I know what you mean about Tony - not my favorite personality. I have P90X but don't want to do it until after CLX. I may start mixing it together once I get two months of CLX in. I don't usually stick with the calendar plans they give with their routines - I take them and mix a variety of workouts together and just keep my core routine on plan (as much as I feel the need to haha). Your life, play by your rules, just gotta figure out what they are lol :)

Thanks so much for you motivating words i need them very much i have get out of this rotten mode: About P90x was doing the classic phase right by the calendar stay right on schedule up until week 3 got sick took 4 days off went back to week 3 then on week 5 few things happen with my son (school work) and i fell off schedule again was off for 7 days started back up monday and its now Thursday and i havent had the motivation to start back up since i feel as i messed up the routine ........I know i need to do it and finish it i want too but i just feel i already lost 5 weeks and actually have gained weight in that whole mess of 5 weeks of "p90x"
as far as my eating i am working that out, i try to eat clean most days but have set backs mostly during that time of the month i cant control them at all on that time i dont know why is there any sugestions girls on that!!!!!!! :(
I will post again tonight i am at work and took a quick peak!

Oh you're welcome :) I would just start back up with P90x wherever you feel comfortable and feel like you aren't cheating yourself! I think starting back at week 5 would be good, but it's your preference really :)

I try to eat as healthy as I can before that time of the month - because I know I am going to have ice cream a few times during that time hahaha :)

Whats a good day of eating look like to you? what do you normally eat on a daily basis can you give a days sample! and 1 weekends sample! i can stay on track 100% during my work week then on the weekends all the running arround and cleaning and kids i dont eat much or i grab something not soooo healthy!

Yes of course :) On weekdays I generally have:

- 1 6 oz. Protein Shake 30 minutes before my workout
- 1.5 Cups of Cereal; 3 egg white sandwich (with melted low-fat cheese on top); or Oatmeal for breakfast after workout
- Activia Light non-fat yogurt for a snack
- Wheat tortilla casadilla (low fat mozzarella with some salsa on top); chicken and/or fish salad; tuna and/or turkey sandwich for lunch
- 1 cup of mixed nuts for snack #2
- 6 oz. of fish or chicken breast with a vegetable for dinner (this is usually when I have my serving of fruit also)

(If I get hungry later after dinner I will have another 6 oz. Protein Shake)

I pretty much each the same on the weekends unless I am out - then I don't count haha. But I figure since I stay on track 5 out of 7 days - it won't affect me too much. But whenever I am out I still try to eat either fish or chicken and try not to choose anything fried.

Hi all, I stumbled upon this when looking for reviews for the CEX videos ... since I had already received the CD's, not sure why I'm looking for reviews now ...

I have just finished week 1 of Burn & so far I'm impressed & really enjoying it. I mostly workout in the morning before work so I found on the interval/burn it off days I didn't have enough time (I can only get up so early)

Does anyone also do cardio (treadmill/walking/eliptical) on the weight days & rest days? I found that on my rest day (Tuesday) I didn't feel like I was getting enough cardio. I was also thinking that the ab routines could be done three times a week (with weight days) as opposed to only once?

Hi all,

I started Day 1 last Sunday after having a couple of weeks off since I finished Insanity. The end of Insanity for whatever reason left me very unmotivated, and it was tough to start. I really did not workout at all in the last week, except for that first day, so I am starting my Day 1 Chalean again today, and I am committing to sticking to it. You guys are my witnesses! I am committing to reporting on this site every day once I am done my workout. I need to be held accountable! So here we go. I am about to do Day 1 again, and will report back once I have done so. :-)

Edited at 5:22pm - I did it! I did Burn Circuit 1 and a 20 min hips/buns/thighs from Hip Hop Abs. I have also made myself a very comprehensive schedule for the first month -Burn Phase - it's a 6 day a week program with 3x week cardio plus a 20-30 min add-on after each burn circuit.

Hey MSM! Enjoy! This week is the first week I am feeling burnt out - not sure if its the working out or not - but I finally took a true day off today. Usually I do Turbo Jam or Insanity on my days off but I just couldn't today haha! :)

I sometimes have a protein shake after my workout (I do it at 5am cant eat that early) or i make a 3 egg white's on wheat bread/english muffin no cheese w.turkey slices ...Coffee (light cream + spleanda)...or cereal Kashi w/banana in it skim milk ....or Oatmeal (i dont like the plain kinds though :()
sometimes i may just eat egg whites like 3 or 4 .......
Lost of water at least 2 to 3 liters
am snack: greek yogurt
lunch: left over supper from night before (chicken,lean beef,pork) lots of veggies or Tuna sandwich w.a fruit / or weigh watchers meals.....water
pm snack: a banana w/natural peanut butter or apples and nuts ....or
for healthy cravings i buy some all fruit frozen pops or weight watchers pops!
(what kind of protien shakes do you like???)

Well it sounds like you are eating well. My husband is in the military and we are stationed away from my work right now, so I telecommute which makes my current schedule pretty easy to workout around. On most days I wake up at 4:30 to workout with a friend though. But when she leaves for work, I do 2 more workout videos. Come June we'll be moving back and I will have to find time to workout again :/ - not excited about that!

My all time favorite Protein Shake is GNC Whey Protein in French Vanilla! It is the only shake I've ever had that doesn't taste like a protein shake. I mix it with skim or 1% milk though, not water.

I need to buy some healthy snacks like fruit frozen pops. I just started eating celery with peanut butter for snacks and I love them - haven't done that since I was a kid so it was nice haha :)

I did Push Circuit 1 again today - biceps are burning (def was not in the mood to workout at all ugh)

What do you plan on doing after P90X?

Hello all! How is everyone doing? It is a long weekend here in Canada and the weather is absolutely gorgeous!! I did my workout this morning -yay! It was technically the day off in the Chalean schedule, but I did the Cardio Party from Turbo Jam. First time doing it - I liked it! Super fun! Anyway, I feel good, am all sweaty, and am ready to take a shower and head out to enjoy this beautiful day! I hope you all are well and are getting your work out in.

I should be done with p90x come middle of July! Cant wait!

I have to do it in the am's because my children take up my afternoons!

yes the healthy snacks really help to have them arround, i mean sometimes there is no stopping me from having that peace of brownie :D but i try my best to pass by it. Its sooooooooo hard sometimes specially that time of the month! Oh well!

Oh I wish I was in Canada! It is rainy here today! I am trying to convince myself to do my other 2 cardio workouts later today haha - usually I do them at the same time but I had some stuff to do this morning so I had to put them off! Good job on your workouts though you two!!!

Turbo Fire! Ahhh! I am super excited about that workout! It is like Insanity but more fun! I never could finish Insanity because I got burnt out (I was way out of shape when I tried starting with that) and because it was just too repetitive! I just never looked forward to doing Insanity. Turbo Fire looks like the perfect workout for me - I'm super excited about that! Wish it was coming out sooner so I could mix it in with CLX :)

Yeah I don't have any kids yet - thats actually why I'm getting in the best shape of my life now. Hubby & I want to start soon but I want a perfect body first so that it is easier to maintain after haha... not sure if that method will work but I've convinced myself that it will lol!

I broke down over the weekend and had a LARGE (yes large) Ice Cream from Dairy Queen haha... I was bad! So what workout is on your schedule tomorrow? If I don't do my 2 Turbo Jam's today I will have to do them tomorrow on my day off.

Thats funny large! I actually took the kids for ice-cream but i still ordered a small size one and it was plenty ....why because its not that time of the month hahahah!!! you will burn that large ice-cream in 2 workouts! :carrot:
I did Back & Biceps will do Abs tonight after supper and my sons baseball game! i hope i dont end up missing it due to running out of time!
Tom AM i have Yoga X and i hate hate it! I May do Plyometrics instead!
I been very focus with my eating lately i hope i stay there for a while!
I am reading this self help book its pretty good its called: Woman Food and God (Geneen Roth) its a good one!

Turbo fire cant come out soon enough! Looks like fun and with Chalenes personality it will be a blast!
