well I got up this morning and my scale finally moved another pound. It took 2 months to lose 1 pound, but hey, it finally moved. I have low thyroid. so that makes 13 pounds down for me! woooooooooohoooooooo
With that motivating me, I put on my tennis shoes and did the 60 minute 4 mile WATP Express tape.
Just finished the two mile walk for the first time. 3 miles in, 7 more to go. I have been tired and worn down lately and didn't exercise much this week but am feeling much better today!

Hello, everyone! Tonight I biked 7 miles in 25 minutes, and did an arms workout with weights -- Tamilee Webb's I Want That Body.
Hey, I realized this morning that I met my November goal of 30 miles yesterday! Last month I did 50 miles, but I'd thought that I'd reduce the goal this month because I had added some variety.....but I seem to keep on walking!
I´m new to this. Can you all tell me how to start? How do you measure how much time you have walked? I desperately need to lose weight. I already started the diet but its not enough. I'm here in mex so theres not that many people that you can talk about this to.
HIIIIIIIIIIII !!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I have been away for awhile....I was just down =( Even on my birthday I felt like ****. Anyways, I'm happy to say I got back to exercising and did my 4 mile WATP tape today, that's exactly what I needed to get that motivation pumping again.
I'm almost at my goal of walking 20 miles!!!!! Only 1 more mile to be walked...... I'll probably exceed my goal!! =D
Tonight, I did the 1-mile WATP, then Kathy Smith's Great Buns and Thighs Step Workout.....that one's a killer for a step newbie like me!
Welcome back, seemzy! Nice to have you back with us, and great job jumping right back on track. You go, girl.
overweight in mexico, welcome to the walking thread! I replied to your PM - did you get it? You could map out a walk outdoors, and then drive it with a car to get the distance, then walk it regularly and track your distance walked....that would be one way. Also, a lot of people wear pedometers, which track distance or steps. The first thing would be to just get started moving, and if you want to check in here, you could at least say, "I walked for a 30 minutes today," or something along those lines.
