Hiya, OhThePlaces. I have had a similar relapse (without any excuse on my end). I am also working my way back down from the high 150's.

Your trip sounds like fantastic motivation to get in shape, LovesToTravel! Losing weight is one thing, fitness quite another, though they go best hand-in-hand. Hate to see you go again, but I hope you are back in the 130's soon!

My weigh-in today was down to 147.8. Hope it sticks long enough for me to claim 148 this time!

Mini-whoosh down to 147.0 this morning! One more day at or below 148.0 and I will nudge the ticker down.

Tonight we are eating out so that might bump up the scale. It might not be a deal-breaker though. One of the most maintenance-friendly things about my plan is that it is relatively easy to eat dinner out and stay on plan. But if the scale does bump up, it will just be a blip. The important thing for me, since my plan is so squishy (no counting) is to make sure the trend is good. So the move down today makes me very happy!

Congrats on the mini-whoosh, yoyoma! Sounds like you're on a very sensible eating plan so any potential blips won't be a big deal. Fingers crossed you're able to move that ticker down though.

I'm really looking forward to the hiking trip and I like to exercise, but even 30 minutes a day seems to kick my appetite into overdrive. I'm trying to structure my workouts around hearty meals with protein and carbs so I won't be raiding the pantry later on in the day.

Hello 140's 3fc's!

My weigh-in this morning was 149.6 so I am making my debut in this thread.

I don't consider myself a featherweight, since though I've lost 35 pounds, I still have 35 more to go. But I feel better than I have in a long time and I am working my way through the various sizes in my garage. Making progress!

Slow and steady wins the race, they say.

I am on a special diet plan called JUDDD. It's an intermittent fasting/calorie cycling plan (you can google it). It has UpDays and DownDays (high cal & low cal days). Today is an UpDay so I have a lot of healthy but yummy foods planned.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi again, Shrinking! Glad you are in the 140's forum now!

Despite eating out last night, I am still at 147.0 this morning, so I am moving the ticker down to 148! I did very well for dinner (Chinese food), less well afterward (stopped in at a Chinese bakery).

I'm going to wait at least a few more days for the 147 milestone. I'd like to see something a bit lower before I call it.

I was 146.8 this morning. But I will put off calling 147 until at least the end of the week, then reassess how I'm doing.

The week ahead is tough for me. Stuff (food) goings-on at work and at home. Not sure whether I should plan to abstain or not. I will discuss it with hubby and see what makes sense. I want to do what I would do if I were in maintenance.

Popped up to 148.0 this morning. Glad I wasn't tempted to notch the ticker down. On top of that we are eating out tonight so I expect a further blip up tomorrow. Still happy with the trend.

Yoyoma hang in there. Fluctuations are normal. There is a downward trend over time and that is all that matters.

As for me, I weighed in at 148.6 this morning.

Thanks for the welcome yoyoma! Well done on getting down even after Chinese, sounds like your plan is a good one as the main thing is you’re heading down in the long term like shr1nk1ngme says (Welcome shr1nk1ngme!!) – what plan is it or what does it entail?

Hey to you OhThePlaces! Waking up at 4:15 to hit the gym – wow, you are hardcore!!

Welcome back LovesToTravel, hope your stay isn’t too long – no offence!!

Had a good few days of NSVs, including getting into some old clothes, rowing machine for a full hour, and my boss (who is not one to notice much) said 'You look...(searches for adjective which won't offend me and other women in the office)...different, nice, um I mean, good, um have you changed your hair?ŽI said no but thanked him anyways lol.

Fantastic, Vix! Hilarious about your boss.

I weighed in at 147.8 this morning. I'm good with that. I really wasn't prepared mentally for 147 yet. Frankly, I don't want to get all excited about speedy weight loss. I want to drift downward and transition seamlessly into maintenance.

Today is free pizza for Engineer's Week at work. I considered making a maintenance-friendly exception for this very off-plan type of eating for me but this week has already been filled with unusual eating circumstances. So I decided to opt out of the headcount. There's still likely to be pizza-pushers in my face though, so I am announcing here that I am going to stay strong and post back here tomorrow for accountability.

Best wishes to everyone else today and this week!

Yoyoma I love your attitude toward your weight loss journey. I too am trying to take on the no hurry approach, at least I am now. When I first jumped back in it I was just ready to get back to goal the quickest way possible.

Thanks, ShaMac! I will be so happy if my approach works all the way to maintenance beyond. Better late than never!

I did manage to avoid the pizza yesterday and had a cup of hot coffee to sip while we socialized. To be honest, I wasn't really tempted. I wasn't hungry at all (my body is pretty used to my schedule now) and ppl at work are used to my opting out of free goodies so no one even pushed the pizza. Today I weighed in at 147.4, so everything's good!

Wow, everybody is keeping such a positive attitude and working hard. Nice job, guys!

My weekly weigh-in is later today so I don't know if I've lost anything just yet, but I'm feeling good and my pants are now requiring a belt so that's something to celebrate. Also been tweaking my calories this week, trying to shave off a few here and there, nothing too drastic. And doing 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmill regularly.

Yes yoyoma, great attitude, there's no point rushing down - I weighed in today and I'm down by just over a pound this week to 147.3 - I think this 140s decade is going to be a slow one but I'm ok with that. I'm 5'6" so I'm in the normal range for my height now and anything more I lose is more for health, toning and making sure I'm safely in my zone rather than just on the edge. So, I'm going to up my gym routine next week and see if I can get an instructor to tell me what's best to work my problem areas - stomach and the backs of my arms. Any one have any tips?

Have a great weekend everybody!!
