure.

I did go by the gym before bunco last night. Did not work up a sweat for obvious reasons. I did 10 min on the bike and 20 minutes of wts. Was not really "into" it. At least I went. I hope I can go tonight if I am not too tired.

TEch, you are not alone with staying on track. We all do it. I am doing the same thing. One day at a time. You can buy ww tortillia chips and baked ones also. At least they are not as bad or use Triscuits. Looking forward to your posts (or I will come looking for you again).

Ellen, thanks so much for the info. Hope you enjoy your visit with your friend's DD.

Crystle, You will love the chi. I have used several straight irons but nothing compares to the Chi. You will look like a new woman. Great tip today. So true.

Toni, hope your bak is feeling better today.

Nursedee, hope you are finally well. We are missing your posts.

Mercee, I hoped you haven't "walked" away.

Ok, gonna try to get some work accomplished here. It's gonna be tough. Have a great day.

Okay...today I'm having Kashi Go Lean for breakfast and will sneak in a banana with it in a minute. I have a really slow week this week and am looking forward to working on some of my crocheting projects...finishing up a hoodie for my grandnephew before he grows out of it, finishing up a cool curly pink scarf and matching mittens for Shelley Boo and then I have some verigated blue cotton yarn to make some pot holders and dishrags from.

We finally got our taxes back from federal, but our <insert expletive> governor has decided to keep all of our state taxes until further notice...not just ours, but everyone's so I'm told. Man, he is the worst governor I can remember. You know, he wants to close up a whole boatload of our State Parks. One is up the road from me, Keewaydin State Park...we used to camp there when I was a kid and they have this awesome olympic size pool. They say he wants to close the campground and pool, but leave open the marina...where there are gas pumps for the boaters, which equals tax dollars. You know, up here next to Canada, it is such a repressed area that REALLY relies on our campers and summer people...takign them away is going to really shoot us all in the foot. You know, Governor Patterson, there is more to NYS than NYCity! <insert expletive> A WHOLE LOT more...like an entire moutain range! Ugh! <insert expletive>

Okay...now that I'm done on my soapbox...I have to run...ttyl!!

Morning ladies:

I am still here. I had a 4 day vacation. Today is my first day back at work. I had a good time. My eating has been okay and I still am walking on my treadmill. I know the scales has said I remained the same the last 3 weeks but on Sunday I wore an outfit I couldn't fit it was way to tight before it fit beautifully on Sunday. I don't know what is going on.

Solly- I hope you Dr's appointment goes welll.

I haven't been on the boards since last weak. I will go and read the post and try to catch up.

Good morning everyone. Our internet was down yesterday so didn't get to post. My back is getting better every day but I'm afraid to walk on the treadmill yet. Had some wine on Sat. so hope it doesn't really mess up my weigh in tomorrow. If so I deserve it. But I can feel things are getting looser on me. Had halibut with brown rice and broccoli for dinner last night. Think we'll have a pork tenderloin tonight. Maybe I'll make some coleslaw to go with it.

Solly- You'd better flop on the couch tonight and get rested up. That was great you stopped by the gym on your way to Bunco last night. Good luck on the weigh in tomorrow.

techwife- Sounds as if you're keeping busy. How cool to make things. I loved your little hats on Etsy that time. Eating sounds good.....

Mercee-Don't you just love it when you starting losing inches.

Well off I go for right now.

I forgot to mention yesterday we got 6 inches of snow overnight. I got stuck in my driveway and I ended up shoveling snow for 2 hours plus I walked on the treadmill. Maybe I will see a loss tomorrow. LOL

Toni- Now if we could just transform these loose clothes into pounds. LOL

Have a great day everyone. I will try and check in later.

Good afternoon ladies,

Sound like WIW was good for you ladies. I am so excited for you. I didn't even weigh this morning. Yesterday I started coughing harder and harder (it has been coming on for the last couple days-more like a tickle). I went home and hit the couch and then went straight to bed. Seriously considered staying home today but felt some better this morning. I am coughing like a fog horn. My chest hurts. I had the dr listen to my lungs yesterday and she said they were clear. Go figure. So I am taking cough meds and cough drops. I know there is sugar in the syrup as it is crystalized around the rim. At least my DD got my SF cough drops. I don't feel like going to the gym so that will have to wait. Eating has been ok. I did have tomato soup for lunch just b/c nothing sounded good. I have veggie soup made for dinner.

Mercee; Great job on your 3 lbs. Plus you being able to wear and outfit you hadn't been able to wear is even better. Keep up the good work.

Toni, I am so happy that you lost 2.5 lbs That is great. I am sure a little wine won't hurt. Glad your back is getting better. They say walking is supposed to help your back, but after our walk Sat, mine was killing me.

Tech, I know what you mean about politics. They don't consider what is good for all the people.

See everyone tomorrow.

Default Good afternoon

Congratulations to all of this weeks losers!!!

I didn't do so well this week but at least it wasn't up. Lost two of last weeks plus four.

We had a wonderful snowy evening last night. It was melting even before we got home but it was so cool to watch. The boys even played in it a bit. First of all we never get snow and this is our second flurry this year. Amazing.

Email Tip:
Make Sensible Substitutions
A great way to cut calories is to make smart substitutions. There's nothing sensible about swapping French fries for a loaded baked potato stuffed with bacon, cheese, butter and sour cream. In order for substituting to save calories, you have to make wise choices. Opt for the grilled chicken sandwich with Dijon mustard on a whole wheat bun instead of a fried chicken sandwich with mayonnaise. Instead of the fettuccine alfredo, go for angel hair with marinara. Draw on your nutrition knowledge to make the healthiest choices.
More Tips

Solly...hope you feel better soon.

Love and hugs,
Crystle

Hello, everyone! I forgot to weigh this morning. I went to water aerobics, came home and had to get ready for my silk painting ladies. They came, hung around, and I actually left a few of them here in my house when I had to leave to go to the sleep doctor. I liked him, he was very nice, treated me very well, etc. Unfortunately, I have to get my machine from someplace else, so I don't have it yet. I am rather frustrated about that. Saturday is March 1, when our deductible year starts over, and getting the machine by Friday may save me $1000. So I am pushing.

I took some chicken soup over to a young couple we know. They are both sick and they have a three month old baby. I visited a bit...I hope I don't get what they have.

One curious thing happened today. When I went to the doctors, they took my blood pressure and it was fantastic. Usually its high. I can only figure that the water aerobics are just that good for me.

I need to go do my evening chores so I can go to bed.

Good morning ladies:

I am feeling really tired. I laid for a nap after work and woke up at 11:00 p.m. I was to tired to walk on my treadmill last night. I didn't even eat dinner. Oh well. I will try to get to it tonight. I hope I am not coming down with anything.

Ellen- I hope you find your machine before March1st. I'm happy to see that your blood pressure is normal. Keep working out. Great job!

I hope our thread doesn't die out. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning ladies. All is fine here. Had a good day yesterday with my eating. I made spraggetti with pesto for dinner last night. Had a small portion with some broccoli. Got to get ready for my new washer and dryer coming tomorrow hopefully. Can't wait.

Solly- I hope you're feeling better today.

Mercee- Oh no not you too. We're getting alot of winter sickies here. LOL Hope you can get some rest today.

Ellen- It will be so good when you get your machine. I can't believe how really good you're doing. This is really your year.

Crystle- You're awfully quiet lately. Losing two is great.

Well think I'll look around the internet and drink coffee. Be back later.
