Hey everyone!

Great job mjkiddo! It must feel so great to finish the 90 days! :) How's INSANITY? Is it mostly cardio? It sounds intimidating!!

Sue: I'm just starting the lean phase today...and I honestly did not see any weight loss until about the last week/week and a half of push. If I try to pinpoint anything that I may have done wrong in the first month of the program, it would be my eating. I use mydailyplate to keep track of my calories...and it recommends 1350 for me to lose a pound or so a week...BUT their calorie counting gives you extra calories for your workouts. However, ChaLEAN recommends 1300 for me without adding extra for exercise...so I cut back on my calories a little more and that may have helped. I'm always worried about starvation mode, but it seems to be working. I've also heard the Lean Phase is where you see the most weight/fat loss, so here's hopin'!

As for me, I'm on Day 61 today and I'm still loving this program. I'm excited to do Lean Phase 1 tonight. I've lost 7lbs so far and inches everywhere...my clothes are fitting so much better. After finishing the Push Phase, my recommendation can only be....LIFE HEAVY! Seriously heavy. Sometimes I would up my weights 5 lbs between weeks. Seriously! My increased weight loss coincides with my decision to lift VERY heavy, so that might have helped!

Now that I'm in the Lean Phase, I was wondering if Chalene recommends a different amount of calories or a different fat/protein/carb ratio? I didn't receive everything in my purchase that I was told I would receive so I don't have the full-on food guide. Could anyone help me and let me know if there's a difference in food for the phases? Thank you so much in advance!!

You did get the whole thing if you got the food guide THATS all she gives you from what I understand THATS all I got with mine and mine was sealed! I think her threory at least in the readings I have done on BB site by her and her motivation tape and the food dvd is you know by now how to make the right choices I THOUGHT it was rather vauge. Maybe someone else here can acutully point an arrow on where they are getting there info because I SURE couldn't find it and sure was wondering?
AND YES INSANITY IS ALL CARDIO ON STERIODS!!!!!

I thought she mapped out somewhere the fats/proteins/carbs she recommended? Maybe not. So she just tells you how many calories? Does anyone worry that 1300 calories is too little considering we're working out almost daily and trying to build muscle? I'm concerned I need to eat more protein to build the muscle, but I'm already at my calorie limit. Hmmm.

INSANITY sounds like fun though. Is it 90 days? How's it going??

I eat more than that but I am not trying to lose but maintain I follow CLEAN EATING DIET which is really balanced low carbs higher proteins fresh foods not processed.
INSANITY is 60 day I finish tomarro!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't know for sure what I am doing next!

Hello - everyone is working so hard I am impressed. I have done 2 circuits of burn circuit and have so far lost 14 lbs and 9 inches. I stared to months ago. I just received INSANITY this week and holy s**t it is crazy! To be honest I thought my weight loss would have been more since I have so much to lose but I am understanding that muscle mass is part of the equation. I have reduced my salt and carb intake so we will see how it goes. Keep on truckin everyone!

DONE!!!!60 DAYS OF INSANITY CHALEAN DOUBLES and 4 months total of Chalean with kickboxing the other 2 months as the double YEAH!!! Really firmed up lower half and midsection will start agian this next week on Burn and Month one Insanity!

Girl, you are my inspiration! I'm starting the Lean for Life phase and I'll do it for 2 months, so it matches the Insanity 60 days program. I did the Burn Circuit 1 and the Fit Test (Insanity). CLX warmed me up very nicely for Insanity. :) I asked you something on the Insanity thread... I would really appreciate an answer because I really want to do thing right.

I did 90 days of CLX with awesome results and I did it with Turbo Jam.

That's fantastic!!! You must feel fantastic about your accomplishments!! You did ChaLEAN and Insanity at the same time?? Is that what you mean by doubles? Whew!

I think after Chalean I'm going to do P90X all the way. I've never been more than 50 days through P90X without something getting in the way...the videos are so long, but I just have to do it!

Does anyone recommend whether I should or should not do the lean for life month? I'm considering skipping it and just starting P90X? or are there results I should see during that month??

That would be totally up to you I did not see anything major on the lean for life phase kinda like a maintence thing. I have started a round two of Chalene and insanity so am back at burn phase again. I have suumers of from work so will switch in summer to P90x and Insanity when I have more time,
P90x IS A FANTASTIC PROGRAM it is much slower and longer than Chalene but I loved it I did 3 rounds of it and ot basically the body and stregth I have from it...I did Cardio Kickboxing everyday with it, BUT p90x IS A TIME commitment. I MISS TONY!!! If you have the time and equipment I say JUMP IN!!!

This is my first post on this website...i came here because i ordered CE YESTERDAY! I'm so psyched about getting it (but scared to death at the same time)...i've been off and on active (very sporadic)..but never enough to lose weight...

currently i weigh around 213, 5'7'' (BMI-33-ish)....so i have a ways to go before i see definition or even a fit body...I'm hoping to see lots of toning and my fat shredding as i get into CE..i have my sister doing the workouts with me..so i know i can't flake out of it...

I'm really excited about this! and from all the reviews i read, and from the posts i've read here, i feel like this one is really not a scam...i jus have to be fully committed to it..

i'm expecting to meet someone (wink wink) by the end of july..and i really want to look good..for myself first but for him also :)..i wanna feel good about myself and being in my own skin...

I've never been fit/skinny/healthy weight...EVER..and i really hope this is the answer, the beginning of a long and healthy journey!

i would really like support from my fellow sisters (hope ya'll don't mind me calling u that) to push me thru to the end...

I should be getting CE next week sometime!! woohooo!!
did anyone use any "check off calendars" or anything..if so, where did u find them?

You're gonna love CLX. I love Chalene to death and she is the main reason I sticked to this program.

I suggest that you do the program as it is "prescribed". By the end of the first month you'll see that you are stronger and you might want to add some extra cardio on your workouts (I did ChaLEAN with Turbo Jam and got the best results). But only if you can manage it. Stay within your limits!

And the most important thing is: don't give up. Do it. Don't make excuses. Do it. And we're here for you! :)

do you find that the CLX cardio is tedious after a bit? I am in the second week of PUSH phase and have added 2 extra days of Turbo Jam cardio each week to the program.... (I could tell after BURN month I needed more to rev up weight loss).

Anyway, I am thinking of replacing one of the other CLX cardio videos with a TurboJam. I am just NOT loving the cardio.

Do you think this would be ok? Or hinder progress?

It will just help it. I would do everything she gives you and more I personally need lots of cardio to lose any weight or should I say to keep weight off! I do Chalene and Insanity I don't recomend that I am just sayng that IT IS A GOOD thing to add a bit more cardio and turbo jam is GREAT! I LOVE CARDIO KICKBOXING !!!!

Well, I did Turbo Jam 6x a week with ChaLEAN. It helped and kicked the whole thing up a notch. The cardios of CLX weren't my favs, I did them because it came with the program. Now I finished the 90 days program, I'm doing the CLX weightlifting and as a cardio I'm using Insanity and Turbo Jam. Today I did the Insane's Cardio Recovery + TJ's Cardio Party 3. I'm happy the way things are going. :)
