i just did my first workout of CLX & I have to say that I loved it so much more than the JM workouts that i have.

If you guys want the workout sheets, you can either google for 'chalean workout calendar' OR join the free Team BeachBody, then click "Get Fit" and under Fitness Tools, you should see the workout sheets.

resistance bands?
I'm just about done with 30ds and strongly considering doing chilean extreme next. Is it possible to use resistance bands instead of hand weights throughout?
I have a set of 3lb and a set of 5lb, and just bought a full set of resistance bands, so if possible I'd prefer not to spend additional $ at the moment. thanks! |

Almost finished with week 3 of the burn phase. I don't know if I have lost much weight but I feel much stronger. I've been really good on the strength training days and I've been eating fairly clean. However, I've been bad at doing the cardio. I just really hate cardio and I REALLY hate doing cardio videos! I'm thinking of maybe starting C25K instead. I did it in the fall and I really liked running.

Do you have different size resistant bands or just one size? Using the resistance bands should be plenty because you can rearrange them to make the resistance as strong as you'd like it to be.

Have you tried Turbo Jam? I know the TJ fat burner video comes as a bonus on one of the CLX dvd's. I'm not big on boring cardio but I really love TJ cardio just because you don't really think about the fact that you are working out, plus with weighted gloves it burns burns burns!

Yeah, I have a bunch of sizes - I ordered them as a set off of amazon as a smaller/cheaper alternative to a weight set.
As for the whole "using them properly" thing, I dunno. I guess that's what youtube is for, right? ;) Quote:

Hi all still in the process of my BIG move with usband home on vacation but getting in as many doubles as possible in the last 4 days I have done PUSH 1/2/3 and 3 of my INSANITYS and have been on a hike but have missed o SLEW of days in the last few weeks since MOTHERS DAY when this whole thing started . ITS great to see so many new people I posted here sometimes and on the Insanity site as I do both. BUT AM REALLY EXCITED NOW AFTER HEARING ABOUT TURBO FIRE!!!!

I took yesterday off and ate pie and ice cream haha ...so today I did Chalean Burn It Off & Recharge plus TJ's Cardio Party. :)
