Hello Ladies,

Wow, what a week I've had. I successfully passed the class with a 93%, third highest in the class. My brain is fried and I am looking forward to a day of just lounging! I had to work yesterday because we got backlogged while we were all in class.

My brother got in a bad motorcycle accident this week and ended up in the hospital and totalled his bike. He is okay, with a concussion and a sprained left wrist and a lot of road rash. He was turning a corner around 30 miles per hour and his front tire hit some gravel that had been used to fill in a hole in the road. He's contemplating suing the state, because the responding officer told him there had been six other accidents in that same spot in the last two weeks. I'm just glad he's okay.

I did not get any exercise in this week, so I am "redoing" this last week starting tomorrow. I just did not have the time and that is the truth. Just too much going on with working days and then overtime and then trying to fit in my time with my boys.

Just wanted to say I was back and am back on track as of tomorrow.

Ok Chach....I'm with you. Starting tomorrow I am back in full gear as far as exercise!! Let's do it, ok?? I just have to and if I know someone else is in this with me, I am much more apt to continue. Accountability works wonders for me.

How are the rest of you ladies doing?? I havent exercised since I did the Glider the other day. Took my son to see "Rugrats" today, had Pizza Hut buffet for lunch and Baskin Robbins afterwards.:o Now you see why I just have to get back on track!

The weekend is almost over. Hope you all enjoyed yours.

Ok Power Girls, I have to turn my power back on!

I haven't done any workouts since my elliptical last week. I need to get back in routine. Actually, I need to make a routine and stick to it. I think my knee is good now, so no excuses.

I probably won't be doing my workout till tonight. This is our long weekend up here. Gonna enjoy it. Supposed to be in the high 80's to low 90's this week!

Ok ladies, we can do this!

I can't even get thru the first half of this series! I've heard that the new one is a continuation. At least I know I'll have something to work towards with a new series.

Hi Girls!

Well, I did it...I got back on track today!! Hooray!:D My sis and I did our Abs tape at 8 a.m. then I went to work at 10 and worked til 7 pm.

I had a grilled chicken salad for lunch and drank 64 ounces of water during the day. About an hour ago, my sis and I walked 2 miles. After that, I had a roasted chicken sandwich from Subway. I did have one mini hersey chocolate sometime during the day. Oh and for breakfast I had a scrambled egg and toast.

All in all, foodwise I did fine and back into my exercise! I'm thrilled that I could actually post something positive again for a change. Hope you all are getting into gear also. I'm off the rest of this week so I'll have no excuses not to continue.

I'll check in again tomorrow!

I just tried to post, but it didn't show up! Sorry if this goes on twice.

I just finished sweating thru the Power 90 Sculpt. The knee felt a little funny, so I just wrapped it in the tensor and took it easy with the lunges and squats.

Man, I feel so good after a workout, so why don't I keep doing the workouts?:shrug: I'll just HAVE to make it a good habit.

MIKI--Hooray for you getting in a workout today! And good eating too.

Hope everyone else got in a workout. If not, tomorrow is another day.

Hello Power Girls!

Back on track today. Cardio and walking, so I am feeling good. I need to get the food back on track, but honestly, not that bad with the food.

Miki: Sounds like we are in the same spot. Accountability is the best. I'm not starting the entire 90 days over, I'm just pretending that last week didn't happen. Great job on the eating!

Susanne: So nice to know you are back on it also. Why is it that we all slipped at the same time? Darn those evil-doers that get in our brains.

I'm still getting back into the swing shift mode, so bear with me a couple of days. Back to posting on a daily basis and checking in with each other. Gotta be accountable!

Hi again girls!

Zanne, me too...I feel so much better once I know I've gotten in that workout for the day! Kinda silly to skip it knowing that. Plus afterwards, I always think..Why oh why didnt I go ahead and do it??!! I feel awful about myself when I miss a day or two.(or 3 or 4..lol)

Chachee, It was pretty weird we all got sidetracked at the same time. We need to get our bad times on diff schedules so the one not doing so great can be motivated by the ones that are. Wonder how to get that worked out.:lol:

My eating wasnt quite as good today but I did do the Thigh tape this morning with my sis and then walked a mile tonite with hubby. Gotta work on the eating again tomorrow.

Mindi...how are things going with you? Come join us when you can. :)

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been a bit awol. I'm a paralegal in a criminal defense law office and we've been terribly busy the past few months, I have a long commute and I spend most weekends w/my bf, plus I have a house, 2 dogs, etc to take of. Some days I just don't know where my time goes!!!!

You guys, the Slim Series is KILLER! If you like pain, get it. lol

I'm starting a new BodyRX challenge on Sunday, so I may have to put SS aside for a bit, but I'll go back to it. I'm trying to figure out a way to work it into the Bodyrx plan but I dunno if it'll work.

Everyone ready for the holiday weekend?

Another day done
 
Well, I got in the cardio/abs workout last night. Finished at 10:45pm:yikes: Of course I had to stay up a little to wind down. I still don't like the power yoga, but I can see little improvements in myself.

MINDI--WOW! You are one busy lady! Good luck with the new challenge. I've heard of Body RX but don't really know anything about it.

MIKI--Way to go for getting in another day of exercise. We'll just have to keep trying and we'll get there.

CHACHEE--I don't know why we all fell at the same time. Was it a full moon or something?:lol: At least we all seem to be back on track. My DH just started nights this week, and I'm still trying to get used to that!

Keep up the good work ladies! We'll be buff in no time!

Hi Girls!

Only have a minute because I'm in the middle of grilling some steaks and it's almost time to take them up I think. So far so good foodwise. And I need the steak aka protein for "power" dont I? :lol:

My sis and I walked 2 and a half miles before 8 this morning then we did the half hour Arms tape. Only drank 34 ounces of water so far but that's better than I had been doing a week or so ago. I'll have more with my steak also.

Well better run before I burn those steaks.

Hey Gang!

I did the Sculpt workout today. I'm seeing little improvements there too. Like I can do a couple more pushups and I think I'll soon have to increase my weights for some of the moves.

That's 3 days of working out in a row now.

Food is getting better. I still have to get in more fruits and veggies. Water is pretty good, some days better than others.


MIKI--Mmmmmm steak! I had a steak sandwich earlier. Sounds like you've got back on track and are doing well. Keep it up.

Ok, time for beddie bye.

Once again, I only have time for a quick post but I wanted to check in at least. I did my Abs tape today but didnt get in any extras like walking, etc. Also, I had chinese buffet tonite and with all-u-can-eat buffets I never know when to stop.

Grilling hamburgers at the in-laws tomorrow for the 4th so the eating shouldnt be too bad. Hopefully she wont have some high calories dessert to tempt me. Probably not tho because she does everything lowfat.
