60 min on the elliptical (Hr = 165-170)
45 min UB/Abs with trainer (and its always harder with the trainer looking over your shoulder)

3.2mile run last night. Would have like to have gone farther, but my shoes were giving my feet some discomfort. Time to go shoe shopping again.

Got to the gym very late last night....
28 minutes treadmill
15 minutes arctrainer
about 20 crunches on the ab roller thing.

Question: there's an ab machine at the gym, how many should I do to start out with. I never used it before and did only about 20 last night. I felt like I could have done a lot more but wasn't sure if I'd end up with stomach pains today but I feel fine. Are you supposed to do like tons of them? Also, should my head remain flat on the padding while I roll up? I just joined a gym for the first time 10 days ago and haven't had time to go to an orientation class yet.

only 45 min elliptical - my body appears to be having one of those "I'm going to fall apart all at once" weeks - so far my left knee has been hurting (think its just the weather changing thats making it hurt) and my ear has gotten really painful (the eustachian tube is closed, meaning that I have that feeling like you get on an airplane where you REALLY need to pop your ears because they hurt, except I have it continuously and there is no way to get my ears to pop...). For the ear, they put me on Sudafed...not exactly "get up and go" kind of medicine.

So I'm ok with the 45 min, even though i would have preferred it be more. Tomorrow is engagement pics, so I'll be making up for it on Sunday with cardio and UB strength.

yesterday: nothing (rest day)
today: 70 minute walk outside (though it was MUCH too windy -- my little ears are frozen!)

20 min of taebo and a 5 min walk to the apt complex gym (before taebo) where we discovered that 1pm on a sun is prime gym time. Therefore, we turned around and I conned my roomie into doing taebo.
