3.66. This was meant to be more but I had a bad fall. For the last 2 miles I ran home with massive amounts of blood pouring out of my knees and elbows. The top of my socks are covered in blood and so are the tops of my brand new shoes. I also have blood stains on my white shirt in various places. I just spent the last 45 minutes picking rocks out of my cuts:(. It's amazing what some adrenalin can do to you, the 2 miles home was the fastest I have ever run! And for the record this happened on a trail, so it could happen to anyone! lol

SM177: I'm sorry to hear about your fall. For me running on trails is a dangerous thing, the longer I run the less I'm able to focus making me more prone to accidents.
4.46 miles for me. |
6 this past Friday

3.3 miles this morning... |
Weekly check-in: 356/1000 miles YTD.
Did a beautiful 11.5 run along the beach yesterday morning with my running buddies. We started before dawn, as usual, in time to see the sun rising over a calm ocean, into a cloudless blue sky. I saw no less than 5 Easter sunrise services setting up or in progress along the way, including one baptismal service. What a beautiful way to start an Easter Sunday! During times like that, I feel overwhelmingly grateful to be healthy and ABLE to run and move and breathe. I try to never take that for granted. .. And then home to eat and change and get ready for my Easter service later!! |
