Cuddlebug...prayers for your grand daughter....how old is she? That has to be very painful..
Praise reports>>> My oldest daughter has a new job, a place to live nearby within walking distance for an almost reasonable price, and a new car my husband is fixing up for her. She wont' be moving until July 1st, and I know i will be very lonely when she leaves.
My son who needed the internship, has gotten one. Not the one he desired, but at $15 an hour, he isn't too upset!
My married son, was having car trouble, and they traded in his car he had just got less than a year ago, for a more fuel efficient one, which they hope will serve him well since he will put many miles on it going to work 45 miles each day.
Request...RAIN...oh we so need it here, we had drought last summer and most of the winter and spring. DH's garden is dying and we can't afford to water since we pay, and do not have a well. He planted potatoes, tomatoes, zucchini, etc, and our strawberry patch is nearly dead and the strawberries that were there, are not edible.
auntnelly, good news about your daughter's job and your son's internships. Car problems can be so frustrating. praying that your son's car will give him good service and good mileage
PRAYERS NEEDED ~ Late Friday afternoon, a plain crashed at our local airport becuz of the strong storm winds. The pilot and one passenger were killed; and (edited) one other passenger was injured (listed as critical).
I don't know the name of the deceased pilot as he was a fill-in from a neighbouring city, but the other deceased man was Glen Higgs, so have been praying for his family. Plus the critical man is one of our town counsellors, Bob Hutchison -- also praying for the rest of the families too. Thanks, partners.

THANKS, BARGOO ~ I know the families will surely appreciate it (I was talking to one the other day and told him we would pray for Bob and the others too). I would have come in sooner but my internet was down until today. They think the storms knocked it out. I know how to fix it now; so I learned something new too.
CUDDLEBUGS ~ ^prayers^ going up for your Grand-daughter and family during this tuff time ...
NELLY ~ Praize GOD for answering prayers for both your daughter and your son, Samuel (for that good-paying job); plus we pray your married son's newer car will be good for him; and of course, for more -- Texas always needs more rain ...

UPDATE ON PLANE CRASH ~ great news; the fourth man did not get on the plane as he chose to pass on that flight, so he's now at home safe & sound. BOB H is doing fine: he has a broken leg and ribs, but they had him listed as critical becuz they were concerned about internal injuries. Thanks for all your prayers ...

PRAYER REQUEST ~ My cousin, CINDY S, broke her nose on Monday (her 18-month old grand-daughter fell on top of her when they were playing; her head hitting Cindy's nose). It is quite swollen and she is still in some pain. Plus, she had extremely high blood pressure this past weekend with pain in her arm (about 211/140?). Doctors did some tests to try to find the cause; no answers yet. So, prayers for her broken nose to heal quickly, relief of pain; and for her blood pressure to normalize again are very appreciated. Thanks Partners ...
We got a call this afternoon from Mike's (our son) caseworker in Colorado. He had a seizure on the bus coming home from his Goodwill Day program lasting longer than 6 minutes. He is at the ER and his caseworker is with him. I don't have a whole lot more info. yet but will update you when I do. Please keep him in your prayers.
I guess I should explain more.... Mike is our son who is handicapped and lives in Colorado. He is at a group home and seems very happy there. He has had seizures since he was 16 months old (the first being 5 gran mall seizures in 5 hours!) very scary for a new mom only 21 years old. He has been taking medication and has been doing very well. His last seizure was last year. So I am hoping this is just another time that they will need to run more tests and adjust his meds. Still pretty hard when he lives in Colorado and I in MO. We did look to see about transfering him to a group home here when we moved but nothing available close and he is just very happy where he is and we are very happy with his care. He is 39 now and has never been able to speak and is in a wheel chair... never really had "label" put on what he is diagnosed with other than a epileptic seizure disorder. He did walk at 19 months and then had a stroke when he was 12 years that left his left side partially paralyzed and now is in a wheel chair. But always has a smile and happy to see everyone.
