My weight is down to 146.6 this morning and since today is another DownDay I expect that number to be a bit lower tomorrow morning.
Whoops! Missed that, sorry. Fingers crossed you'll see a lower number on the scale again tomorrow.

Shrinking, glad you've finished your fat fast. I hope the ketosis helps you lose more going forward!

LTT, hope you get over your cold soon. DD just caught one so we are all taking some echinacea. Walking is currently my only form of exercise. I use a treadmill with my laptop on it (I'm on the treadmill now) and that way it doesn't take any extra time. That's hard to beat in my book!

I was back on plan yesterday and the scale dipped back down to 146.4 this morning.

yoyoma: Thanks, I hope your DD's cold moves on quickly and spares the rest of your household. And I love your multitasking abilities! I normally do some interval routines on the treadmill so reading's a bit hard (not that I haven't tried and nearly broken my neck doing it, heh), but I do like to listen to audiobooks on my ipod. Makes the time go by so much faster too, doesn't it?

My official weigh-in this week has me up a pound at 140, but Aunt Flo also came to visit. I've been really good with my food and exercise all week so I'm just chalking this week's gain up to TOM and all of the extra fluids I've been sucking down the past 3 days.

145.8 this morning. Woot!

I am going on retreat so I expect a small jump when I weigh in again on Monday morning.

I still have lots to do to pack & get ready (leaving at noon) so I have to be brief. Stay strong everyone!

Have a great time shr1nk1ng!! The fat fast sounds hard going, glad it did the job though and you can get back to normal!

LTT, for sure you'll be back down once your TOM goes, I always get this leap and then a drop down after.

In fact, finished my TOM earlier this week and had a loss of 1.3 and a bit, but I'm rounding up to 146. Feeling good and more like myself now, excited to only have 11 pounds to go, this sounds like a very doable number now!!

Have a great weekend everyone!

LTT, sorry to see you go, but I'm betting when Aunt Flo leaves, so will you (from the 140's)!

Shrinking, I hope the retreat is fantastic!

Vix, congrats on the loss! It feels so good to see goal on the horizon.

It's a new month and the scale helped me celebrate with a loss. Down to 146.0 this morning! I won't even think about moving the ticker down until I see how it goes next week, but it's always nice to see the right trend!

I reached my first level of reward yesterday with my pedometer. We have a program at work that literally pays us for walking (or running) and each level earns $100. It really does add to my motivation.

And the scale had another nice surprise for me today: 145.6! Shrinking and Vix, we are all very close in weight right now (unless you guys have moved)!

Yes, I'm going to say I'm officially out of here today. Farewell for now (and hopefully not for long!), ladies. Good luck!

I'm going to join in if that's ok!?

My first mini goal is to get out of the 140's. I've been hovering between 145 142 lb for what seems like ages and ages.

For the past 5 days, despite anything I do, the scale says 143.2 no more no less, exactly the same every morning! Wierd - usually I fluctuate quite a bit through the week. I did notice this morning though that from being 34% Body Fat, the scale said 33%. I have no idea how accurate this set of scales is but hey - I'll take whatever I can get! :-)

Hopefully this week will bring me a little closer to 140.

Welcome, MarthaMay, please join us! Hope you can budge the scale soon. Down in body fat is great though!

Bye LTT, congrats! Sum, I wish I could come keep you company but I'm practicing form rather than speed, so I'm afraid it will be a while before I qualify for a 130's thread.

Yesterday, I had a guest come with a (surprise) mardi gras cake. Dinner was on plan but dessert was not (we are talking just a normal size piece) and as a result the scale was up to 147.0. I guess that's a good reminder to keep practicing my form!

Hey zumbachica! Glad there is another new one here. We'll do it!!!

Once again, this morning the scales sat at 143.2. This is pretty wierd. I don't think I've ever had such a stable weight....what is going on with my body!?

Oh well, maybe after Thursday's fast.....

Welcome, zumbachica! Sorry you are having trouble getting started with Atkins. Maybe you have a lot of off-plan foods in the house sabotaging your plan?

marthamay, have you tried replacing the battery in your scale? Here's an experiment to try. Try supporting yourself a *little* (about two pound's worth) while weighing on the scale. Then weigh yourself again legit. I've done experiments with my digital scale, and I'm convinced that it has a memory of recent readings and is inclined to repeat the same number (I think the scale designers think this is a feature). You might have a "sticky" scale and maybe if the battery is low the scale is even lazier/stickier than usual. Still, that's an amazing run of stability.

No problems yesterday and I was down to 146.4 this morning.
