yes, that is helpful information.
I had a list of questions, both mine, some from the internet and a list from 2 of MIL's daughters, but since he was not talking about treatment yet, there really wasn't too much to ask. I had done some research before the apt so I understood the terms he used so I didn't have to ask questions about those things.
He may have said "hormonal" treatment, or hormone pill, who really knows, but I believe it is what you are doing. He tried to keep it very very simple for MIL, I believe. He just said "pill" and that is what she remembered, that maybe all she would need was to take a "pill".
She gets confused very easily, even when I was just talking about them sending the apt times in the mail, she looked at me like it was a chore for her to follow what I was saying.
That is a very fast turn around for the results you have with your tests. The main test he is waiting on is the genetic testing on the cancer itself with is no less than 3 to 4 weeks.
I will probably call today or tomorrow, I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet about apts.
Edit: I called the Drs office and they said that the tests won't even be until mid June because they don't need to be. She will be seen back in the office on June 22. Nurse said that if it was important, the tests would have all been done in a week and she would have been asked to come back sooner.

Reason: edit
I haven't had genetic testing so can't give any thoughts on that. It is always good news if they tell you we don't need them right now. If ever they call you at home and tell you to come right in, that is the time to worry. It sounds like everything is under control. Just for info some of the meds I have taken,I took Evista for several years I took Evista from the first time I had cancer and when it had spread and then was changed to Arimidex, I took that a couple of years and now am on Exemestane for the last 6 months. I probably wouldn't share this with you MIL but thought you might like to know about the meds in case you hear any of them mentioned.
Update Randy DIL said the plan is to have him come HOME today !! I have yet to hear he is home, but things are in order. He sill will need a walker or cane for walking and is diabetic due to the pancreas being damaged in the infection. I continue to pray for complete and total healing.
Also I feel lead to pray for spiritual healing for the family with him expressing something the Lord has been showing him to his family. They are believers, but they do not embrace all of God's promises for their lives. Please agree with me that God will turn them to Himself in a way they have not yet experienced.
PRAIZE GOD, NELLY ~ that's wonderful news about RANDY -- am sending up more prayers for continued healing, and that GOD's Love will be revealed to them all in a special way through this experience.
PRAYER REQUEST ~ for DANIS TOUTTIT -- Danis is in the hospital again for observation for pains in her chest (angina); she did just have a stent installed in one of her valves, so they are watching that. She also has severe diabetes and just recently started kidney dialysis. I have put this young lady in the on-going current prayer list on page 1, as she could use regular prayers. Thanks Warriors ...

PRAYER REQUEST ~ Our poor neighbour has to go to the funeral of his 18 y/o nephew -- on the weekend, he was riding his motorcycle home and tried to miss a deer that ran out in front of him. Sadly, he went into the ditch and passed away. The man is so devastated; he can hardly speak. He has to drive some distance to the funeral during the night (it's down south), so we've sent up ^prayers^ for him, and the young man's family & friends too. He showed us this handsome young man's recent graduation picture. What a tragedy for this family. May GOD comfort them all with His Love and Peace at this time ... thanks Partners!
