Has ANYONE had success with Power 90????

I would love to hear something about the power 90 workout videos (be it good or bad). I want to order them SO bad, but am afraid of it being a scam!!!! (I know that anything that sounds too good to be true usually is...but...I want something that works!)
I am the world's worst at sticking to a diet. I HAVE to exercise to lose any significant weight, and I am having a hard time finding anything suited for me. I like the WATP tapes, but I need a little more. I tried the FIRM tapes, but they are hard on my knees.
(Can you tell I'm a television infomercial addict???? haha) The Pilates videos don't seem to have any cardiovascular in them?
Anyway, now you know why I'm skeptical about spending more money on workout videos. I can't go to a gym, and really need to exercise at home. PULEASE, PULEASE, PUUUULLEEEAAASSSEEE pass your advice on to me! I will appreciate ANY you can give me!

Thanks in advance!!!

Angel26519 04-14-2003 12:56 PM

Hey there!!!

I have tried the power 90 videos and they do work.... they are a good workout and nothing scammy about them.... you use weights or bands on one video and increase the weight as you go.... you use this video every other day and then you have a video that is cardio that you also do every other day....

They are good tapes you just have to actually use them..... I dont understand why they dont work sitting in the drawer :)

Also - when you purchase them they will try to push some pills that they are selling I would avoid those.

Coachs_wife 04-14-2003 02:41 PM

Hey Angel,
Thank you SO much for the advice. I actually ordered the system about a week ago (they haven't arrived yet) I did not purchase the pills, but I did get a set of resistance bands off of ebay.
I was kind of surprised more people hadn't tried this system on here!
Now if I can take MINE out of the box when they get here....and actually USE them....lol.
Thanks again. I appreciate the input.

Angel26519 04-16-2003 10:14 AM

Good Luck on them!!!!

P90 Success? Yes!

Hi there. :)

I bought the Power90 program, but did not buy the supplements. I followed Weight Watcher points program, instead of doing the suggested diet (many of the foods they suggest you eat to 'carve your physique' were not things I'd eat!) I was lucky, had a great, motivated partner who was ready to do this every day with me.

We finished the first 90 days without missing a single day, either of us. I lost a total of 22 lbs, which I was disappointed with at first, until I realized that I had achieved something more valuable ... I had a WAIST for the first time in YEARS! I lost a total of 23" (7 of those inches were from my waist!) I had muscle tone and two cans out of a six pack on my abs! ;)

Having been overweight for most of my life, and never in very good shape, I can't tell you had exciting this was, not to mention how it makes you feel like you should be a spokesperson for the program! I had more energy than ever before in my life and I was proud of what I achieved. This program also helps you with your posture because you find yourself throwing back your shoulders and standing proud. :)

Now, how have I done with maintaining these wonderful results?

After completing the first 90 days I suffered a work-related injury and wasn't allowed to exercise for almost a year. Gradually, the weight snuck back on. :( However, I still have the waist, and I know the muscles I built up are there, simply buried under this layer of fat.

I am getting ready to begin the program again and because I know it works, it will provide me with additional motivation I am sure I will need, because I know I will have some pain in the beginning due to muscles that haven't been worked for almost a year now.

I wish you much success, and can offer you this advice: Do the measurements and take the pictures, even if, no, ESPECIALLY if, you don't want to! They will truly motivate you and keep you going during the times you want to quit. Best of luck! :)

Sharon

Coachs_wife 04-27-2003 01:39 AM

Thanks a bunch!

Hi Sharon,
Just wanted to thank you for the input. I have (reluctantly) taken the front, side, and back pics...(groan) and am still waiting for the dang tapes to get here! I hope I have the success you did. I know in my head that ANY kind of steady exercise will benefit...it's just those darn infomercials! lol
Thanks again and luck with the fresh start!

1day@atime 04-29-2003 01:33 PM

Hello,
Let me know how the tapes work for you. I too have "the firm" tapes & they are so hard on my knees... I also have Leslie Sansone tapes & Tae-Bo. I guess I"m always looking for that "wonder tape"...

Let me know how they work for you!

Coachs_wife 04-29-2003 02:47 PM

Hi Patty,
I still have not received my tapes. (Guess I should have used express mail!) I know what you mean by the 'wonder tapes". I always think "If I only had THOSE tapes, I will be thin..." (I'm such a sucker!) I'll keep ya posted.
Kristin

1day@atime 04-30-2003 01:37 PM

Hi Kristin,

We'll I didn't want to admit it, but I also have been know to buy the latest exercise eqpt. I have bought items, & tell myself If i don't use it in the next two weeks i'm taking it back. Unfortunately you really can't return tapes.

Let me know how it goes... Looking at the info, I keep thinking that is the one for me.

Coachs_wife 04-30-2003 02:08 PM

You and me both, Patty...
Instead on my name being "Coachs_wife" I should have used "Infomercial Queen". I'll keep you posted.
Kristin

1day@atime 05-14-2003 01:56 PM

Have you received the tapes yet? How are they?

Coachs_wife 05-14-2003 02:15 PM

Hi Patty,
Funny...I received my tapes day before yesterday. I just did open them up this morning and I was viewing them before I actually tried them. They don't look too bad, except they do alot of lunges which is hard on my knees. The good part is that they are SHORT. I LIKE that I only have to do this for 30 minutes a day. I will let you know after I actually begin though. I guess I will try and start them tomorrow. (groan) haha
Take care,
Kristin

Coachs_wife 05-19-2003 07:17 PM

Me again,
Just thought I"d update ya. I started the Power 90 program this morning, and it was really okay! 30 minutes is nothing compared to most other workout tapes that are so much longer! And it wasn't too hard either. They do several push-ups which I couldn't finish....and the lunges were much easier than on the Firm because you do them so slowly, and you don't do but a few reps at a time. Anyway, I didn't think I had gotten much of a workout (what...only 30 minutes???? lol) but now it is 12 hours later, and I'm feeling a bit sore!
I'll try and keep you posted...after all, this is only day 1. (ugh)
Kristin

Zanne 05-20-2003 08:58 AM

Glad I found this thread

CoachsWife--I was glad to read your "review" of the Power 90 workout.

Did you do the fast? (I've read there is a 2 day fast suggested). I don't know if I could do it. I get lightheaded if I don't eat breakfast!

I'll be looking forward to further reports from you.

Thanks to everyone for your input. I have just ordered the DVDs myself and was wondering what people thought.

Coachs_wife 05-20-2003 01:24 PM

Hey Zanne,
Just wanted to touch base and let you know what I'm doing. I did not do the fast, nor did I purchase the supplements. I really researched those two things and found that I, personally, did not need that right now. I, too, need to eat in order not to feel weak, plus I have talked to tons of people who are doing fine without the fast or the supplements. I take a multivitamin everyday (regular over-the-counter Centrum) because I don't always get the reccommended veggies and fruits I need a day. There's a good article someone posted on the site about how we overuse vitamins and supplements these days. I have talked to 2 women who have both lost over 100lbs with power 90 and neither of them purchased the supplements or did the fast.
I'm on day 2...and I'm SORE! lol Didn't think 30 minutes of exercise could affect so many different parts of my body! lol I'll try and keep you posted....my main concern is being able to stick with it...wish me luck!
Anyway, hope this helps!

Zanne 05-20-2003 02:17 PM

Mine Just Arrived

Just got the DVDs this morning! I'm impressed, since I'm in Canada. I still have to preview the DVDs and read over the booklets. But I am excited!

I eat pretty well already; mostly what I eat is from the top 3 tiers of Michi's Ladder, with the odd splurge with stuff from the bottom tiers. I have to be more consistant with my water (some days I get lots, some days not enough) and I have to really make sure to get in my veggies and fruits.

Right now, I don't think I'd mind being a little sore from a workout. The end result will be worth it. I need to stick with the exercising also. I tend to go for a couple of weeks of doing well and then back on the couch I'm parked:lol:

Well, I'm off to look at those workouts! Maybe I can get one in today too.

Maybe we can cheer each other on in this quest, and any others doing this Power 90?!!!

Bye for now!

Coachs_wife 05-20-2003 08:48 PM

Okay Zanne...let me know when you do the Cardio/Abs...I'm anxious to see what you think!!! hahahaHOHOHO (OW...it hurts to laugh....)
Later!

MikiG 05-20-2003 09:49 PM

Hi everyone! I'm glad I happened up on this thread. I just recently ordered the "Power Half Hour" tapes...by the same company and people of Power90 but a "reduced" version. I think I read that the guy studied all the tapes and exercises on them for a year and condensed them into this shorter program. This one is for 6 weeks rather than 90 days. I had been wondering if these exercises really worked as well as they're advertised to do and from the posts here, I feel like I've probably chosen a good program to start with. My tapes arent here yet....should be in the next 2 days. I did get aggravated tho. I was so anxious to get them that I didnt pay in two installments, I paid the whole thing upfront, had it automatically debited from my checking account which was supposed to insure their arrival within 10-12 days. Well, it has been over 20 days!! I called twice and finally last nite emailed with a strong complaint. I was shocked that within 5 minutes, I had a reply complete with apology and note that they were sending another set FedEx 2nd day. If they actually did that, I should have them this week for sure. I cant wait! I'll check in after I've done a session or two. :)

Miki

Zanne 05-21-2003 07:18 AM

Good Morning

Miki!--I've read that the Power Half Hour tapes are a good lead up to the Power 90 program. Bummer that you've had problems receiving your order. I rec'd mine in less than 2 weeks. I did have to email several times to check up on the order, but I always rec'd an email within 12 hours with satisfactory answers. I hope you get your tapes really soon! You, CoachsWife and myself will have started within a few days of each other.

CoachsWife--We just previewed the workouts last night; didn't get a chance to do a workout. I think I'm going to really like this program. It will be difficult, but worth it! I am oh so flabby. Today is the circuit, so I won't be able to let you know what I think of the cardio/abs till tomorrow.

Maybe we can call ourselves the POWER GIRLS. Whadda ya think?

Coachs_wife 05-21-2003 11:00 AM

Welcome MikiG!
I am curious about the power half tapes myself. I read about them but decided to choose the power 90 instead, mainly because of their popularity. Keep us updated on how they are!
Zanne, I can't wait to hear what you think of the cardio/abs tape. hahahha I'm tellin' ya, I was ready to jump through the screen and kill Tony...lol.
I think Power girls is a great name! Maybe we can keep each other motivated better, eh!
Gotta run...it's day 3....and not feeling quite as sore today. (Thank goodness!)
Talk soon,
Kristin

Zanne 05-21-2003 11:28 AM

Day one Done!

Well, I finished the circuit training about an hour ago. WOW! I was quite surprised at how quickly that half hour flew by! I managed to do all the reps for most everything. I did the girl pushups, but I could do them that way. I'll work my way up to the full push up. I don't feel too bad--YET! I actually feel invigorated.

When I previewed the workouts last night, I thought the circuit would be the more difficult one for me. But we'll see what tomorrow brings with cardio and abs:^:

Bye for now!

Coachs_wife 05-21-2003 03:10 PM

Hey Susanne!
Wasn't that great? 30 minutes and you're DONE with day 1! I'll say it again, I can't wait until you try tomorrows'. I'm anxious to see how you like the power yoga!! lol
Keep pushing play!!! I will try to also!
Talk soon,
Kristin

MikiG 05-21-2003 09:46 PM

Thanks for the welcome, and I've love to be one of the "Power Girls". I am so hoping that this will be just what I need! I walk alot but I need so much more than just that, and I need a program. I'm not good at just motivating myself without something planned out. My sis is going to do it with me so she'll keep me on track. It'll also help to know I am accountable here too.

Miki

Coachs_wife 05-21-2003 11:39 PM

Hey Miki,
Can't wait to hear how the Power half hour works! I can't imagine that it would be a whole lot different than Power 90? They are only about 30 minutes also...wonder what the difference is? Hope you get your tapes soon! Let's POWER UP, girls! ahahahaha
Check in soon,
Kristin

Zanne 05-22-2003 08:58 AM

Good Morning Power Girls!

I haven't yet done the cardio workout. But this morning I feel a little sore in the shoulders. I was only using little weights too. 3 and 5 pounders. I'll get stonger:strong: I'm hoping the cardio will help stretch out the soreness.

Miki--that's great that your sis will be doing it with you. My DH is supposed to be doing it with me. He came home yesterday and stuff was happening and he didn't get a chance to workout (I had done mine in the morning). Now I'm looking at it as a compitition:s: You'll have to tell us more about the Power Half Hour program! Is there anything you can start doing till your tapes come? Have you browsed the BeachBody site? Lots of info there.

Kristin--I will definately let you know how things went with the cardio! How are you doing with the eating program?

Ok Power Girls! I'm outta here for now.

Coachs_wife 05-22-2003 02:21 PM

Hey girlies!
Just checking in...did my day 4 this morning...not as bad as before. (I'm still hating power yoga...GRRR!!!! lol ) Susanne, the only thing I'm really doing as far as my eating goes is I cut out the junk food (I'm a junk food-a-holic...candy, chips, pop, etc.) and I try to just eat until I'm satisfied. I didn't want to start out trying to power exercise and diet all at the same time. I'm the kind of person that will burn out quick doing all that at once.
SO..we will see what happens at day 30, then I'll decide if I need to moderate my eating more.
Well..I'm off to the dentist! Chat soon!!!
CIAO

Zanne 05-22-2003 04:08 PM

Holy Smokes!

Ok, I just finished the cardio workout! That Power Yoga is REALLY hard!!! So is the ab work. When I previewed the workouts, I thought this would be the easy one. For me doing it, it's the opposite--the weights are easier. That plank into the upright dog is the worst! But we'll get better at this yoga! I love the kickboxing stuff--especially the punches. I have to take it easy with the kicks--I kept hearing my hips "pop". It really is a good workout tho. I really like that there are no silly dance type moves.

I'm finding more and more thru today that I am sore from yesterday's workout. I'll be doing something and my muscles hurt a little. A least I know I worked this body.

I still have to take my "before" pics. Rather, I will have to ask DH to take the pics. Don't have a digital camera, so I feel sorry for the poor person who will have to develop them!

Miki--hope I'm not scaring you off from your program! It sounds awful, but I really have enjoyed the workouts. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours too.

Kristin--I guess I'm 2 days behind you, but at least we're doing the same workout on the same days.

Ok, gotta get moving. My son has an early soccer game.

Talk @ y'all later!

Coachs_wife 05-22-2003 06:41 PM

Hey girls!
I was laughing the whole time I was reading your post, Susanne. Mainly because I felt the same way! hhaha. I'll tell you though, Day 2 was the worst for me. I started losing the soreness on Day 3, and now that it's day 4, I only feel a little sore in couple of places. I took my day 1 pics...and they are posted in the power 90 gallery if you want to check them out. My name on there is basically the same...it's ima_coachs_wife on there. I weigh a WHOLE lot more than you do...you will see that when you look at my pics.
Anyhoo, MikiG, can't wait til you get your tapes. Tomorrow, right? Let us know!
Talk to you power girls soon!
Ciao

MikiG 05-22-2003 10:05 PM

Grrrrrrrrr...I still havent received my tapes!! I did walk 4 miles in an hour this morning tho and for 2 of those, I carried a 3 lb weight in each hand. I think I MIGHT possibly finally hit under the 200 mark tomorrow! Keep your fingers crossed for me! I've fluctuated between 200.5 and 205 for weeks now but I've really stayed on track this week with exercise and with food so we'll see. I havent been under 200 in YEARS!! I'm getting jealous that ya'll are all getting into your Power90 workout and Im still waiting. I just cant wait to get started. If I dont get them tomorrow, SOMEBODY is gonna wish I had. (probably my poor family..they're sick of hearing me gripe about it..lol )

Coachs_wife 05-22-2003 11:06 PM

Hey Miki!
Hey, I wouldn't be too upset about not getting to start the beachbody stuff yet! FOUR miles in 2 hours?? That's FANTASTIC!! And with weights too...wow...I certainly could NOT do that!!! You should be thrilled!! I can't wait until I get under 200...it's been a LOOOONNGGG time for me too...(ugh). I have a long way to go though. Don't know if you've gotten on the beachbody site, but my pics are posted there. (I did the day 1 pics in the picture gallery...NOT a pretty site!!! EW!)
Just keep doing what you're doing. The exercise you're getting now is still great!
We will still be here when you're tapes arrive (I hope! lol) so hang in there! Power girls rule...hahaha
Ciao for now

Zanne 05-23-2003 06:58 AM

Morning Power Girls

Oh boy, are my legs sore from yesterday! That's ok. I'm still looking forward to doing today's workout. Hmmm, that sounds funny--that I'm WANTING to exercise! DH still hasn't started--wonder if he will. I told him the cardio was harder than the weights and he didn't believe me. He thought the cardio looked easier too.

Miki--Still no tapes, huh? Did you order by phone or on the site? I ordered from the site and was supposed to get an email when the order shipped. I never got the email in the 3-5 days like they said. That's when I started emailing the customer service department. I'm hoping your order comes today. If they were supposed to come yesterday, get on the phone or email customer service. WOW! You did 4 miles in an hour??? That is a fantastic pace!:bravo: I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that the metal monster is kind to you and you get below 200. Keep up doing some kind of exercise till you get the tapes. That way you'll already be in the exercise habit.

Kristin--I checked out your pics. Good for you for posting them. And good for you for starting an exercise program. :cp: It doesn't matter what weight we're all starting from. What matters is that we're working on getting healthier.

I personally think it's a big step to take "before" pics. I found it to be a big motivator for myself. I had DH take some pics of me in a 2pc bathing suit :yikes: a couple of summers ago. It helped get me exercising for about 6 months. Then life happened and I let things slide. I found those pics recently and compared them to how I look now, and I'm pretty darn close to that high weight (8lbs away). It just so happened the Power 90 infomercial came on a few days later and got me interested. So we'll see how this program works. I'm a very slow loser. Also, I'm not tooooo worried about scale weight--I want to see my clothes sizes going down.

:drill: OK POWER GIRLS! LET'S ALL EXERCISE TODAY!!! :drill:

I'll be back later.

Coachs_wife 05-23-2003 01:40 PM

Hey Susanne!
Don't worry about that soreness...mine disappeared after Day 3..but I know what you mean. HARD to exercise when everything hurts! I just finished Day 5....one more day and I get a rest day! lol I did much better today. My knees didn't hurt near as much because I am taking it easier on the lunges, etc. I did alot better on the pushups today too. I didn't think you could improve so much in just a few days, but I'm really doing it! YEA!
I gotta tell ya, I had a REALLY hard time posting my pics. I took them late at night while my husband was in bed and the kids were asleep. I have a timer on my digital camera and I sat it on the ironing board in my bedroom while I took the pics. I think I took around 25 or so...didn't matter, they all still looked AWFUL! I never dreamed in a million years I'd let myself get to this state. I weighed around 135-140 all through high school and college...gained the normal "Freshman Fifteen" but lost it my senior year....THEN...CHILDREN. lol I've steadily gained weight year after year for the last 12 years. Was diagnosed with Meniere's Disease 2 years ago...couldn't get out of bed for about 4 months and that's when the pounds REALLY piled up! But I have been getting regular treatments for this illness and am learning to cope with it quite well. Now I just have to stick to this exercise routine!
You guys REALLY help me stay motivated! I'm so glad I've found the Power girls! I really want to keep this up!
Are either of you going to post your pics???? hahaha Don't leave me hangin'....***kidding***
Take care all....gotta hit the showers!
Ciao for now

Zanne 05-23-2003 05:26 PM

Hi Power Girls

Ok, I did day 3. The pushups were a bit easier today and I think I'll be able to up my weights a little next week. Let's see if my hips still "pop" in tomorrow's workout. I'm still a bit sore today, but it's a GOOD sore.

I'm finding that I'm not eating as much these past couple of days. I keep forgetting how exercising surpresses my appetite. I'm still having problems in getting in enough fruits and veggies, but I'll have to keep working on that.

Kristin--how does Meniere's disease affect you? (I haven't gone searching to see what it is yet). Doesn't sound like much fun. I have PCOS and it makes it really difficult to lose weight and easier to put on the weight!:dizzy: I have to really watch my eating and I try not to have: processed foods, white flour foods, sugar, honey, white rice and I try to limit my starchy carbs. I don't have a digital camera or a scanner, so I don't know when/if I will get pics posted.

Miki--How's it going for you today? Did you get any exercise in? Have you heard about your tapes? Keep us informed on how you're doing.

Gotta go get dinner ready. Bye.

Coachs_wife 05-23-2003 05:40 PM

Hey Susanne,
What size weights did you start out with? I began with 3lb weights...(blushing) Not ready to up mine yet though. Meniere's disease is a disease of the inner ear. When it first hit me, I was convinced I had a huge brain tumor and was dying. (silly). I had severe vertigo, LOUD tinnitis, nausea, vomiting, headaches, loss of hearing, and a few other things. Finally found a doc who did tons of testing and found the problem. I will have it the rest of my life, but at least I'm learning how to deal with it and am getting regular treatments.
Anyway, what is PCOS? Does that have something to do with your ovaries not functioning right? I am also having problems getting in enough fruits and veggies. Not my favorite, so hard to maintain.
Welp, power girls, I'm gonna run. Will have a day of rest after tomorrow! YEA!
Ciao for now

MikiG 05-23-2003 11:12 PM

Still no tapes!!!! I am getting soooooooooo frustrated!! I had an email awhile back saying they had been shipped on May 16 and should be here in 7-10 days. BUT I had paid the two payments up front rather than in 2 separate monthly ones to get them earlier (was supposed to be 10-12 days max) and they debited my account on April 30!! Soon it will be May 30!!! Monday is a holiday so I wont get them then for sure. I did send a pretty strong email to them on the 19th and thats when I got the reply that they were sorry and would 2ndDay FedEx them to me. Well, this is the 23rd and still no tapes!!! I've made 2 phone calls in the last week or so also. I am really getting fed up. Crossing my fingers that they show tomorrow.

I walked 3 miles today. Only carried my weights for one of them. I do have some good news tho...My official new weight as of today is...199.5!!!:cb: Just BARELY under 200 but under enough to count...

Ya'll are really motivating me with all your Power90 workout talk. I just cant wait to join you. Keep up the good work!

MIKI

MikiG 05-23-2003 11:20 PM

PS...Where on the Power90 is the gallery?? I dont know where to look for the pics.

Coachs_wife 05-24-2003 12:10 AM

Hi Miki,
When you go to the beachbody site, go to the top of the page and click on the tab that says "Community Center". Then go to the "Message Boards", then scroll down and you will see a thread that says "Power 90 Photo Gallery". There are TONS of pics in there! They are very inspirational too. All those people slimming down can't be wrong!
And CONGRATS on getting under 200!! WOOHOO! Can't wait until I can say the same thing! You go girl!
I will channel the mail and see if I can't get those tapes to you soon! hahahaha But it's great that you're still walkin'!
Talk soon,
CIAO

Zanne 05-24-2003 09:24 AM

Morning!

Hey Power Girls!

A rainy day here. I have the place to myself for a few hours. My hubby went to my folks' to help with some renos and he took our son with him:dancer:

I had my hubby take my "before" pics last night. Poor, poor person in the photolab! I usually get doubles of my films too. :fr: I don't care. In a couple of months, the pics 30 or 60 day pics won't be so scary.

Miki--Oh Dear! Still no tapes! I really hope you get them today:crossed: I would say that if you don't get them by Monday, email them again, possibly using the reply button for the letter they sent you about fed-exing in 2 days. Just state the facts like you've said here (when account was debited, when you rec'd email package was shipped, and that they said they'd fed-ex it to you.) Try not to get angry, just state the facts and ask where the package is. Keep your emails to them--then you have a record of what you wrote and when.

I'm really happy that you are still doing your walking. Good job! And you're BELOW 200:twirly: :high: You are doing Awsome!

Kristin--Kudos to you for being able to learn to live with Meniere's. Doesn't sound very nice at all. PCOS--Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome. A lot of women with this problem DO have the cysts on the ovaries, but I don't. It is a hormonal disorder (how I describe it). They must have named it PCOS because they found a lot of women with the same symptoms had the cysts. (probably a male doc!) I have other symptoms like gaining weight easily, especially above the belly button (but below it has rolls too!), difficulty in losing the weight, excess facial hair, high blood pressure etc. I'm also more at risk for developing diabetes. So I want to get the weight under control because losing weight will help deminish the other symptoms.

I am using 3 and 5 lb weights depending on what move I'm doing. I think next week I'll be able to use 5 and 7 lbs. You were sooo right--today is day 4 and I'm not too sore. I can feel a little bit, but that way I know I've worked myself.

Ok girls, I'm outta here. gotta do a few chores and then my workout.

I'm Back!

Well, I got in the cardio today. It was a little easier than the first time. I actually was able to do a couple of plank-pushup-upward dog moves. My knees and hips are a little out of wack--I have bad joints. But my hips didn't "pop" as much this time around on the kicks.

Wow! Sunshine came out here! I'm going to putter in the garden.

Hi girls!
Just got home...LONG day with the errands, shopping, etc. (Sometimes I HATE Saturdays...) Anyway, this is the first time I haven't gotten my workout done in the a.m. Here it is 3:00 and I STILL have to do cardio! ARGH! Now I know why it's best to get those things in EARLY.....lol.
Gosh, Susanne, I'm sorry to hear about the PCOS. I knew it had something to do with the ovaries...I have a friend whose daughter just got diagnosed with it. (She's only 15.) She is really heavy, has thick hair on her legs and face, and she was getting some abnormal coloring on her face. She is getting treated, but I know it's something you have to live with the rest of your life. God bless ya for starting an exercise program with all of that going on!!! Glad the soreness is going away, and the hip is not popping so much anymore! But we get a REST day tomorrow!! woohoo!!!!!
Miki, I don't know what to say about those darn tapes...I'm still trying to channel the mail for ya!
Okay, well...guess I had better hit the cardio!
CIAO for now
